We spent 4 nights recently and had a lake side site. The view was pretty, though there is no shoreline - it is cordoned off with metal mesh so you can't enter the water. This is because it is right next to a bird sanctuary - that's a plus - lots of bird watching if you enjoy that type of...

We booked this sight unseen online and we were not disappointed. The grounds were well kept and tidy. The washrooms had been recently renovated and were spacious and very clean. The showers are separate from the washrooms, but again spacious, clean and free. We also enjoyed free internet at our campsites although we understood that some locations could not log...

The campsite is small and tight. They have larger sites for bigger rigs but the pretty sites right on the Lake were pretty close together. The view from our campsite was pretty awesome though! We watched the sunset while sipping on some local wine. The pool was great, warm and clean! The bathrooms were obviously refurbished recently and were clean...

Nice campground. Reservation was an easy process. The site is clean and well kept. Shower building was the nicest we have had on our 3 week trip. Pool was refreshing after the scorching hot days and cleaned daily. Nice water and power sites near the lake with green space for sitting and watching ducks and relaxing after a long day....

We stayed at this campground for a few nights. It was very quiet, clean, and the pool was great. Felt like camping in the city though. Campsites very close to one another and almost like a parking lot. When we booked it, we asked for a campsite with a fire pit and did not get one. We were disappointed as...

Visited a great friend who was staying at this centrally located rv site. The camp sites looked spacious and some had Great Lake front locales. Many beautiful trees along the water. They even have a nice pool. This location has easy access and is close to many amenities north Vernon has to offer.

We were there with friends for a weekend soccer tournament in Vernon. Decent sized RV sites on gravel with grass. Nice outlook over small lake. Facilities OK, pool looked nice but didn't use it. Downside is closeness to the Hwy and rail track.

Silver Star RV campgrounds are over priced for what they are. Appearance and cleanliness wise they are great but apperance is where this review stops being a good one.  They advertise newly renovated showers and washrooms which look great but the functionality of the showers was rather shocking.  The women's shower had 1 privacy curtain where there were 3 showers...

You are limited in your choices for RV parks in Vernon, so this one will do but don't stay long. Also, don't have high expectations. It's old and run down, with limited efforts to maintain it from what I could see. The bathrooms have had a face lift - but the showers are weak and the toilets weren't cleaned once...

Looking in the interior BC for a great RV camp. Silver Star in North Vernon is real nice. Quite a peaceful spot. Near to Vernon on the 97. Nice stay in late July and August. Clean pool. Clean sites. Showers, washrooms and laundry on site. Full hookups.

“For the best stay, ask for a site that backs along the tree lined shore. The shade and breeze can make a +35'C day very tolerable. 😎”

“Go for a power only site - then you can get lake side. The full serviced sites just look terrible and are right on top of each other!”
