The gentleman at the desk was not as welcoming or friendly compared to past stays at this motel.Perhaps it is a new Manager. We seldom make it to the Continental Breakfast. Although, in the past, it has always been sufficient.

I wouldn't stay here if it was 70 dollars a night but it's so cheap it's hard to complain. Never had a problem with cleanliness but the Reno's look like they were done by a ten year old. The Asian owner seems like a nice enough guy. The absolute worst is the continental breakfast though. Don't even bother. Go get... More

At 59$ our expectations were not high. Was greeted by an asian man who was not the most welcoming. The cleanliness of our room was average with a couple hairs left in the tub. The bed in our room was way above average for a cheap motel... as well as the sheets. We slept like babies.

I have stayed at the Midway many times in my travels back and forth across Canada and was always greeted warmly and given the same room mostly always if available. My room was always clean and I was given a coffee machine for my room when I asked for one as there is coffee sometimes in breakfast area but not... More

The location is good, but most of the restaurants are located by 18th street. It was an excellent stay. I really have no complaints. It's a good budget motel. I think it is priced right. I would not pay more, but think the price is very fair.

If you are traveling thru Brandon, and just looking for a nights sleep, this place is hard to beat for price. It is clean and comfortable. I believe the renovations are an ongoing project, but the completed rooms are nice. WiFi, movie channel, flat screens and a good continental breakfast. The motel is a few hundred meters south of TransCan, so... More

Dirty Carpets, furniture! No tending breakfast so called Buffett! Not the price listed! If anyone says it is a gem, they must love stains everywhere! Stay at name brand, these are often stayed at by workers which is fine! But not for travellers, or if you like clean! Horrible from every perspective!

The last review was somewhat misleading. We checked in sign says $59, quoted that on phone. Arrive $69, with taxes $ 82.? Worker beside after I pays gets a room for $50. Asks if he is local, so pays less! Carpets terribly stained. Huge rings of something! Furniture ground in stains! Bathroom towels small. Caulking applied with a cake icing... More

Mid-Way Motel is a great place to spend a night. Economical rooms that are spotless. Nice continental breakfast with great coffee! Perfect place to rest after along day of driving. Very quiet. A jewel on the prairie.

This was your basic motel. you could smoke in the room and the continental breakfast was good. The staff was very pleasant and the room was only 59.95. It is located on 1st street in Brandon so not far from shopping mall.
