Location? Great. Staff? The Best. Room? Large & comfortable. Didn't meet a person on the staff that wasn't eager to stop what they were doing to assist and make you the priority. The only negative is that I have to use up 200 characters to post this.
This hotel really excelled in all aspects, especially during Covid. It was spotless and disinfected regularly. It was very easy to book pool/hot tub and gym sessions that were cleaned after every use. Our room met expectations and was quiet during our entire 2 week stay. This hotel is right at the base of Whistler on the village stroll beside everything you could possibly want or need. My daughter loved the robes they supplied for your stay. This hotel has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere with extremely friendly staff that will go out of their way to make your stay as best as it can be. Will be returning here! (I actually hope they continue with booking hot tub sessions as it prevents visitors "overstaying" and thus allows everyone to enjoy!)
This was stop number 4 on our tour of Western Canada, having started out at Calgary (from the UK) - then via Banff, Jasper, Sun Peaks and eventually Whistler. Some observations: 1. A lovely hotel in the centre of the village. 2. Great location. 3. Convenient parking directly beneath the hotel, which helped with an early morning departure. 4. A comfortable bed, at the back of the hotel, which thankfully made for a good night’s sleep. 5. Pleased we were not allocated a room at the front of the hotel, as the noise coming up from the ‘Village Stroll’ would have caused some difficulty with sleeping. Overall, yes a nice hotel, but if you want the guarantee of a good night’s sleep, then insist on a room at the back!
Really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is centrally located in the Village so walking distance to all restaurants and shopping. Beautiful, modern architecture; very clean and nicely decorated rooms; friendly and efficient staff. Easy parking in and out of the hotel.
Fantastic accommodation! Comfortable bed, mountain view, nice amenities, helpful front desk, clean, quiet, conveient location. Would recommend to anyone stayimg in the Lower Village. Will definitely stay there again.
Best location and price point in Whistler Village. So great for people with limited mobility or mobility problems to be so centrally located. Dog friendly is a huge perk. Starbucks to start the day and Spag. Factory for the evening is a plus!
Great location, great accommodations. We would have thoroughly enjoyed our stay however 3 or our 5 nights were sleeps because of a group of kids running up and down the halls banging on all of the doors, waking us and our toddler. I felt like I needed a vacation from my vacation after this stay. The Crystal Lodge needs to refine their noise policy.
Perfect ski hotel. The room was clean and looked like it had been renovated not so long ago. I travelled with a friend and we had a room with 2 double beds. I was not a very spacious room, but it was a good compromise as the price per night was reasonable and the hotel is very close to the lifts. Really appreciated the ski valet service!
We stayed at Crystal Lodge because of the value and proximity to Whistler gondola. It really was a 2 min walk to the lifts. We were there for a week of summer skiing, but the same convenience could be applied for mountain biking.
I can’t comment on the value, as we booked through a travel agent and did not get individual hotel costs. However, our stay at the crystal lodge hotel was excellent. The location is wonderful and the staff were very helpful. We now just need to persuade our friends to come back for skiing!
