We rented Unit 303 from Outpost for a 4 night stay with our family of 5 and we all had a lovely time. Check in was contactless and straight forward, the free parking and items such as toiletries, dishwasher and laundry tablets were very welcome. The kitchen was very well equipped and the condo was very comfortable. The balcony was nice to sit out and admire the amazing view. The outdoor pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and chairs around the pool. I imagine a room overlooking the pool may get a little noisy - we were on the other side though. It is an easy walk into Whistler Upper Village and there is a free shuttle bus right outside the door if you prefer. The laundry was fine, staff on the front desk were happy to change notes into the correct change. Cons - the air conditioning unit was very noisy, so we stuck with the fans at night which weren't very effective; there were no mosquito guards on the windows or patio doors; the building felt rather tired and in need of a freshen up.…
Great location and decent sized condo. Large master bedroom and bed. The carpet in the hallways need a major deep clean or replacement. Smells strongly of mildew . Otherwise a nice place. The pool and hot tub was great. Coin laundry was a bit annoying without a change machine.
Couldn’t expect anything better. Wonderful place- quick walk to the slopes - and the kitchen had ample cooking utensils and a massive fridge. laundry room was excellent and the laundry pods were provided for free. We could use our own Netflix and Disney on the tv and board games and chess were kindly provided. We loved the cloakroom right by the door to hang our coats and pop our ski boots on the tray, and the view was spectacular.
Pros - Huge patio, very well equipped kitchen, no contact check in and check out, free parking in building, spacious two bedroom unit. Cons - No air conditioner( just fans), 10 minute walk to village.
Booked with Mark at True North Property Management. He is very professional and answered all our questions during our stay. The unit is beautiful, at the back of the property and away from the road and pool. Two queen size beds, a sofa pull out and 2 bathrooms. Nice sized deck with chairs. Kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances, coffee maker, coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spices, salt and pepper plus zip lock bags, plastic wrap, etc. The building has a great pool and hot tub plus the parking has 2 level 2 EV charges. Will definitely stay here again.
Wildwood unit 310 was a great size for our break in Whistler with everything that you could need to make it home for your stay. We had a unit with a loft space which was great for extra space. The location was fantastic as in walking distance to the village (just across the road) or free shuttle ran regularly till late and took you to the base of Blackcomb or Whistler. We cooked a couple of times as nice to come back to relax in front of the gas fire in the lounge. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes and we found the locks a great help for the snowboards and skis. Thank you Kim for fast reply to any questions or help before we arrived. Amazing break!!!!
We stayed in unit 102 over Christmas weekend. The condo has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, with one room having a bunk bed. There was also a queen pull out couch in the living room. The unit was great - very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was just redone and although we did not cook, the stove, microwave, etc. looked to be new. We have stayed at 5 star hotels and although the condo does not have all of the amenities (such as room service, spa, etc.), it is a great place to stay. The location is very convenient. The stop for the free shuttle bus is right out the front door and it is just a few minute ride to Whistler Village. There is a path right across the street that is a 5 minute walk to the base of Blackcomb, where there are also bars/restaurants/stores. The path is slightly downhill, so if you are skiing you can walk across the street, hop in your skis, and ride down to the base of Blackcomb. The way back, of course, is a bit uphill, but walkable or you can take the bus. There is room off the lobby to keep your skis and snowboard. You can bring a lock to secure your skis in the rack if you would like. We left ours without a lock and they were fine. Whistler and Blackcomb are amazing, especially hitting the slopes first thing in the morning. We left the room at 8:15 am and were on lift before 8:30.…
I know each unit is different, but we were very disappointed in unit 201. On the positive side, the location is very good - a short walk or shuttle to lifts. Front desk staff was friendly. Beds were pretty comfortable. The negatives with this particular unit are that unless the TV in the living room has been updated, it was seriously the tiniest TV we've ever encountered. If relaxing and watching a movie or TV is important to you, make sure to ask if they've actually updated the TV, or you will be extremely disappointed. Also, although they say it sleeps 6 people, it is the smallest 2 bedroom condo I've ever seen, and we felt cramped with just 3 of us. The other huge issue is that the place was simply not clean at all. You could see a good layer of dust on some of the furnishings. The bathroom had grime in the corners on the floor. We would pick another place next time we go to Whistler.…
The location-fantastic! Across the street is the path that will take you to the center village! Outside-lovely! Inside lobby and receptionist-wonderful! Pool and hot tub-thumbs up! The room layout and deck in 212 are great, however the condo needs updated! Also, the mattress is old and uncomfortable and the pillows are the small and firm kind. There was one pillow that was soft and we rotated nights using it because the other ones are awful. The bedding for the mattress for the couch is one of those scratchy, rough blankets...not good! 212 needs a new kitchen soap dispenser too.
spacious apartment clean well stocked with towels, linens -- slept 5 easily no crowding-- well appointed kitchen--excellent parking-grounds well maintained- quiet for sleeping only negative no AC but fans were available
