Nestled in a prime location, Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside garners appreciation for its proximity to ski gondolas and picturesque mountain vistas. The hotel's cleanliness and well-equipped rooms receive accolades from many guests, while the inviting atmosphere is occasionally marred by external noise.

This hotel is not to be missed if you are going to Whistler. The rooms are so well appointed, kitchen well stocked with all the dishes and service items you will need and the bed really comfy. The location is great, and the views are outstanding. This was our third time here and we will be back in 2025. This is a great find, and even has a washer and dryer which is very helpful. Love this place. The bellman, Tyler is a real treasure. So welcoming and helpful. Always a smile and helpful if needed. Great place and so enjoyed our 55th anniversary. Thanks to all.

Our second stay in two years for the annual ski trip. Perfect location looking onto the mountain and over the pool/jacuzzi. Clean, warm and inviting rooms kept pristine daily by housekeeping who do an amazing job and take time to say hello and chat. We received a gift box for our 2 week stay, a lovely touch, full of quality products which were delicious. Daily apres was brilliant, drinks and nibbles with quality produce, the staff were so lovely too and always had time to chat. The pool, jacuzzi and steam room were excellent, always clean with fresh towels. The vending machine was very expensive so we didn’t use it. There is a laundry onsite where you can wash and dry your own clothes, great value and easy to use. The ski room was clean, bright and the lockers were secure and dry. The only downside side is that you get woken up at 5:30am by staff clearing the lift areas when there has been a dumping of snow, you can also hear the snowcats and on an afternoon don’t expect a nap as the music bellows from the Longhorn! We don’t mind it, it’s part and parcel of it but if you want quiet don’t stay mountainside!!!

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this glowing review! We are so pleased that you had a good stay with us and enjoyed your suite, the hotel facilities and our mountainside location. We also shared your lovely feedback about our associates with the team. In case you wanted to experience our location at the base of Whistler & Blackcomb mountain but also a really quiet room we suggest our Upper Floor Suites as they are not facing the Skiers Plaza and Whistler Mountain but still have a lovely view over Whistler and our surrounding mountains. We love to hear that our guests will be coming back again so we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best Wishes, Elisa Guest Experience Manager

We very much enjoyed our brief stay (July 19-July 21 2024) at Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside. Our room was very clean, compact but comfortable. And we enjoyed a lovely view from our balcony. This resort is so conveniently located to both the Whistler Village and to the Blackcomb Village areas. So many restaurants and shopping areas and trails to choose from! This is by far, our favorite accommodation. We also have stayed several times at The Westin Resort.
The bed was very comfortable, and the towels in the bathroom were quite soft. The kitchen is very compact but is equipped with all the basic pots and pans and utensils.
We decided to bring our bikes with us and were quite confident in the very secure bike/ski storage area. Our bikes were tagged and the staff person carefully checked the claim tags to the bike tags and the storage area is very close to the Front Desk.
The Dublin Pub is next to the Pan Pacific and we enjoyed breakfast and lunch there as needed. The serving staff are not only friendly and talkative, but very prompt and attentive.
All our interactions with the Pan Pacific Mountainside staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. No question that we would be very happy to keep returning.

On arrival at the hotel we were extremely disappointed to be charged an extortionate price to park our car. All our previous hotels on our road trip had free parking so this was an unpleasant shock. We found the staff during our stay were very aloof to the point of being very stuck up apart from the British lady who checked us in. Our room was a studio lower valley view, the bed was a wall bed which when pulled down had very dangerous corners especially if you needed to visit the bathroom at night, we had to put spare pillows on the corners to make it safe. The suite had a very noisy fridge / freezer and lots of security lights, this made the room noisy at night if you are a light sleeper and not very dark for sleeping if you like a very dark room. We stayed in 8 different hotels during our road trip and this was our least favourite, all the other hotels had amazing, warm, friendly staff - Pan Pacific need to learn some customer service manners and treat all clients the same , instead of being very friendly and attentive to the wealthier ones, at the end of the day we all pay to stay, so should be all treated the same. On the day we checked out, a cleaner saw us with our cases and came after us quickly, she asked if we were checking out and what room we had left, I imagine she was going to check for a tip straight away, when we saw cleaners the day before without our cases they didn’t bother speaking to us, so this really stood out to us! Very disappointed, hotel on the whole was lovely but staff not so, lacked warmth, personality and we left feeling very out of place.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at the hotel. It sounds like there were several issues that impacted your stay. Regarding parking, would like to mention that parking is indeed chargeable in all other hotels in this location, sorry that you were not informed prior to arrival. The safety concerns you mentioned regarding the bed corners and the noise from the fridge/freezer we will pass to concerned departments. It's crucial for guests to feel comfortable and safe in their accommodations. As for the interaction with the housekeeping staff member upon checkout, usually team member might check the room quickly in case if guest forgot any items to promptly inform reception while guest is at the desk, this is main reason might be of approach and we are sorry for inconvenience, however will investigate the matter. Mrs. Dommett , your feedback is important and we will work towards enhancing their service standards for all guests in the future. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I hope your future travels are more enjoyable. Warm Regards, Farida S. Guest Experience Manager

I don't often write reviews but in this case, I felt that I just have to tell you how fantastic my recent stay was at your property. It started with the warm welcome by the valet attendant who immediately offered to take my skis to the locker. All of the front desk attendants were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel can't be beat and the ease of grabbing your skis from the ground level lockers and walking a mere 30 or 40 paces to the lifts is beyond convenient. The big heated pool and two hot tubs are actually hot (unlike many places!) and the views are fantastic. No "drink nazis" to ruin your proper apres experience either! The gym is well equipped, although I think some sort of divider between the workout area and the walk through to the change rooms and pool area would be ideal since working out with people walking through your space isn't great. Change rooms are well stocked with loads of towels as well. The rooms are well equipped and even the ice trays in the freezer were filled (one of my pet peeves when you arrive to empty ice trays!) and cream (not that powder garbage!) for morning coffee included as well. Most importantly after a full day of skiing, the mattress, pillows and linens were all high quality and even as a "fussy sleeper" I was super comfy and slept very well! I had a pool/mountain facing studio and was first concerned about the noise from Longhorns but it wasn't an issue after about 9pm. My friends in another suite called down to enquire about getting a blender for morning smoothies and were met with "let me see what I can do" and 15 minutes later a blender appeared at the door! I decided to stay an extra night/day and again, the staff were super friendly and I was even fortunate enough to be able to stay in the same room. Upon departure, the valet brought up my car and seeing that my ski bag was in the back, he offered to go grab my three pairs of skis and poles and bring them up to the front and even helped me cram them into the two pair ski bag! I know that it is extremely difficult to find quality staff these days but you guys really nailed it! Without exception, every single employee from front desk to valet to the cleaners you bump into in the hallways, always greeted me with a smile and "good morning". What an absolute pleasure and I will most definitely be staying with you again on my next trip to Whistler!

We chose and booked the hotel well in advance, due to its location and the type of room, as we were traveling with underage children.
A few weeks before our stay, I received an email from the hotel stating that the chosen room type was not available and they offered alternative rooms or accommodations at another property.
I suggest staying in more reputable hotels to avoid inconvenience and issues.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for this feedback. I am sorry that we had this issue with your reservation and that it meant you chose to cancel rather than take the alternative that we offered you at our sister location in Whistler. We appreciate you chose Mountainside for the ski in ski out location so that was of course an understandable decision. As the mistake arose at our end I do again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that we caused you and we hope that you had a good stay at your alternate chosen destination. Best Wishes, Emily Front Office Manager

The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the mountain and village. The rooms are well equipped, clean and bright. The cleaning staff are so lovely, really friendly and efficient - our room was spotless. We were met by helpful and informative staff who gave us everything we needed to settle in, the room was ready on our arrival and there was a lovely welcome pack of goodies waiting for us which contained lovely local produce of chocolate, trail mix, popcorn, crisps and biscuits - a nice touch! The hotel has a laundry room which was excellent value for money with cleaning products, washer and dryers. There is a clean, heated pool, two jacuzzis, a steam room and well equipped gym. There are plenty of towels, and the shower facilities are clean and equipped with shower products for your convenience. The rooms included dressing gowns and slippers which were warm and comfortable. There is a secure ski room with personal lockers, accessed by room card and individual code and the lift has to be used with a room card which prevents strangers from wandering - a nice security feature. We were very impressed and will be back next year. We have always stayed in another hotel year on year and regret not trying this one earlier as it was mich better!

My husband and I return to the Whistler Mountainside Pan Pacific Hotel every summer for numerous reasons. The staff are always incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, from the front desk staff to the valets and the housekeeping staff. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The kitchenettes are well supplied. The bike valet service is excellent. The rooftop pool with incredible views of the mountain is one of our favorite things here and is kept exceptionally clean. The gym is small but clean and has everything you should need to get a good workout. We always book a room with a mountain view because the views from this hotel are unbeatable, especially from the upper floors. The Dubh Lin gate pub downstairs has fantastic food and a fun atmosphere with an outside patio facing the mountain. We also love the location of this hotel as it is right next to the lift and my husband always rides the bike park when we stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay at Whistler.

Very disappointed and upset about my checkout experience with this hotel (June 13-14). I’m a yearly customer with various Pan Pacific locations over the last 20 years. This time I came to Pan Pacific Mountainside to relax after an overwhelming and stressful week and use up a gift certificate from Whistler.com given by family. I had booked a one night studio over the phone and I was told I didn’t need to bring in the copy of the gift certificate. Check in was fine despite some confusion as to why my name wasn’t in the booking but the family members’. On check out however, they expected payment for the whole booking and they did not acknowledge the Whistler.com booking/gift certificate and they made me feel untrustworthy. I was furious that as a regular customer of all of these years, I was looked at with such suspicion! I was still stressed from the week and now I was completely frazzled. The manager was pandering to me and cold - she did not make me feel valued as a customer whatsoever. I was waiting for 30 minutes at the front desk for them to rectify the situation when I finally decided to just pay and leave - with the hopes of being reimbursed at a later date when I dig out the paper gift certificate from my recycling bin at home (I was eventually refunded that evening). The stay was lovely prior to this experience but I left feeling absolutely humiliated. This is the second stay in a row that I’ve had some sort of trouble at this location. No plans on returning anytime soon. Pan Pacific Whistler Village and Seattle, on the other hand, have been wonderful experiences over the years.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your recent stay at Pan Pacific Mountainside. We understand how frustrating and disappointing your checkout experience was, especially considering your long-standing loyalty to Pan Pacific. We regret that we did not have any prior information from the website you booked with regarding your gift certificate, which led to the confusion at check-in and check-out. We are truly sorry for the misunderstanding and for the way you were made to feel during the process. Our intention is always to provide our guests with a seamless and pleasant experience, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve the situation, and we apologize for the time it took to rectify the issue. We are glad to hear that you found the stay lovely despite this incident, but we are disheartened to know that it left you feeling humiliated. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will use it to improve our communication and procedures to ensure that such situations do not occur in the future. Thank you for your kind words about your experiences at Pan Pacific Whistler Village and Pan Pacific Seattle. We hope that despite this recent experience, you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the exceptional service you have come to expect from Pan Pacific. Hi there,
Currently we do not require any bookings for our facilities. You are welcome to use them at your leisure between the hours of 8am-10pm for the gym facility and 10am-10pm for the pool and hot tubs.
Dear Valued Guests,
All hotel rooms are suites as such in that they have a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony. We offer three room types, a studio, one bedroom and two bedroom. Each of these room types has three sub categories, low floor, high floor or mountain view. I hope that helps answer your questions.
Kind Regards,
Nathan Culevski

Dear Guest,
Christmas is a wonderful time of year to visit Whistler. Infact Christmas is very busy and you should know there is often a minimum stay in hotels over the festive season (usually 7 days). All restaurants, bars and eateries will be serving patrons in full swing and of course nothing beats waking up to a winter paradise on Christmas Day.
We would love to welcome you over that period of time so don't hesitate to give us a call if you need any assistance to book in.
Kind Regards,
Nathan Culevski
