Really loved the room. Disappointed the fireplace wasn’t up and running. Couldn’t use our CAA discount. But otherwise very very great place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and great location.
This hotel was in a great location, close to the village, restaurant and bars. Our room was clean and had a perfect little kitchen to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. We never made use of it however. Beds were actually very comfortable too. Bathroom was a little small but still sufficient.
The room decor and furnishing need updating as they are stuck in the 80’s. The walls are very thin and you can hear noise in all directions. The kitchens are stocked to make a basic meal and our stovetop only had 2 out of the 4 elements working. The cleaner had her mask under her chin everytime we saw her!! It is located very close to the village stroll.
Had numerous trips to Vancouver and finally decided to visit Whistler. Hotel is in a perfect location. Central location on edge of the village but very quiet. Friendly and polite staff. Only downside was rooms were not cleaned during our stay. This was blamed on covid. However we stayed in other hotels during our trip and rooms were cleaned daily, so think it was more of a cost cutting issue, rather than covid.
It was a good overall experience. We liked the fact that the room was only cleaned when we specifically requested it and that made us feel more rested and in control of our personal time. The front desk staff was very good.
