The Adara Hotel is frequently lauded for its excellent location, nestled close to gondolas and village attractions, making it a hit with those looking to explore. The accommodations are widely regarded as spacious, clean, and modern, though occasional calls for updates are noted. While the amenities and cleanliness receive high marks for adding comfort to stays, some visitors have experienced issues with noise and missing conveniences. The staff's warm and efficient service often stands out, despite sporadic lapses at check-in. However, the hotel's value proposition has faced criticism, with some guests finding the pricing steep relative to the offered amenities.

I arrived yesterday to Adara hotel and I don’t want to leave! It is a really comfortable hotel whit all what you need for an amazing holiday in Whistler.
The hotel was spotless and my room was very spacious and clean with a lovely view to the mountains from the bed.
It had a kitchen with a little fridge and a microwave so in case you do not want to eat everyday outside, it is very convenience. But if you do not have one in the room, you have also another kitchen downstairs in the common areas for everyone to use.
There is a bar also in the hotel with a nice terrace and Live music on Mondays. I arrived on Monday, that’s why I know hahaa
The pool area is also very nice to chill and even though it was a bit chilly outside, the water was so warm.
I love also the lemon water at the lobby, after a hike day it is very nice to have that when you arrived to your accommodation 😊
One of the things that I love the most was the natural soap and shampoo dispensers at the shower and the coffee from my favorite local coffee company of the area. I really appreciate when a hotel takes care of these details, because they are not the cheap and make your stay more pleasant.
I can’t finish without mentioned how nice is the staff, always willing to help you and the location is just perfect, just around the corner from the village center and very close to the Gondolas which take you to Peak 2 peak.

If I ever come back to Whistler, I have no doubt I would stay here again!

With hotels in Whistler over Christmas being so incredibly overpriced, we chose this one with decent reviews and on the lower $ side compared with the fairmont. Usually travelling at a relatively high standard of hotel, we were slightly nervous about what we would find, but were very pleasantly surprised. It wasnt overly special, however it was clean, with decent bathrooms, a nice lobby fireplace and the front counter staff were just lovely. They were very upfront about the fact that their hotel is in a noisy area, but provided every room with a white noise machine as well as trays of earplugs outside the elevators should you need. We then found all this unnecessary as it wasnt loud at all, even on Christmas Eve.

Thank you Adara hotel for hosting my team. There is one suite with a kitchen where we were able to make all of our meals and save from eating out every night, which is terribly expensive in Whistler. All the staff were always ready to help and dedicated to making sure everyone felt comfortable. The location of the Adara is also prime as it is just a short walk to the gondola and there is access to the village as soon as you step out of the hotel.

Great hotel, love the location the staff were awesome. Could use a little bit of renovations. Other than that no complaints. Could get the front desk staff or anyone else to come every so often to check on the pool as the trees surrounding the area cause some stuff to get into the pool.

There is rock music with bass & drums vibrating until 2 am from a bar called Buffalo Bill’s beneath some rooms. They need to warn customers and move them to another room or offer a discount. The experience was unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for the rates we paid. We had been previous customers and were in rooms in the past without the noise.

The hotel is very clean and nicely appointed. The room (1br) was lovely (we had a 3rd floor room with a high-vaulted ceiling. I noticed that there is a (golf) driving range and practice facility directly across from the hotel which I will certainly use when we stay during golf season. The bathroom was really nice with a rainfall shower plus a hand held shower wand... nice touch. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely outstanding. First-class food and service and mind-blowing prices (3 course dinner for $40). Every bite was simply wonderful... no matter what.. you need to try this place!!!

Given this property is located in the village, we felt the price/night is the best value in Whistler

If the staff were friendlier it would be top notch... still a great place to stay... and sort of pet friendly. Our extremely well-behaved dog was no problem there and we enjoyed our stay... if your dog is less well behaved you'd have a massive issue here I think. The staff were not really pet friendly, in fact the front desk / lobby staff were quite unfriendly in pretty much every way, they didn't even crack a smile at our cutie and there was no extras for pets even though they charged us $15/night extra for "extra cleaning" when they were not cleaning during our stay only at the end of our three night stay "because of covid". So really they charged us an extra $45 "pet extra clean" to clean the room once because we had a pet there. I guess they had to clean up after our non-shedding, super clean, dog three times during the one cleaning when we left.

Hello StellaSchmidt1967, Thank you for your review and staying with is at te Adara Hotel. I am sorry you felt you were not treated over and above your expections with respect to our pet friendly service. I will be looking into this when I return from Vacation. After reviewing this I felt a priority to respond even thought I am away on holidays. We pride ourselfs on being the best pet friendly hotel in Whistler. In fact, you will notice from many of our ads and social media posts there are dogs in many of the photo's. One of those dogs is mine! I will be reviewing your concerns with the staff and look forward to discuss this with you further upon my return. My contact information is doug@adarahotel.com and contact phone is 604-905-4009. Very close to the Whistler gondolas and very clean and nice hotel
In the afternoon at the reception they give you tea and/or coffee with some fruits and very delicious cookies.
They have a room so you can store your skis and you don't have to take them up to the room.

The Adara has a great location in Whistler Village, just next tot he conference center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It can be a bit loud at night, so there are earplugs provided. The pool was closed when I was there, which was unfortunate as it was more the 30 degrees outside, however the rooms offered a cool reprieve from the heat with A/C. There were no hangers in my room and the fellow at the front desk did not have any when I inquired. French press for coffee in your room with locally sourced coffee which provided a delicious cup of coffee in the mornings too.

Simon and the team were fabulous when my family came to stay!

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and they even had a little surprise treat waiting for us in the room, which set the tone for an amazing stay.

The room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities we could need. The views from our balcony were breathtaking, and it was clear that every detail in the room was thoughtfully planned for comfort and style. The beds were super comfy, and after full days of exploring, it was a delight to come back to such a cozy retreat.
