Nestled in the heart of Whistler, the Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites garners praise for its prime location near ski rentals and gondolas. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness frequently receive commendations, contributing to the hotel's inviting atmosphere. Guests consistently note the cleanliness of both rooms and common areas.
The well-appointed suites, complete with kitchens and fireplaces, offer comfort, although noise levels and maintenance have been points of concern for some. While the hotel's amenities and cozy ambiance are generally appreciated, views on value and parking costs are mixed.

Detailed Reviews
We purposely booked this hotel for its full kitchen, washer/dryer, open pool, and location... and we were very pleased with our week stay. Staff was courteous and polite. Even with covid protocol, our check-in was not too long. Staff was nice to waive the parking charges for our anniversary trip, so sweet of them :)
The 2-bedroom suite was well laid out with 2 bathrooms, just wished it was more sound proof. Kitchen is well equipped with plates, bowls, cutlery, pans, and even an electric water kettle. It also has a full size refrigerator/freezer, and range/oven. There is an in suite washer/dryer, which you can bring your own laundry powder & dryer sheets, or purchase from hotel for $2.
As part of the covid protocol, there is no housekeeping during your stay, but you can call for new towels or toiletries, when necessary, and leave the dirty towels in a pile in hallway at night (as per staff) which was collected the next morning. One family/bubble is allowed to ride the elevator, and we were glad to be on the top floor. Most times, we did not have to wait for the elevator. Otherwise, you could go down the stairs too. Only complaint was the pool access. Every day at 4pm, you have to line up to book for pool access that day or for next morning, and you only have 1 hour per booking. We managed to use the pool/hot tub once, but other days, there was nothing available to fit our activity schedule. Hotel provides complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water, which you have to grab from the lobby. Just wished they would separate tea and coffee in different paper bags, so we don't feel like we're wasting the coffee when we're only tea drinkers, 'cos both coffee and tea are in the same paper bag.
Check out was easy, we called the front desk to advise them, and dropped off our card keys in the box, off parkade elevator. Would highly recommend this hotel for family stays...far enough from pubs/noisy areas, but close to all amenities!

Stayed for 12 nights late Feb / early March.
Reasons to book
1. Great location. Close to lots of places to eat out. 3 mins walking distance from a particularly good supermarket - Fresh Street Market
2. Excellent hotel shuttle service to and from the lifts. It only takes 3 to 4 mins and Charlie, our driver, seemed to turn up the moment we appeared each day. Charlie epitomised everything that is great about Whistler and Canada - friendly, courteous and efficient
3. The room. We had a 1 bedroom suite at the rear overlooking Whistler mountain. After reading other reviews ( thanks to those contributors ) I'd pre booked a "quiet room" and that's what I received. Yes, there is a loud bar / eating place opposite the front of the hotel. We never heard it from our room. Do not let that put you off booking.
The washer dryer was a massive help. With hindsight we could have lugged half the gear across from the UK
4. Storing skiis. Perfectly placed near the hotel lobby.

This is a great hotel, fab location, and well appointed with very helpful staff. We stayed in a large two bedroom suite and they quickly and professionally sorted out the room configuration for us which had been wrong on arrival. The pool is fabulous after a day of skiing. We were able to make breakfast no problem as kitchen was fully equipped and a separate washer and drier meant we could wash through our ski things when we needed to. All in all a really great stay.

2 night stay for 3 Seniors in 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with full kitchen that saves $$$ versus local restaurants that are priced at high end – low quality. Yes, the hotel is somewhat dated but was as expected and more than offset by location and staff who are clearly committed to guest care. Room and common areas were cleaned and managed following strong COVID protocols, providing a comfortable environment. As a Marriot Bonvoy member, I was provided with online check-in and email confirmation of room availability which made the process simpler at front desk arrival. There are many Whistler hotels competing for your business. To my thinking, most of our visit was spent exploring outdoors so our accommodation needs lay more on the comfort, location and reasonable price versus comparable more updated hotels. Add in top quality guest care – in particular concierge service – and this would be our choice for a return visit in future.

Upgraded from a one-bedroom suite to a two-bedroom and was very pleased with the difference in living space. One suite had a washer and dryer combo perfect for cleaning clothes after a long day on the mountain(s). All TVs are internet-enabled, kitchen, refrigerator, living room, separate bedrooms and very comfortable mattresses. Located minutes away from the gondolas, excellent attentive friendly staff. Definitely staying there again on my next vacation.

Delta Marriott is very well located with nearby restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance . The front desk was efficient in check ing is in but the desk clerk couldn’t care less about assisting beyond the check-in service . When I mentioned my concern about entering the booking to my membership points , she asked for the email address but never followed it up . I had to call the hotline number several times just to ensure registering the stay. The unit we were booked in was a 2 bedroom with kitchen facilities and a washer and dryer . It had ample basic facilities but was looking tired and run down with the carpet a little worn out and the furniture soft and saggy . The lighting made the room feel even more dull and we needed outside light to brighten the room. We encountered problems in handling the brand new washer and had to call for assistance a few times . The coffee set up in the kitchen was a disappointment and didn’t quite help start the day pleasantly . The pillows were too soft and the bed was unremarkable . The most wonderful thing in the unit was the composting bin . The room was good for basics at best and felt like a tired and ageing hotel room at worst . With our room costing close to US$1000 a night , I would certainly look for a better hotel to book in that could provide better value for money .

We encountered quite a few hiccups at check in. Our room had some hygiene issues, and our key cards wouldn't work. After a long wait at check in with a tired baby, I had hoped that we could at least access a clean room. The front desk wouldn't answer our phone and expected us to go up and down ourselves to retrieve the keys. They knew we were celebrating a special occasion, and even mentioned that on the phone, yet there was no smile or congratulations the entire time we were there. In contrast, the last year when we celebrated at Westin, they upgraded our room, sent a nice card and amenities. We don't expect all that, but a clean room and working keys are a basic requirement,
We were not able to access the pool on all days as other reviewers have mentioned before. We were not given the opportunity to sign up for the pool at check in, even though it was for the day after. We had to stall our plans and wait in line for 1 hour to be told that it was all booked for the day. Thankfully, there was a cancellation and we were squeezed in that night. I see now from the reviews, that they should have made a different protocol for the sign ups as they have already received numerous complaints. There is literally one attendant with a paper sheet, and the guests have to line up at 4pm like an amusement park to access a slot, which still may not be available. It was ridiculous to see guests lines all the way outside the hotel for this. We had the misfortune of being behind a guest that took the liberty to book 15 spots for her group! When I brought it up to the front desk agent, she said she would check on it. She proceeded to run into an associate's office and close the door behind her. She never returned! After waiting for 10 minutes and leaving our number with another agent, we returned to our room expecting a call, that never came.
I was ready to put my hands up and never return to this hotel. However the front desk manager, Kim, called us to see what she can do to better our situation. She listened, and that made a huge difference. We were given a noon spot to use the pool, so she gave us a courtesy late check out. At the end of the day, no one wants to be a difficult customer. We just want our business to be valued.

I booked with my BCAA membership for a 2 bedroom suite. When I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised to be informed that I got free parking with my package (saved $32/day). I love the value as my friends booked into a "higher" star hotel for much more $ but less space (1 room with 2 queens) for a family of 4. We are a family of 4 and got to spread out between 2 bedrooms and had a full size kitchen in one of the suites plus 2 bathrooms. As there tends to be complaints about snoring, it was great with being able to close a bedroom door and the suite door of both suites. I liked being close to both Blendz and Starbucks and the Fresh Market grocery store. My son loved having access to a swimming pool. Yes there were adjustments required because of the pandemic but no big deal if you are not a high maintenance type of family; i.e. Go register for a time-slot for the pool (heated nicely) and hot tub; get tea/coffee in a brown bag in the lobby; and get free bottled water too. The staff members were always response to any of my requests. As the parking was good until 6 pm on check out day, we wondered around Whistler in a very relaxed manner. Definitely this would be one of my top choices on my next return trip to Whistler.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. It was fairly tight for our family of 4 but we appreciated how well the space was designed and how much storage there was to keep all of our ski apparel etc. organized. Having read the reviews we asked specifically to be on the quieter side of the hotel and had a room directly above the pool. This can be noisy too as the pool is open from 7am to 10pm (but people seem to swim outside of these times...) but it is not as noisy as being near the restaurants and clubs on the village walk. Something we really liked was the pool and the three hot tubs. Something I wasn't aware of was the shuttle situation. We have younger kids and its a pretty good walk for them in their ski gear. The shuttle only holds 11 people and stops running at 4pm, so when it was full at the end of the day we were out of luck and had to walk, not a huge deal but can be challenging with tired kids at the end of the day.
Both our dishwasher and tv did not work but we didn't bother asking for someone to come look at them. The location is great in terms of being near lots of nice restaurants and close to the Fresh Street Market for groceries.

Stayed here for two nights while attending an event in Whistler.
The property is located on the middle of the Village walk making it a great place to stay to explore town.
Rooms are probably smaller than expected but they have everything you need to stay comfortable.
Checkin and checkout were a breeze.
Great common spaces.
Unfortunately the pool and jacuzzi were being maintained so I couldn’t use them.
Two items lower the rate for me. First of all, the hotel still maintains the policy enacted during Covid of no room cleaning unless requested. I am not sure how this became the “standard” but since most if not all Covid restrictions are gone, I believe this is being use as an excuse to cover for obvious labor shortages across the hospitality industry.
The second one is the parking rate. I can understand why $40/day are charged in high season when parking is at premium. But in this shoulder season with the parkade used at 10%, with the high room rate paid per night, a lower rate or (why not) included parking would be my expectation.
Fortunately, $10-15 day all day parking is available within walking distance.

There are 2 restaurants within the hotel but I don't believe they serve breakfast. There's a lot of bakeries and cafes in walking distance that serve breakfast. Pangea Pod Hotel has a nice breakfast menu and it's close by
Yes 💯%
I am not sure because we travelled with a pet. If you have allergies it might be useful to call. There were multiple pets in the hotel when we went.
Have a great time in Whistler!
Once you arrive, familiarize yourself with the layout of the village in relation to the hotel, we saved a lot of precious steps on ski days by leaving/entering the hotel through a side door and crossing a parking lot instead of snaking through the village.
