My family of five are spending the Christmas season at Cascades from Dec. 23-28, 2012. It was easy to find and looks quite nice. There is an AVIS rental outlet right in the facility. We arrived early but our room wasn't ready. The staff gladly processed our check-in and allowed us access to the underground parking so we could park...

We had a great experience from check-in though to check-out.... Our room felt like home from home and everything was in working order and the wifi worked with no issues. Being at the front of the hotel on the second level we had a bit of late night noise from party goers/revellers but that's just normal...! We rented skiing equipment...

Cascade Lodge served its purpose but there was nothing particularly outstanding about it. Our room was clean and comfortable, but decor was a bit tired and dated - it felt a little like staff accommodation. Our room happened to be near the lifts and so the constant dull drone of the lifts going up and down could be heard constantly....

This is a great place for a long weekend but can't imagine spending a week here! We had a 1-bedroom suite which featured a kitchenette (good sized sink; medium sized refrigerator; microwave; 2-burner 'stove'; tons of utensils/dishes/glasses etc. and a coffee maker). Flat screen TV had great channel selections and good reception. However, it was mounted in a very weird...

We just returned from a week at the Cascade Lodge and had a very good experience. I think the reviews reflect different but simultaneous owners/management at the Lodge. One can go as part of Worldmark, ResortQuest, Whistler Places and who knows what other agencies and experiences will vary based on which management is directing that particular unit. We went on...

Just returned from a long weekend in a 1 bedroom suite. The location is excellent, very close proximity to the village without the noise of being right in the village. The room itself had seen better days. The sofa and chair were quite dirty and worn as were the coffee tables, end tables, etc. and furniture was mismatched. Front desk...

We just got back from three nights in a one bedroom suite. Pros: great location, though every hotel has a great location when staying in the whistler village area. Check in and out was quick and easy with friendly service. The room was huge with a full kitchen, dining area and even a washer/dryer. Queen sized bed was comfortable. Beautiful...

I was reading a lot of scary reviews about this place over on Yelp, but my experience here has been quite the opposite. I checked in with friendly competent desk staff. Our room, a studio deluxe via a Living Social deal, has an amazing view of the mountains overlooking the village of Whistler. The mattress is average, but not horrible....
