Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

The Pinnacle Hotel Whistler garners appreciation for its prime location nestled close to the village, with guests enjoying the added perks of in-room jacuzzis and kitchen amenities. While the hotel's value is recognized by many, the parking fees have left some visitors feeling pinched. Cleanliness is a strong suit, although a few travelers have suggested that updates are in order. The service staff receives kudos for their accommodating nature, and while the atmosphere is largely described as cozy, a refresh in decor is a recurring theme.

Good value with restaurants and shopping close by, no issues and staff are friendly.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel and check in was easy. Location is central and will definitely stay there again. Good overall experience.

This hotel gives good bang for your buck. We loved the in suite jacuzzi and the kitchen allowed us to cook all our own meals. I really appreciated the steps they took to deal with COVID such as giving out disposable dishes and cutlery for all the guests. The location is in the village and we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go?

Bring your own towels, cooking pans & plates, ice cube box ,air freshner (MUST) . Spa & bed is almost next to each other. Pool is closed due to covid and also you might not be able to see which room suits you. It will be assigned to you .Better choose kings size if you are a couple

Dear qadiridrees, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent stay at our hotel. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with some aspects of your experience. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of towels, cooking utensils, ice cube box (there is an ice machine in the lobby) and air freshener in your room. We strive to provide our guests with comfortable and well-equipped accommodations, and we will work on improving our inventory and quality control. We also regret that you were not able to choose your preferred room type or enjoy our pool facilities due to the covid-19 restrictions. All of our rooms have queen size beds, no king beds are available. We appreciate your valuable feedback and we hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back and exceed your expectations. Sincerely, The Hotel Management

They at least need new mattresses and pillows for their hotel. They should provide water and toothpaste in the room because no one like to pay $2-$4 for just a small (travel) toothpaste. Also, should ask the staff to be in time so that everything is accessible for the guests.

The hotel is doing its best in Covid times to provide a safe experience. The rooms are getting a little dated but are perfectly functional and clean. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the in room jacuzzi tub as one does not like to use a communal hottub during a pandemic. The kitchen was well kitted out and the complimentary bottle of wine (with pinnacle club free membership) was a nice touch. This is a good place to stay especially if your main focus is on the skiing and going out for a nice dinner. You could cook in the room but we kept it to breakfast.

Myself, husband and dog loved staying at this hotel. We spent the Easter weekend there, it's a great location, the shops are literally a 2 minute walk away. The view of the mountains was stunning and the in room hot tub was a dream. The room was very clean and we heard no noise from other guests whilst in our room. The bed was great, very comfortable, only slight niggle was the pillows are quite large compared to what i have at home so that took a little getting used to. The kitchen was well equipped for all out cooking and coffee needs and the fridge/freezer was very clean.

We chose the Pinnacle Hotel Whistler as a destination for my 60th birthday, and we truly enjoyed every minute! The hotel is steps from the Village Centre, but on the edge so it's a very quiet location.
The rooms are spacious and have everything available, mostly by asking for it at the front desk, due to Covid restrictions. We were upgraded to a 1-bedroom which was very much welcomed, especially since it gave us room for luggage, and doubled as a changing-room. I would strongly recommend paying for a 4th floor (top floor) room because the cathedral ceilings are stunning, and somewhat romantic, especially when relaxing in the oversized jacuzzi tub with your loved one. We'll be back!

The rate we paid on August 31st was reasonable, but on September 1st the rate jumped up by over $165 (including taxes) and we felt that the disappointing amenities just didn't warrant the higher rate. I understand supply and demand and seasonal pricing, but if you're going to charge premium rates you have got to offer better amenities. The fitness equipment consists of one treadmill and one elliptical machine. There are only two bicycles available, so you had better get up and out early. The gas fireplace listed as an amenity didn't work because the gas was turned off. There was no info in the lobby or the room about the local attractions, services or restaurants. The cheap bed sheets were crinkly and stiff and rather uncomfortable.
The staff were all very pleasant and tried to be as helpful as they could, but they had to make excuses for the lack of amenities that are standard in other three star hotels. The location is great and it's a good looking building, but at $723 (including $24 per night for parking) for two nights in what we thought was a pretty unremarkable hotel, the value just isn't there.

We enjoyed our three days at the Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler. We had a room with a kitchen but due to the pandemic we used plastic cutlery which the hotel provided. Everything was fine and the front desk staff were also always helpful and obliging.

Location was perfect
Rooms and hotel decor is very outdated
Underground parking was full and very tight parking spots. We ended up parking at Library opposite the hotel and it was also cheaper than hotel parking
Elevators takes forever
Pool, fitness room and hot tub is not inside of hotel. Have to walk out of hotel and past restaurant to get to it
