Wonderful stay for our family. Quiet, well equiped good size unit. Great location, walk to restaurants. Would stay here again. Acer vacation rentals were lovely to rent from - very thoughtful and helpful.
Very nice newly renovated 2 bedroom condo. Family friendly, well run establishment. Ski room and hot tub were very conveniently located and ski in, ski our location was great. The Goyettes are very responsive. Highly recommended.
A comfortable place just like home! Huge rooms and loft for kids to play and fully kitchen equipments are provided that we don’t even have to bring anything for this trip. A spacious Swimming pool and hot tube are nice and clean with building manager who always around to check the here abs checking
We stayed two nights at the Greystone to get a final day in the bike park with the whole family. The location on Blackcomb was great - easy walk to the main village and a stone's throw from the Blackcomb base restaurants etc. The accommodation was clean and the covid precautions seemed well signed. We felt very comfortable. Felt like a good 'ol Whistler ski condo and looked well cared for with new appliances and a well equipped kitchen. Kids loved the loft sleeping area. We'd certainly stay here again!
We have stayed at the Aspens complex before and quite enjoyed it. This time around we stayed at the Greystone Lodge. Upon entering the suite we thought the place was really nice, it was big, nice kitchen and had ample room for us to put our feet up after a long day exploring Whistler. We had booked 4 nights as we usually do. The first 2 days were great, everything was as normal as could be. On the 3rd day is where this took a turn for the worse. My spouse and I were relaxing on the couch mid afternoon, resting up before heading out for the evening. Our couch faced the balcony, which we had spent a couple nice evenings in prior to this day. We did notice that there was another door that connected to this balcony..but as all other places we have ever stayed at we assumed that this was available if you rented the whole suite(family style with a door inside the suite to connect over to other side aswell). We had just rented the loft suite itself so we assumed that that side would just be blocked off and if we would have got the whole suite we would have access to that. Well boy were we wrong. As we sat watching a movie in our suite.. I all of a sudden saw the balcony door slide open and a hand reach out and grab one of the balcony chairs and slide it towards the room. I immediately jumped off the couch because to be honest it scared the crap out of me. Your not expecting another person or people to be there so was definitely a very weird feeling. My spouse said maybe it's just the construction workers or people painting the condo as there had been people doing that.. I said that I'm pretty sure they would give you a heads up about something like that, I didn't think it was any worker of any sort. We then headed out to the balcony to see exactly what was going on and sure enough upon looking into the wide open mysterious balcony door there was another family or couple that had been put into this suite. We called the front desk immediately and asked what was going on. They told us that "oh, you guys are staying in a shared balcony suite" . We told them that this was absolutely not ok on many different levels considering the world we live in right now. We asked them what was going to happen. We had already been staying in this suite for 2 full days and to be forced to leave because they moved other people into the same suite is an absolute inconvenience. They had 2 options for us.. 1) we stay there, sharing a balcony and space with another random family we dont know or 2) move to another property they own and try that, packing up all our stuff and having to move places entirely half way through. We also lost our parking spot that was included with our place and was one of the reasons we had booked with them in the beginning as parking rates can get steep and free enclosed parking is a perk. So we now had to try and find a parking spot everytime we came back which often turned into a hassle because of how busy it is in the area. We also lost our pool and hot tub access. This properties pool and hot tubs were not opened when we had enjoyed the other properties the 2 days before. These were all major major inconvenience. My big problem among many things is the health and safety protocols that ResortQuest and Greystone Lodge in particular are following. As everyone knows..we have a virus going around the entire world. Why on earth are you booking people into shared balcony suites? You surely can't get that full where you need to jam people in everywhere you can. This was not following any rules by public health authorities and the fact there was no apologies and no action to fix this situation it makes it very worrying. I've never in my life stayed in a place where I've had to share a balcony with another family even without Covid. In my opinion this is one of the worst things I've seen during this pandemic so far. I'm writing this review to hopefully shed some light on this situation and maybe even a public health officers see by this and do a investigation into it. Needless to say we will not be returning to any of these properties in the future and I suggest you ask them about the type of suite your actually getting before choosing to stay with them. I hope this helps anyone in the future. Stay safe.…
