No! There's a reason it's not in the main town centre. Sure, there are resorts outside of Whistler proper that are amazing - this is not one of them. Want all the price of central Whistler but none of the amenities or services? You have found your spot! This is the kind of place I find so frustrating. There are budget hotels in Whistler - you know what you get when you stay there. There are high end places in Whistler - you have an expectation staying there. Then, there are these places. Capitalising on the popularity of Whistler, be happy for what you get ‘cause you’re in Whistler, right? Service? Not as good as Travelodge. Amenities? Maybe on par. Price? Not sure why they think they're the Fairmont, because that's what they're charging. Just don’t.

My family absolutely loved our stay at Nita Lake Lodge. Rooms: We stayed in a lake view suite, which was gorgeous and well-appointed. The soaking tub is amazing, robes and slippers were provided, beds were comfy, and we didn’t find it too noisy. Food: The restaurant was AMAZING - we had breakfast included, and i love that we could get it delivered to our room for no extra charge. We also did the spring special pre-fixe dinner for $49 which offered huge portions of delicious French-inspired food. Service: warm and incredibly helpful. We rented bikes with no fuss and were even able to do laundry - you can get detergent and petty cash at the front desk. Overall we loved NLL and would come back in a heart beat. It was actually lovely staying out of Whistler Village as there were fewer tourists, easy access to bike/walking paths, and a reasonably priced liquor store literally right next door. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

We had our team retreat at Nita Lake Lodge. Everyone loved their stay! The rooms are great, the conference rooms too. Food was delicious and amenities were a great bonus as everyone enjoyed the swimming in the pool, going on a quick paddle on the lake or going on a bike stroll around the lake!

Stayed here with my mom for a couple days in the spring after our trip was postponed twice during covid. I had high expectations given that this is a Visa Infinite hotel however, none of the Infinite perks were offered to us, and it seems that program is overlooked. When we were checking in, our room wasn’t ready yet and the front desk said they’d text to let us know when it was done. We waited an hour and never received a text, we eventually went back to the front desk and it turns out, the room was ready. Looked like the original employee finished their shift and didn’t tell anyone we were waiting. We had a lovely experience at the spa and enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. I think some of the “luxury” aspects need work, but a lovely location and cozy rooms.

We had 60 min Swedish massages. They were very good. But if you are looking for an elevated spa experience, this is not the place for you. Locker rooms are ridiculously small. Two rooftop hot tubs need replacing, or at the very least resurfacing. Unclean toilet area in locker room. The staff is great. Wish I could recommend it, but it’s just way too rundown. Hotel itself is lovely! Happy hour lakeside was delicious. Cute salad was very fresh.

I don't want to oversell it, but it's a wonderful place. Mainly geared toward the physically active, which was not our group, but, with the village six minutes away via the free hotel shuttle, there was still shopping, great food, axe throwing, and other things to do to enjoy yourself. Good service all around, especially from our three-time waiter Danny at the Lakeside/Cure Lounge restaurants in the hotel. Our mothers sang the praises of the spa services, in particular the massages. We didn't have a car so I can't speak for the driving/parking experience, there is laundry in the basement, which was handy. Spa services, and Lakeside restaurant dinner dining are best done with a reservation as, even in the "off" season, the hotel was still booked solid. If you're looking for nature, relative quite and calm (compared to the city), beautiful environs, and a hotel that looks and feels better-than-typical, this is the place.

Short staffed which should not be used as an excuse for not putting residents first. Walk in customers took preference. Bar staff and snack restaurant staff almost rude. There no chance of booking spa treatments must book in advance. Large, impersonal and noisy. Charge for parking hire car was not made clear on check in. Seems wrong for open air car park. We have written to the manager and received a completely ineffectual response with no apology. This does not feel like a 4/5 star hotel.

A wee bit disappointing so far. Initially things were good - lake view suite was nice: good sized room, fireplace, big bathroom, comfy bed. The lighting in the room was not great - very subtle overhead lighting made the room dark in the evening, one bedside lamp was faulty & flickered intermittently so needed torches on phone to find anything..... Calling the room a 'lakeside view ' was a bit misleading as we could barely see the lake through the trees. Breakfast the first day was a bit slow. We were shown to our table just before 8am & juice & tea arrived promptly with my husband asking for milk. At 8.20am he still didn't have it & no one had taken our order. By this time a 3rd member of waiting staff had arrived & after overhearing him being told there was no manager in today we managed to flag him down & place our order. Our breakfast came 40 minutes after we had arrived, which would have been fine but my husband had an excursion booked who were collecting him at 8.45am. He had exactly 5 minutes to eat. Fortunately the food wasn't hot as our 'hot' main had been served on cold plates....... He rushed down some of his & then had to leave the rest. I foolishly had forgotten to tell the staff I was allergic to onions- entirely my fault - I just never expected my scrambled eggs to come with chives scattered on top of them or my breakfast potatoes to be cooked with spring onion. The staff were working hard to keep on top of things but it did seem that they were struggling a little. 90 minutes after I left the room I got a call telling me I had left without signing the bill for our breakfast. I hadn't been aware I would need to do this - our booking had included breakfast so in the UK we would not be presented with a bill to sign for something we'd already paid for. I'm hoping when we check out tomorrow we don't receive a charge on our card for breakfasts!

We have stayed at many resorts, and are from Ontario and go to Blue Mountain regularly (sister development). This hotel is so far and above anything available there, and it is truly living up to what I think of as a uniquely western Canadian balance of luxury and nature. The room was two-level, gorgeous, and felt somewhere between a luxury hotel room and a cabin. The food was excellent and the service was also great. They have bicycles that we made use of on the trail that crosses their property. This property is a great alternative to the busy central part of Whistler, and it is mostly special for how it makes you feel while you are there, not for any one thing in particular. Hope to return one day!
