The location was convenient and the unit was clean. However, we stayed in the unit on the 5th floor across from the elevators and the incredible level of noise overshadowed our stay. I'm not talking about the normal sounds of an elevator "ding" or doors opening and closing (which would not be a big deal, I swear we are not that picky). I mean what sounded like extremely loud machinery and hydraulics day and night. We felt like we were living inside a factory. Sleep was only possible with ear plugs or noise-canceling Airpods (better). Based on other positive reviews, I assume other units away from the elevator or on other floors would be perfectly fine. Oh also, the pool and hot tub were not available during our entire stay due to a broken heating element.

Sadly, the hotel was not the best. It was dirty and disappointing. The staff were not friendly. The rooms were small and the showers were unclean… The living area was very small and I don’t recommend it for a family. The proximity was good. However, the location did not “make up” for the poor font desk service and the broken pool and sauna.

The room was very small, but adequate and clean. It was within walking distance to restaurants the nearby supermarket. There was parking underneath, which was an additional $25 CAD/day, but parking spaces were incredibly narrow! It was nice to have a kitchenette in the room, too.

My recent stay with MVA was truly exceptional. The staff's level of recognition and care was remarkable. From remembering my name and preferences to offering valuable local recommendations, they went above and beyond. The room was immaculate. This is a great space, within walking distance to everything and is literally just perfect for the Whistler getaway ! We were super lucky that despite the long weekend we had the pool and hot tub area to ourselves Friday evening/Sat am. Building was well kept and clean, definitely not "brand new" condition rooms- but safe and with the great location & price point it is a epic choice. Min's to grocery, liquor and everything else Whistler has. I only gave 4 stars because our room code was finicky and didn't always work - which is how you get in the building outside of 10am-10pm - very lucky that when it wouldn't open at all and we needed a new one the agent was still there - otherwise we would have been locked out for the night in our bathing suits.....Also lost points as our fireplace did not work, it was definitely something we were excited to use, front desk tried to get it to work and couldn't... should be repaired or the room description updated.

We had an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment room 208, beautiful apartment. Large living area, bedroom, storage cupboards, bathroom and small shaded balcony. Hotel was so friendly. Outdoor pool and really good jacuzzi. Pool and gym not open until 10am as hotel not manned 24hrs. Well equipped kitchen and large fridge. Cleaning was once during 7 nights and this suited us fine.

Great location and facilities. Loved the hot tub. Wouldn’t recommend apartment 407 for any longer than a few days. No dishwasher or electric kettle just a stovetop kettle, annoying. Have stayed here before in a different apartment which was much better. Comfy bed and pillows and shower was ok. Most staff on front desk were helpful, overall a good stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. It was easier than I thought to park our RAV in the underground carpark and find our room, privately owned #415. This was a Deluxe Studio. Very clean, well cared for and just as web pictures described. It was quiet at night, there were eating places well within walking distance. The room is on the compact side. It was hard adjusting to a double bed after being used to a king. In fact, I woke up to my husband, in his sleep, trying to push me out of the bed. It was, however, reasonably comfortable. Great wifi. We had occasion to pop into room #318 while there. I don’t know what sort of room type it was, but it had a bit more space including a couch area. For a 2 night stay, we were very happy at the Alpenglow. For the owner to note: only one bowl in crockery and no teaspoons.

Despite arriving 1 hour early for check in they had our room ready for us and we were able to head straight up. The room was as advertised, clean, a decent size with good amenities. A nice over-bath shower with good water pressure and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner supplied. The staff were pleasant on our few interactions and the hotel is in a central and convenient location. It was less than a 5 minute walk from the bus stop in the village centre. The only reason it lost a star was the number of amenities that we weren't able to turn off that had bright digital lights. This was distracting when trying to sleep and bad for the environment.
