Stayed here for one night - we arrived on the first day of the snow season! The hotel is in a brilliant location (quite central to the town centre) and all other attractions. Rooms have great views of the mountains and the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be back! Highly recommend dinner at the Keg and at Earls.
Arrived on a day when it was chucking rain all day! The check-in went swiftly and they gave us umbrellas when we went out which helped as it was such a wet day outside but we tried to make the most of it. The room is big and comfortable. I really enjoyed the fact that you can re-fill your bottle with filtered or sparkling water and I forgot to ask the hotel is they sell the bottle, as I liked the shape and size of it! The hotel felt luxurious whilst still being quite affordable. It didn't include breakfast unfortunately. It did have a coffee maker (coffee itself wasn't that great) and a fridge so we had our own granola and just brought some milk locally. We took advantage of the hot tub and sauna, but not for too long as it meant you have to return to the corridor - being mindful that this corridor also houses the kitchen and bar so there were waiters and cooks. That did make me uncomfortable as I felt that the mix wasn't really acceptable from various aspects like Health & Safety. this should be in a separated area. Plus there weren't any dressing gowns provided in our bedrooms so luckily I wore all my clothes until I reached the changing room. You also needed to have bring a lock as there weren't any on the lockers so I had to carry my clothes to the hottub room. The hotel is slightly tucked away so it's not in a crowded, noisy area but close enough to access all the shops, restaurants etc.…
The location is a bit away from the main areas so it was nice and quiet and still easy to get to. The staff went out of their way to assist us in multiple ways and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and overall a fantastic experience at a very reasonable cost. Will stay there again next time.
We stayed overnight September 21st and as luck would have it we got pour room a little early to drop off our luggage. The room was (as shown and described) very clean and comfortable. Checking in was a breeze and we also got a great recommentation for our supper. Will stay there next time we are in town
The Listel has a great central location but is not on the main drag which means the surroundings are relatively quiet. Clean room and friendly staff but the property is now very dated in terms of decor and style. However, in the meantime, it does represent good value for money which could change following an upgrade!
Good accommodation overall. Room we had was clean, though the overall look can use a bit of modernization (new furniture and carpet color would help). Beds, sheets and pillows are comfy. There's a fridge but didn't have a microwave. Plenty of space for my a family of 3. There's a room by the elevators specifically for the ice machine as well as filtered water and sparkling water. Lobby is ok, a little small, and a bit dark. They have a desk across from check-in counter that has free coffee in the mornings and water throughout the day. Check-in is at 4:00 PM, but if you arrive early, they can take your luggage and store them in a locked storage room until your room is ready. That way, you can explore the village freely or even ride the gondolas. Speaking of the village, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location. It is very close to the village. On Google Maps, it may seem like you have to go around to Whistler Way and to Village Green loop to get to the hotel, but there's a couple of shortcuts you can take. The back alley through Adara Hotel (right across), passing a bike shop, will take you to Golfer's Approach and closer to the Bus Loop on Gateway Drive. The shortcut through Crystal Lodge, passing by Lululemon will land you at Village Stroll, which is closer to the base of the Whistler Mountain Gondolas and ski lifts. I'd stay here again if we were to go back to Whistler.…
The Great: Great location. Right in the village! Can’t beat that. We got a really good price booked ahead so that was good. Air conditioning is A++ The Good: Of all the older hotels I’ve stayed in, this one does the best at making attempts at being more modern or including outside the box items. My favourite thing was the sparkling or still water dispensers on the 3rd floor. The shampoo/conditioner were good. I could forgo bringing mine for this stuff. That isn’t always the case. The Ok: The shower water pressure wasn’t overly powerful. We came in late at night (around 9pm) and the underground parking was scarce.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great modern hotel, in a great location. Stayed here for 2 nights before we joined our Alaskan cruise, then on our return for another 2 nights. Great welcome, room available straight away and wow was we not disappointed, with an amazing view of Coal Harbour and the spacious room, very well equipped with everything you will need. Also reception staff, were very well informed with great recommendations , places to go and places to eat. We would like to personally thank Alison, for making our40th wedding anniversary so special, and so glad we chose the Listel Hotel. Thank you Shirley & Paul Williams
