Nita Lake Lodge is often celebrated for its serene atmosphere and stunning lake views, offering a tranquil retreat with a variety of recreational options. Guests have called out the spacious rooms with comfortable amenities, although some have noted occasional cleanliness lapses and signs of wear. We hadn't spent any quality time in Whistler for perhaps 15 years. It has changed a lot! However we landed on our feet by booking this superb accommodation. The service was wonderful as was the food in the attached lounge and restaurant (The Den). The lake view was lovely and the walks did not disappoint at all. We were impressed with the shuttle service into the village but we took advantage of the 50 minute paved trail into town. We have fallen out of the habit of writing Tripadvisor reviews but figured it was well worth flying the flag for this marvellously put together lodge. Thank you. We will now come to Whistler a lot more often!

Hotel's Favourite
My family absolutely loved our stay at Nita Lake Lodge. Rooms: We stayed in a lake view suite, which was gorgeous and well-appointed. The soaking tub is amazing, robes and slippers were provided, beds were comfy, and we didn’t find it too noisy. Food: The restaurant was AMAZING - we had breakfast included, and i love that we could get it delivered to our room for no extra charge. We also did the spring special pre-fixe dinner for $49 which offered huge portions of delicious French-inspired food. Service: warm and incredibly helpful. We rented bikes with no fuss and were even able to do laundry - you can get detergent and petty cash at the front desk. Overall we loved NLL and would come back in a heart beat. It was actually lovely staying out of Whistler Village as there were fewer tourists, easy access to bike/walking paths, and a reasonably priced liquor store literally right next door. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review!! I am so thrilled to hear you and your family have had such a wonderful stay with us and were able to experience all the amenities we are able to offer. We too love that our little paradise is a bit out of the main village but with easy access to get there if you wanted. I will be sharing your kind words to the entire Nita Team. We hope to see you again soon. Warm regards, Courtney - Guest Relations Manager

I loved this hotel pretty much! I booked the room with Nita lake view! It’s away from the village so I could have a good quiet stay! The spa is amazing specially Alexia and Marta. My room was really clean and big and the bathroom is outstanding. I just would like to recommend adding toothbrush and toothpaste for the visitors.

Returning to Nita Lake Lodge for a second time, I had hoped for a better experience, having been underwhelmed during my initial stay. Disappointed by my first visit, I opted for the Pan Pacific for my subsequent trip to Whistler, which proved to be enjoyable. However, enticed by the promise of spacious rooms, I decided to give Nita Lake another chance on my third trip to Whistler. Regrettably, familiar issues persisted, such as no in-room dining (due to staffing issues), delayed shuttle services to Whistler Village (starting at 11 AM despite lifts opening at 8:30 AM and snow school classes beginning at 10 AM; also due to staffing), inadequate late checkout (only an additional 30 minutes, despite the hotel not being fully booked), and subpar amenities. Despite the allure of room size, my overall impression remains disappointing, and this will certainly be my last time here. If you can, spend the extra $ on another hotel, I promise, you’ll be thankful you did.

We were there for a wedding and it was spectacular! Everything was amazing, with a stunning backdrop. The event staff were professionals, and the food was perfect! We loved our room and the grounds, and even got to ski! The electronic door locks were not in working order and caused a lot of grief during our stay. Not one couple had a key that worked for the whole weekend! Because of varying levels of mobility and patience, during a very busy weekend, this was not appreciated.

Hot tub neglected and broken. Same with sauna - never installed just sitting there. Lots of noise in our room. bad turndown service. Abrasive staff. No accomodation from our anniversary and disappointment from our stay. Sour taste in our mouth from this stay. Too expensive for this 3.5 star that happens to have nicer rooms. Wish we stayed somewhere else for the price. With working spa amenities and name brand service.

Spent three nights here for a girls trip birthday weekend and had high expectations but was so disappointed. Firstly , yes the room was a great size with beautiful view and comfortable bed. However besides that not really much else was great. Firstly the food at the lounge was appalling. After waiting 45 minutes for “avocado fries” and mezze platter it was tasteless and unappetizing, this was dealt with well by our server but put us off of dining at The Den. The rooms are nice but showing wear and tear. Now for the spa! Changing rooms that are on par with a community centre at best. No products to use as far as lotions etc, the hot tubs are dated and the eucalyptus steam room was missing of the eucalyptus and need renovating. Absolutely not luxury, nothing about the spa is . Next the services , we had two Swedish massages and one facial between the three of us. The facial was satisfactory, however the massages were nothing more than the equivalent of having sunblock applied and rubbed in. At least my massage was in quiet, my friends was chatted through the entire time . Quite safe to say we will never return and highly recommend going elsewhere if you want to have a true spa experience.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of June which is classed as the shoulder season. The Lodge did not seem overly busy but we were staying there during the week. On arrival we were upgraded to a studio room with a lake view. We were on the third floor and unfortunately l can't remember the room number otherwise l would highly recommend it! The room was to the left of the hotel as you faced out to the Lake. We don't generally book the more expensive rooms with a view but l have to say the view is gorgeous! How lucky were we to get a complimentary upgrade! The rooms l think have been recently refurbished and my only criticism would be the dark choice of interior decor! The bathroom was enormous with both bath and shower and lovely upmarket complimentary soaps etc. There was even underfloor heating in the bathroom which we had to turn off as it was June! Bed was very comfortable. The balcony was just lovely to sit out on and read our books and enjoy the view. The Valley cycle path runs past the Lodge and you can watch the cyclists pass and also watch the activity on the lake. There is a small jetty with paddle boards, canoes and kayaks. All free to use but you do have to book them. The Lodge also has bicycles which you can also book for up to 2 hours free of charge. The Valley Cycle path is great. You can get a free map which shows you all the routes. We cycled around Whistler Golf course. There are a few hills but even though l am 59 years old l managed quite well. We had breakfast on the patio every morning. The breakfast was super and included freshly squeezed orange. As l have said it was an idyllic place to stay. We were so glad we did not stay in Whistler Village. The Lodge has a free shuttle bus which goes frequently to and from Whistler Village. Its worth checking out what's on in Whistler during your stay as we happened upon the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra rehearsing at the Olympic Plaza for a free concert which was happening there that evening. We did enjoy the rehearsal! Finally l have to recommend The Red Door Bistro which is literally a two minute walk from Nita Lake Lodge. It's quite unpretentious but the food and ambience is excellent. We ate there twice we liked it so much. All I can say is that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Its quite a rustic hotel which is obviously a ski Lodge in the winter. However we found the staff very helpful, the food good and the room excellent. The outdoor hot tub area l did think could do with a make over. Its a small area an did not come across as very appealing.
