I have stayed at Lost Lake Lodge 7 times and each time I have totally enjoyed my experience. It is near the end of Blackcomb Way and is nestled in a very treed area, quiet and peaceful. In the summer it is a short walk to Lost Lake and the surrounding park land, walking paths and bike trails. The suites are very comfortable, clean, and have all the amenities one needs away from home. The fitness centre has exercise bikes and other equipment that are in good shape and the pool and hot tub are kept in pristine condition. The fact that the bus stop is right at the end of the driveway, and there are frequent, no charge shuttle buses all season long makes having a car in Whistler unnecessary. In the winter, there is a covered bus stop close to the property if you don't wish to stand in the exposed stop area at the end of the drive.
Most importantly for me Aaron MoQuin, the property manager and the rest of the staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. I frequently come to Whistler by myself and it feels safe and almost like coming home knowing that if I didn't show myself around the place for a day, I would be missed and Aaron or his staff would check up on me!

I just want to say thank you to Kunal at the front desk who was polite as well as helpful for any questions we had. We were able to check in early, the room we got was great some minor housekeeping details that we were able to problem solve without issue. The room came with lots of cooking utensils, bowls, and pots and pans, coffee filter and some sugar packets but you do need to bring your own salt and pepper as well as purchase coffee to make a pot a suggestion would be to maybe get keurig machines for the suits. We also had a cabinet full of family games that we could pick from. The shuttle to town was free and easy to get, the parking was $25 a night so plan for that. The pool was heated to 85 and the hot tub was nice and warm. We had no issues with the passcode numbers and liked this as we did not need to remember a key that we could lose or forget. I am excited to book again soon and would highly recommend the Lost Lake Lodge.

If you need a day off skiing then this a great thing to do. You need to rent snowshoes $20 (unless you have your own) and a day pass which is about $11. There are many trails you can walk and you could spend the whole day if you want. We did just the valley trail to Lost Lake. Took just over an hour. Great views of the lake and many photo opportunities. The trails are reasonably strenuous so if doing the longer trails would recommend taking some water. The lodge has hot drinks and snacks.

Our family recently stayed for a weekend at Lost Lake Lodge as our kids had a ski event to attend and we were looking for a location within close proximity to the central Whistler Village yet far away enough for peace and quiet away from the very busy central village. We were impressed with the amenities provided on site to the cleanliness of the unit. Everything at check in was thoroughly explained from parking to security codes to access our room and all common areas. We were missing an extra blanket for the kids and the front desk were very quick in providing one. What impressed us the most was the excellent customer service from the Guest Services Manager Kelly in helping us with our reservation details to Sean at the front desk. We were also impressed with all the hand sanitizer stations and signage everywhere reminding guests about the safety protocols in the Lodge which put our minds at ease knowing that the Lodge staff were taking COVID safety protocols seriously. The staff were always quick in their response times and went out of their way to help us with each of our questions. The location at first seemed like it was far away from the central Village but in reality it was only a 5 minute drive for a quick drop off and the free bus shuttle stopped right in front of the lodge and only took approx. 10minutes to get to the central bus loop in the village and the same time to get back. The bus shuttle ran every 10 minutes which really made it an easy decision to not drive the car each time to drop our kids off for their ski events. We will definitely be back again! The one thing I will suggest is that if you were to drive up with an oversize vehicle or larger SUV with a storage rack please keep in mind their parking stalls are very small. It was not a hindrance to our stay at all but affects how often you decide to use your car once you manage to park your car. If you have a smaller vehicle it's a non-issue. Otherwise a great lodge to stay at and we will definitely be back again!

We picked Lost Lake Lodge as it was advertised as being a 10 minute walk from the village. This was false advertisement as it was at least 20 minutes away. When we checked into the suite, we noticed that it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We found hair on the toilet seats, long hair on the towels, blood stains on the bed sheets, dirty kitchen counter and dirty carpet. We complained to the front reception who was about to close. They had no solution for us and only gave us 5 Lysol wipes to clean as there were no cleaning supplies. We spent the first few hours of this trip checking in and cleaning. The extra sheets and pillows in the ottoman also hadn’t been washed. There was hair and stains all over. We requested a discount and were told they would only give us a small portion of the cleaning fee which is nothing compared to the time spent cleaning the place when it was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. I would NOT recommend this place especially for the amount we paid per night and how old the place is. It was also difficult to find parking as the stalls were so small so cars were taking up multiple spots.

The rooms were overall nice, clean, and functional and our room had a kitchen and laundry machine included. However, there were multiple issues with the room and the hotel itself. The air conditioning was not very functional in our room and it was difficult to sleep in. The front desk closes at 5 pm while other hotels in the area are open until much later and made checking in much difficult. As well, there were many additional fees than what was originally listed on the Whistler tourist websites that I have not come across at other hotels (the original listed price was 170 per night and ended up being 235). Being new to BC, I didn't realize this wasn't common until after booking. It's a decent choice with some good trails near by but there is likely better options out there.

Don't waste your money on this place!

The room was dirty as seen in the photos. Just look at the toilet! There was no useable cookware. Imagine one warped and rusted frying pan with all the non stick scrapped off. The fridge was so dirty we couldn't use it. Everything was greasy and unclean.

The deadbolt on the door was fixed to the finishing only which no surprise gave way when my 5 year old opened the door. This room was clearly unsafe as we were unable to properly lock the door.

I asked to change rooms and got no response. I asked for a refund and got no response. I reported the door frame and was told maintenance would come by to fix it. To top it all off one week later they charged $350 extra to my credit card saying I made damage to the fridge (which we didn't use) and the doorframe.

Honestly, anyplace else would have been better!!! Including the parking I paid $1000 CAD for 2 nights in this total dump! Don't Book In Here!!!!!! It's a run down and trying to scam you!

Hi 197arianner - thanks for your candid feedback. We regret to hear that you found the room you stayed in to be lackluster. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests and we assure you this is an outlier as to what our visitors usually experience. Thanks for bringing this to our attention here - we'd love to welcome you back for another stay sometime soon so we can change your outlook on the resort.

We have stayed at many places in Whistler and this Has to be the worst one we’ve ever stayed in. The first room we checked in to was so out dated we wanted another room. We found one that was in better shape but better is a bit misleading. Unit 526. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor. The TV must’ve been the one that GeorgeWashington used. It was 4 inches thick and had some gizmo attached to it from Motorola that said HDMI and then had a shaw remote. Guess what? We could not even get the sucker working at all. The fireplace worked for five minutes. The bathtub had mould all around it. When I stepped on the deck outside I was afraid my foot was going to go through the deck and then my family found the same thing in the second bedroom on the main floor. It was so soft It was like it was rotted.

The outdoor furniture was 100 years old.

we are not a bunch of complainers We just wanted to tell you that you best stay away from this place if you would really like a nice comfortable stay. There are many very nice places in Whistler but unfortunately this is not one of them

It feels like no one cares about the unit we stayed in, and it suffers from years of neglect (Unit 425). On the plus side, the two bedroom provided shelter and a functioning toaster and coffee maker. The negatives are a laundry list of neglect: Vacasa Wifi is spotty and drops all the time, the doors all squeak, the pillows are flat, the dishwasher rack is missing two wheels, the thermostats have no numbers so you have to guess, the bathroom fans dont vent, lampshades have holes and are hastily taped, the furniture looks like if came from a frat house. Everything is 20 years old. Vacasa manages the unit and will take 3 days to attempt to remedy anything. Beware the parking gate on P1. The keypad is 30m from the gate itself, and its programmed to close after 60s and crush anything beneath it (like my car, but easily a human). Vacasa assures me this is safe and totally to code, and no one will take any responsibility for it. Maybe rent direct from an owner? Or just be safe and book elsewhere.

The bed, bed, bed was like sleeping on concrete and worse, was the management initial response to concerns about the bed. Also the no key system which requires you to remember two separate 10 digit codes to access the property and the hassle of entering the codes each time you enter the property/room. Also the main entrance front door was broken, for up to 6 weeks prior to our visit (as advised by another guest) which required difficult after hours entry through the carpark.

I would stay there again as it is very quiet and pretty. Just make sure you have everything you need as there is no one at the desk after 5pm I think?? Bus stop is right at hotel and you can store skis in locker room.
