We stayed in room 206 during our family trip to Whistler. 1 bedroom unit was perfect for a family of 3. The unit was accessible which I needed for my broken ankle; lots of bars well placed in the washroom, and there's a bathroom chair in the bathtub. Kitchen was really well-equipped and had everything we needed. Family friendly with a large rec room on the 2nd floor where the pool and gym are. Very convenient and quiet location. Creekside Gondola is right behind the hotel, and Creekside Market is right across the street. My only complaint is that it was really hard to get the room temperature just right because the thermostat didn't seem to work well. I called the front desk to complain and the service person that came up told us to just crack open the window if the suite is too hot. We are guessing that they may have intentionally turned the fan function off during the winter months.

Over the years I’ve stayed many times at Whistler, it nice to live so close to whistler , it’s been over 30 years since I stayed Creekside
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed staying there. Lately we‘ve stayed Blackcomb side, we avoid the Big Whistler Village hotels, they’ve become very popular and pricey
This time we decided Creekside
We saved time by now driving into the Village and leaving was much easier, just a left turn into the Sea to Sky highway
The room was very nice and clean and surprisingly big
The Hot tubs and Pool are nice after a day of ski
The Ski lockers are very nice feature and you’re not waiting for the rush at the Ski Valets! I like this system so much better!!! Then you open the door and it’s a 50 step walk to the Creekside Gondola, very very convenient, so so close
Customer service there was great!
I will definitely be Back!!

Legends at Creekside is best hotel especially for families close to Whistler Village (7 min drive, 50 min walk, quick bus ride). Rooms: quiet, plush linens, full kitchen (large fridge & freezer), fireplace, washer & dryer with soap, TV in lr & bedroom, multimedia player to play music via bluetooth, cd or usb stick in lr. Hotel: kids play room (not open in covid times), outdoor pool & hot tub open, Dusty’s pub-type & apres ski restaurant around corner, secure ski lockers in lobby (ask for lock on check-in). Skiing: Creekside lift right around corner, handy ski rentals. When skiing down make sure you follow trail signs back to Creekside, or download via Creekside Gondola. Biking: fairly secure bike lockers on P2 (access to anyone with key card but can lock to secure metal bike rack).

5-star prices, 1-star service. We politely asked to pay to leave out bags here while we awaited our bus. The front desk host was very adamant about not making an exception to this rule. After asking us a series of irrelevant questions still refused to budge or even let us talk to the desk manager. I’ve traveled to almost 40 countries and never had a simple request like this refused even when I wasn’t a guest at the hotel. This kind of inflexibility smacks of generally poor service so we would never consider staying here when we return next time.

an hour ago While the staff was very friendly and the space clean and conveniently located we were dissatisfied with our stay at legends this time around. The tv’s are quite outdated and the cable continuously kept cutting out - we didn’t have a TV guide as that channel never worked. We called the front desk and were put through to the maintenance department however we were never able to get through to anyone. The duvets do not have true covers, rather bedding is a heavy duvet with two bed sheets wrapped round it, which means you get tangled up in blankets all night. We stayed for five nights and it definitely took away from our stay not having any housekeeping - it is unfortunate there is not an option to receive a vacuum or clean midway through a longer stay especially when paying the same high prices. Finally, it was unfortunate that the hot tub and pool hours were restricted and there was no gym access. All in all we just want to send a review informing others to be prepared for a lesser stay due to Covid protocols in place.

Response from Dicken Irving, Guest Services / Front Office at Legends
Responded Feb 7, 2021
Dear Michelle, Thank you for choosing Legends Whistler and for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. I would like to start by apologizing to you for not meeting your expectations. We strive to make your visit as memorable as possible. I am sorry we failed at that mission. Safety of our guests, owners and staff is our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, we aim for this to have as little impact on guest experience as possible. I hope you will give our property a chance to prove that your unsatisfactory experience was an exception. Again, thank you for contacting Legends Whistler and if I can be of assistance to you, please contact me directly. Sincerely, Dicken Irving Front Desk Assistant Manager

The property is very well cared for and the room was very clean. There were areas under the sink that could have used some additional attention but for the most part immaculate.
The big warning I would provide to travellers with children is to be aware that it is very likely that you will not get access to the pool. The booking system in place opens for reservations at 9am and for our entire stay we diligently logged in at 9am and were unable to get access. The front desk has no interest in managing this process (I asked) so there is no wait list for people who do not show or cancel. On more than one occassion we went by the pool area and there were fewer people than what was listed as maximum capacity. When I asked about this, I was told that people book a 90 minute time slot and can use it at any point during that time, even if it is for only 30 minutes. This seems like a missed opportunity to accommodate more guests in the pool area. For people who want to cancel, the slot goes back into the online booking tool for others to book. So basically you have to spend your entire vacation looking at the online booking tool. Even then, a slot opened up and when I tried to book it, I was told that it was not available but it continued to show up on their system. Again, I phoned the front desk and they will take no responsibility for the booking tool and were not able to provide any assistance.
I do want to say that the property was very clear at the time that they charged my account that not all guests would have the opportunity to enjoy the pool during their stay so we were prepared in that sense. However, I wanted to make other guests aware of just how difficult it was to get any access. When travelling with children, it is difficult to explain to them why they can't use the pool, especially in circumstances where you are doing everything you can and then they see less than 15 people (of the 20 allowable) in the area during a time that shows as unavailable to book.
The other disappointing element is that the pool is only open between 1100-6:30. It seems like they could fit another 3 time slots into that period and accommodate another 60 guests but again when I asked about this, I was provided with no answer.
I feel the hotel and their staff could take a more active approach to the booking process and at the very least offer a wait list for those that cancel during the course of their day.
The new reality for COVID has provided challenges and complications for all people and the hospitality industry has had to change the way in which they do business. I will say that the staff at this resort seem tired and disengaged when asked about things. Even a simple request to housekeeping for coffee took over an hour and an additional phone call to be responded to.
Its a shame because this really is a great property but this experience has made me weary of returning.

Response from Kevin Small, Marketing at Legends
Responded Jul 29, 2020
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We strive to deliver an exceptional experience to each one of our valued guests and are disappointed to learn that your recent experience did not meet your expectations. At Legends we are endeavoring to balance both our guest experiences and Covid-19 restrictions as best possible and in turn getting some very positive feedback around our safe practices. However, we truly empathize with your disappointment as sometimes the slots do get booked quite quickly due to the reduced capacity mandated for safe physical distancing on the pool decks. Please allow us to express our most sincere apologies for not being able to use the pool during your stay, or for that matter any other inconvenience related to the enhanced safety protocols in place at the Property. There are certainly many interesting outdoor options to explore in Whistler and, on behalf of our entire team, we do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another visit and to better serve you in the near future.” Kind Regards, The Lodging Ovations Team.

This is a lovely lodge. Located next to the Creekside gondola. Dustys Bar, a popular locals hangout with great bar food and music is directly behind the hotel. There is a ski locker storage room at the back of the lodge opening out to the central meeting area next to the gondola. A lift ticket office is attached to the lodge. Whistler kids snow school is directly across the square. The condos are rustic with gas fireplace and comfortable beds. There is a heated pool and two hot tubs. If you haven’t been to Whistler before you need to know that Creekside is a separate location. The lodge is located in Creekside Whistler. The Creekside development is approximately 3 miles from the main village. There is NO free shuttle taking you back and forth between the two. You can reach the two areas skiing on the mountain but otherwise expect to pay $2.50 per person each ride, each way.

My family stayed here for two nights this past week, visiting Whistler for the first time. Check in is 4 p.m., but we arrived about 1:30 p.m. and were able to check in early, which was very nice.
We had a two bedroom suite which was large and spacious and an excellent price for Whistler. There were two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 and a large living room with a patio and view of the swimming pool and hot tub area. We used the pool area twice and the pool temperature was very nice.
We had a problem with one of the shower heads, but housekeeping repair came to our room quickly and explained the problem courteously. It really ended up not being a problem.
If we come to Whistler again, we will definitely book into Legends. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.

This place is a ghost town during the current COVID period. I don't mean Whistler, I mean this hotel.
I am not sure why they are even bothering to stay open because everything is completely limited and or shut down.
No room service. No lobby. No gym. Pool and hot tub open 11-6 in 1.5 hour slots so only about 5 guests per day have access. Restaurant closed. Might as well be sleeping in my car.
This contrasts greatly to many of the other properties in the area where everything still seems to be open (coffee shops, restaurants, lobby, pools, etc.)
Rooms are quite nice, but .... I really don't understand why they bother to keep it open if they are going to do it so poorly.

The hotel itself is charming and the staff friendly on arrival. Having flown in from the UK on a 10 hour flight we just wanted to get to our room and sleep, this is where the rose tinted glasses came off. As soon as we walked into the bedroom of 412 we were confronted with a loud humming noise coming from next door, which according to the floor plans should be a room, but its actually a plant room which gives off a constant buzz. At night sound travels, even if you close the bathroom door you can still here the noise. After a busy day on the slopes all you want to do is to be able to sleep peacefully and not have this constant buzz. Reported it straight to reception only to be told that they've never had complaints about that room!!!!and that they will get maintenance to have a look. They are fully booked and cannot move us. Spent a fortune on ski holiday and can't sleep
Be warned that it you have guests sleeping on the pullout bed bring extra blankets. No duvet provided, 1 thin blanket and 1 pillow is all you get. Can't turn the heating up beyond a certain temperature. They did give us an extra blankets, well done
Hot tub lovely temperature but swimming pool could be warming
