This place has something for everyone, whether you want to chill out by the fire and read a book, enjoy miles of groomed classic track, or shred deep untouched coastal powder. My partner and I went up for a three day ski trip and were greeted with 20 cm's of fresh pow and another 20 cm's overnight. We skied beautiful...

Journeyman Lodge is truly a hidden gem. Tucked in the mountains, away from cell service and the harried pace of regular life, the lodge is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, ski, snowshoe, star gaze and simply breathe. The hosts were gracious, hospitable and professional, the rooms, warm and cozy, and the food, simple but delicious. Not to...

The lodge hosts were great and the food was fantastic! The lodge itself was warm and cozy with a nice fire and lots of new friends. We had fresh snow and blue bird skies so the ski touring up in the alpine was incredible! I can't wait to go back for a ski and a sweat in the wood fired...

After a 13 km slog up, up, and then up some more, we arrived on our classic skis ready for the delicious cookie and coffee that was waiting for us. The place is great, food is good and scenery is spectacular. We stayed in a standard queen room. It's a small room with a queen size bed built into the...

Wonderful team, from Darcy who navigated me to the base camp when I overshot the turnoff to Callaghan Lakes, to Kim who graciously outfitted me with skis and snowshoes to the hardworking lodge hosts and chef, Valerie and Fabian and Joe. I had a wonderful stay. Beautifully groomed nordic trails, incredible scenery, great conversation over dinner with guests from Australia,...

Just spent a couple nights up at Journeyman Lodge and loved it! Comfortable accommodations in a spectacular setting. Our hosts, Valerie and Fabien, were so friendly and helpful. My husband had a problem with his ski boot coming apart on the way up and the next day Fabien let him borrow his own boots so he could ski the morning...

We had a great stay at Journeyman Lodge. Everything was great from the facilities, the hosts, and the food. You must go and enjoy the sauna by the creek. We were there for a couple of nights for some backcountry skiing; access to amazing terrain right outside the door. It was great to return from a day of skiing to...

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to spend the night at the Journeyman Lodge last week and skiied the two best days we've had this season so far for sure! We were blessed with blue bird skies and beautiful powder to ski right behind the lodge. The back country ski terrain all around the lodge is incredible and there...

We hit the jackpot! After a week of snowing, temperatures stayed low and the sun came out. Had incredible skiing right by the lodge. Everything one could want from a backcountry ski trip PLUS all the bonuses that staying at the Journeyman Lodge offers. Appetizers, the cedar sauna, going for a dip in the river, star gazing, and and a...

I've been boarding all around the world and doing the resort thing since I was a kid. The backcountry lodge experience is definitely something new with sweet vibes...I'm now inspired to invest in a splitboard. When I first arrived up at Journeyman Lodge I was astonished by the breathtaking views and the beautiful building itself, impressive workmanship. It was very...
