The Crystal Lodge Hotel garners appreciation for its central location in Whistler Village, with guests enjoying the ease of access to ski lifts and local attractions. The service at the hotel earns high marks for its friendliness and efficiency, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with visitors consistently noting the immaculate conditions. However, guests have called out the pricey parking and room rates, and some have experienced disturbances from street noise and loud AC units. While the hotel's rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness, opinions are mixed regarding their size and noise insulation.

We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Lodge. It is in the heart of the village close to the Whistler lifts and many shops and excellent restaurants. Blackcomb Gondola is about a 15 minute walk away. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and cozy fireplace. The housekeeping staff is really friendly and will help in any way they can to make your stay more comfortable. The village streets are lively until around 11pm or midnight. Luckily, Crystal Lodge puts ear plugs in the nightstand if the noise is bothersome. I am a light sleeper but I never needed them. Our room also had a kitchenette which was handy for preparing quick meals, snacks, and storing and reheating leftovers. The grocery store is nearby if you need to stock up.

A great hotel in a great location. The hotel is literally situated in the midst of all the action. The staff are very helpful and efficient in dealing with requests. We had two rooms which were both more than adequate for our 4 night stay. The rooms had all the amenities one would need for a pleasant stay plus the location of a laundry room on each floor helps. The only issue we had was with the AC unit which was very noisy. Our rooms were facing the Main Street in Whistler but we were not affected by the noise. Valet parking was an added bonus at $35 a night…Overall a great stay at a very good hotel and we would have no hesitancy in staying here if we ever came to Whistler again…

Good evening. Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. It is great to see that you enjoyed your stay at The Crystal. I do apologize that you were affected by the noise of the village stroll late into the night, unfortunately being in the centre of the village does have its pros and cons! If you choose to stay with us again, we would be more than happy to put you on the quieter side of the hotel, facing away from the village if requested. We were disappointed to learn about your experience with parking. For this we would like to apologize. Our parking cost is actually on par with the other hotels in Whistler, in most cases it is cheaper. I will however pass on your feedback to our leadership team. I hope you will come back and see us again soon. Thank you again for taking the time to complete the review. We appreciate your loyalty to the Crystal Lodge. Kind regards, Elena Seeber, Manager on Duty, Crystal Lodge

We'll start by saying we loved this hotel! It was situated right in the middle of the village which on a weekday was probably great but we had 2 nights here on a Saturday and Sunday. The room was adequate although being in the middle of the village meant it was very noisy on Saturday night! We did joke when we saw the ear plugs in the drawer next to the bed that it wasn't a good sign! Sunday night was better and we did get a good nights sleep!
We had a fridge, coffee machine and kettle in the room which was very nice and we asked for some English Breakfast tea to be left and this was duly done.
We used the outside pool which was lovely and warm and my husband used the sauna which he said was also lovely.
The laundry was a great bonus to have and we made the most of getting all our washing upto date.
All in all the room was great, apart from the noise, but we know this is something that you have to expect in a party town. The shops and restaurants around the hotel were great to pick up a few souvenirs on our travels.
If you drive you need to be aware that you need to pay $25 a day to park in the car park, not something that we found at all hotels on our 2 week road trip.

The hotel itself is really nice with lots of amenities and an unbeatable location just a few steps from the lift and all of the village amenities. We booked pretty far in advance and it felt like a great value all things considered. The room, while relatively newly updated was small and pretty basic. It had very little space for storage.

The hotel itself is quite nice with lots of amenities. The central location is amazing. 2 minute walk to the lift and central to all the shops and restaurants in the village. The room felt relatively freshly renovated and overall we felt the Crystal Lodge was a good value. The room was basic and small, lacking in space to store clothes or room to maneuver. But, hey, ideally you are just sleeping in your room so not a big deal. We did like the glove and boot drying racks although probably two per floor would have been better.

I will say the trade off for the central location is that it's just busy. The alley behind the hotel (low number even rooms overlook the alley) is constant garbage and delivery trucks. The heavy windows block this out but our room was consistently hot so we often had the windows open to keep it comfy. Odd numbered rooms look over the village stroll and then you get revellers to the wee hours.

Dear schwung, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review of your recent stay at Crystal Lodge. We’re thrilled that our prime location and wide array of amenities contributed to your enjoyment. Being just steps away from the lifts and surrounded by Whistler’s shops and restaurants is something we’re very proud of, and we’re glad it added convenience to your visit. We appreciate your remarks about the room design. While we strive to provide a cozy and functional space, we understand that storage can sometimes feel limited when managing ski gear. Your suggestion for additional glove and boot dryers is fantastic, and we’ll consider it as we explore improvements to enhance the comfort of our guests. As you mentioned, being in the heart of Whistler Village means guests are close to all the action. While our soundproof windows aim to minimize disruptions, we understand that finding a balance between ventilation and quietness can be tricky at times. Your observations are invaluable, and we’ll share them with our team as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. Thank you again for choosing Crystal Lodge for your trip. We hope to welcome you back for another visit and look forward to being a part of your Whistler adventures in the future! Warm regards, Andrew Weir Director of Operations Crystal Lodge

Really enjoyed our stay at the Crystal Lodge. Parking was convenient ($29), check-in was easy, room was spotless and offered everything you needed. Faulty iron was replaced quickly. It was also great to use the laundry facilities. Hotel is nicely situated as well. Highly recommended.

After a long drive from Kamloops through very smoky mountains due to local fires and a fabulous thunderstorm, we arrived in Whistler. We found the hotel ok and parked for the 15 minutes allowed at the reception area to enable us to check in. The service was great and check-in was very quick. The staff were very helpful with any information we required.

Having never visited Whistler before, we had no idea about what was best for parking so opted for the hotel’s underground parking ($25 plus taxes per night). The hotel itself is centrally located on the Village Stroll so nowhere is too far to walk with shops and restaurants nearby.

We were allocated room 232, a deluxe king studio which had a balcony overlooking the reception area at the back of the hotel and the pool.

The room was a very good size for our 2 night visit, very modern, clean and had everything we needed, including a small wet bar area with a microwave and a fridge to keep water etc cold. There were plenty of USB ports and sockets to charge devices, including some by the side of the bed.

The air con was very efficient as the weather was very warm when we were there in mid July.

For location, this hotel will certainly take some beating.

We stayed in a one bedroom with loft suite and loved it! You walk through the door to a spacious corridor with two big wardrobes.

The main bedroom has the wow factor, with a high ceiling and massive comfy bed. The living room is spacious and the kitchen has what you need to prepare simple meals. Dishwasher tablets and dishcloths are included.
The loft room is a reasonable size and there's a fan up there (it does get a little warm as the air con doesn't seem to get up there).

Both bathrooms are great.

The setting of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of town. No need to drive anywhere.

We were worried about parking but had no problem, despite their being a big event on.

This was our favourite hotel during our two week stay in Canada. Would love to return.

We can’t rate the staff and location highly enough. Just perfectly situated in the village heart. Close to walk to everything. Queen Studio room was perfect balance between price and size for our family of 5 (kids 10/13/15). Staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everyone was friendly, all had a ‘can do’ attitude and I just can’t thank them enough for how much of a difference it made to our holiday. They even let us store and bags for the day and then freshen up in the sauna area after coming off the slopes and heading to the airport for a 14 hr flight home. Made ALL the difference and the perfect end to a fantastic holiday and stay! You can’t go wrong with Crystal Lodge. We will be back.

We decided my wife and I to do a last minute sleepover at Whistler. Crystal Lodge was great to accommodate CAA member which give us a great value price. Recommend the hotel for their location. The underground parking is challenging, but a nice feature for $29 and you can use the valet for $35. Highly Recommended!
