Enjoyed our stay here as it was a great location, close to everything, rooms were clean and beds comfy, kitchen well equipped and very pet friendly most importantly for us traveling with our senior dog
Our family had been eagerly awaiting our time in Whistler and hotel experience. We wanted a beautiful and relaxing place to vacation as a family of 4 and the Summit Lodge met all of our expectations. We loved the modern/funky art and design from the lobby to the hotel rooms. The attention to detail in things like the Malin & Goetz body care products, the care for owners dogs, the fish at the front desk and joke of the day which our girls loved, the fun background music and even the hotel scent altogether created a positive and fun overall vibe. The staff were friendly in every area of the hotel and it was evident they worked hard to keep the hotel clean and comfortable. We especially loved the pool area as a family. After fun adventure we spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub which made the time extra fun for our kids, especially since the weather has been incredible and hot. We purposely chose a hotel with a kitchenette so we would have the option to prepare some of our own food, and the one in our room was clean and had everything we needed. Our only disappointment was the room had a small balcony that could sit two people only, but it had a gorgeous mountain view which we appreciated for sitting on to have a coffee or end of day drink. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is steps to the village olympic park, the Fresh St Market, great coffee at Mount Currie and delicious Peaked Pies. You are as close as you need to be without being directly in the main corridor of the village stroll. Parking was easy under the hotel for$21 a day which is pricey but worth not having to move your car daily. Overall we would highly recommend the Summit Lodge to anyone traveling to Whistler who appreciates a great hotel experience.…
Excellent two nights stay! Centrally located, parking, friendly staff, large and clean room. The room had an iPad in to use, which was a different touch. Did not get around to using the facilities, but the pool and hot tub looked great. After coming back from a 15 mile hike, there was a free sweets stand at reception, which was a lovely treat / very much needed! Highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel.
Hands down the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed. Dog bowls, treats, towels and huge fluffy dog beds. They were unbelievable just so great The room was comfy and well furnished with a small balcony
The room was well equipped with ac and kitchenette. Very conveniently situated. Breakfast available around the Hotel. There was a great cafe that did a really good breakfast at a reasonable price but cash only. We had to pay extra for parking in a secure place. Would recommend.
Good location. Funky and comfortable rooms with mini kitchen. No sitting chairs but comfortable bed. Very quiet after 10pm. Small balcony. Many nice bars and restaurants in the area. Secure underground parking. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Loved Whistler in the late summer.
Design, room set up and staff were fantastic!! Laura and Ellie at the front desk were fabulous, funny and just overall great hosts.Def stay again. Great breakfast restaurant on site called Elements that has the best Frittata.
Loved this hotel! Not only was the location great, literally a 15 minute walk to just about everything in The Village, but the room was well appointed and comfortable. Our room had a street view but you could clearly see the mountain from the small but functional balcony (that we put to use daily). The kitchenette had everything you needed to make a simple breakfast with the two burners, a microwave and small fridge in addition to the plates, silverware, pots/pans, cups and mugs....it served us well. There is a one cup coffee maker and coffee disks (for lack of a better description), that worked great for the first cup of morning coffee. The pool area also has a nice seating area right next to it, came in handy for when you wanted to hang outside a bit longer to enjoy the mountain weather. We would definitely return to this hotel, but next time for a winter vacation.…
Our stay here was nice - the property is well maintained and the staff are friendly. We brought our puppy and it was great that he could join us for a family holiday. We stayed in a studio room with a king bed and pullout. The room was clean and spacious with lots of room for our dog crate. The location is great and convenient (close to the grocery store and village amenities). My one complaint was that the parking stalls were VERY narrow and basically meant any spaces next to a pole were unusable for our minivan...especially if a large truck was taking up a middle space. We had to park down the street at the library which had a maximum stay of 24hrs. This meant we had to move the car to the day lots for our second night. This made checkout very inconvenient - especially when traveling with young children (and a puppy!). One other thing I didn't like was when the room across the hall was being cleaned (door was open), I noticed a toilet brush and a sponge in the ice bucket. I can only hope that ice bucket wasn't in circulation for it's intended purpose. I'm glad I didn't get any ice on this visit. We would stay here again but will be sure to stay away from the ice.…
We stayed for 2 nights. It is a very niceplace which is excellent in cleanliness. The location is great too and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended for stay in whistler. Thanks
