Hotel's Favourite
This Resort has it all with the outdoor pool and tubs, fantasic location in the Village, the service is outstanding. The food in the pub bar is amazing have the wings for sure. The staff are so welcoming. The place is immaculate and easy for parking and walking. The driving range across the road, steps to the Gondola. The hotel and its rooms are lovely. However, I would suggest eating somewhere in the village. Eggs Benedict should have poached eggs, not hard boiled, and you should not need to "saw" your waffles in order to eat them. Wait staff at breakfast were less than friendly. We felt like we were inconveniencing them when we simply asked for coffee.

(Disclaimer - our stay was paid for with loyalty points) We stayed here for about 5 nights on a recent trip. All told, it was a decent base for exploring the region. The location is pretty good - only a couple of minutes' walk from the middle of Whistler, but still surprisingly quiet, given how busy the town centre can be. Our room was on the ground floor, and one of the few in the hotel with a kitchenette. That made it larger than most rooms, and we certainly had plenty of space. The room was also very clean - at least inside. The only annoying thing was that, despite having facilities for preparing a meal, the room only had one chair and no table. There were 2 tables and a chair in a small outside area, but unlike the room they were very grubby. Add the gloomy and uninviting feel to the space, and we decided that we didn't want to be forced to eat out there. We managed, through reception, to get a second chair, but no table - we ended up eating off the desk, which worked but wasn't ideal. The bathroom was OK - not exactly modern or large, but fit for purpose, and with good water pressure in the shower. Laying aside that glitch with the table, we found the staff to be uniformly friendly and helpful. Despite the large size of the hotel, the reception was always well enough staffed that we got seen very quickly. Also, when we spoke to them, the staff were friendly, efficient, and willing to offer helpful and honest advice. We didn't have much to do with the concierge team, but they seemed to have the same attitude. We didn't use the bar or restaurant, so can't comment on these. The racket coming from the pool table in the bar practically every time we walked by was enough to ensure that we were never going in there ! All, in all, we were pleasantly surprised by the Hilton Whistler. Yes, it's a big chain hotel in a tourist town, and yes, it wasn't perfect, but the location, and the good service, was better than I would have expected. Recommended.…

We stayed for 4 nights with a dog. The room rate and dog rate were very reasonable compared to the Westin - where we usually stayed. It was a studio with balcony, a full kitchen and really nice. Hilton allows members to pick their rooms and this is where I went wrong as I didn’t know the layout of the hotel. North tower with no view and over the service entrance. The bed was very comfortable. I had no interaction with any hotel staff as Hilton allows you to do everything remotely. Some might find it a bonus but I don’t mind meeting the people who work there!

The room was comfortable and well decorated. The bed and couches were good quality and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean spacious and well appointed. The pool and spa and gym are very good and clean and well stocked. The hotel staff are well trained in hospitality services

We took advantage of Whistler.com's "Suite Secrets" to get a king room with a kitchenette. What a fabulous deal. We really took advantage of the kitchenette for breakfast and dinner (purchasing the most delicious mushrooms and fresh eggs at nearby North Arm Farms) and had a blast at the on-site Stanley Bar (the expresso martinis were fabulous). Highly recommend this Hilton.

Hilton whistler has been our go to hotel in whistler for the past decade. We love the pool and the location and generally the service has been on point. This time however we experienced a customer service that didn't seem on par with the Hilton brand. Our last night we came down to use the hot tub and we noticed a group of 6 people were occupying the indoor hottub and had snuck in outside drinks and were being roudy. After waiting 1.5 hours for them to leave we finally notified the evening manager and told him what was happening. He basically told us they weren't doing anything wrong and that he was not going to ask them to leave and he asked us to confront them ourselves if we wanted to. It's interesting how sneaking in alcohol and not being courteous towards sharing the facilities with other guests is considered acceptable. This experience has been dissapointing and will most Likely be staying at another whistler hotel in the future. …

I loved using Hilton's mobile app to access parking then going straight to our room. Very convenient and time saving. Room was fabulous as always. Extremely clean. I loved having housekeeping come every day for top-up of necessities. Pool was wonderful (never too busy) and the gym was very useful. We will be back in August. :)
