This is a new 6-story property located on a main highway a couple of miles south of the town center. We were surprised at how nice this hotel is. We've stayed in a number of this chain's properties over the years, and this one wins the award for best ever for us (we've made about 400 Tripadvisor hotel reviews, of which probably 15-20 are for HI Express hotels). The lobby area is bright and airy. The young front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our third floor king room was spacious and had a larger than normal king bed and large TV. The fitness room is the largest and best equipped of any that I've seen for this chain, and there is a very nice indoor pool. Breakfast seemed to be a notch above the standard one for the chain. Free parking on site. Room price was reasonable. Although the hotel is out in the suburbs, there is a decent steak restaurant a short block away. In summary, what's not to like here.

Stayed here for one night while in town for a special event. This place is easy to find, on a main road, had food options super close by, and there is free on site parking. (Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel if you want to monitor your vehicle in the lot.) The parking lot is well lit, which is something I really apprieciate.
Check in and check out was a breeze, and we were greeted by name the second morning by Meghan at the front reception. Rooms are super clean, and so are the hallways and common areas. There is free coffee in the lobby, too. Because of Covid-19, the breakfast buffet is nixed, but you still get to order a free breakfast - and it is delivered to your door at the hour you request. I opted for 8am, and it arrived on time and hot hot hot. =) In-room coffee is Timothy's brand, if you care to know.
If I have to nitpick, I'd say if you are not a fan of floral scents, check the provided bodywash in the bathroom before you slather it on.
10\10 would stay here again!

What a refreshing experience! My partner and I, along with our pooch, took a road trip across Canada. We had a number of disappointing hotel stays along the way. Indeed, we had made a reservation to stay in a different hotel in Brandon, and when we arrived we learned they didnt have a room with the specifications we had reserved. Very frustrating.
We called around Brandon to explore what else might be available, and were pleased to learn that the Holiday Inn could accommodate us. Upon arriving we were immediately impressed by the immaculate grounds and lobby, as well as the exceptionally plesant and helpful staff.
Our room was impressive. Very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning that worked effectively over the hot night. As a bonus, the room had a second sliding barn door that seperated the sleeping area from the entrance and bathroom, giving an extra barrier between the sound and light in the public hallway.
All in all a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Brandon!

Absolutely everything was perfect for the 2 consecutive week nights that I stayed here! The beds were amazing! The king suite has piles of room and lots of features, such as an ottoman, blackout blind, cool lighting, spacious bathroom, lots of cupboard and drawer space! The pool area, hot tub and fitness centre were incredible. They were controlled by the front desk during Covid protocols. The hot breakfast was no disappointment either! Fresh fruit, flavored coffee creamer, cinnamon buns, as well as sausage and eggs. All staff that I interacted with went out of their way to impress. Hiring great staff can be difficult, so Way To Go Holiday Inn Brandon!!

Room was very clean did not see anything that could cause questions. Bed was comfy and clean. The shampoo conditioner body wash etc was Dove which is better than most hotel items you receive. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and they always had coffee to grab!

From check in to check out, this hotel was top notch. Hotel was clean, breakfast area was spacious and rooms were great. Breakfast was one of the best I've experienced at a hotel and I loved that the exterior doors were all locked which made it feel super safe. Highly recommend. #1 hotel in Brandon and within walking distance to many restaurants.

This place is four yrs old but looks brand new. Spotless. Lots of parking. Very quiet neighborhood. Only complaint is the pillow-top mattresses. Like sleeping in an oven.
My gripe is that it is a rip-off. The rates per night are reasonable but they tack on a "service fee" and claim that it is actually tacked on by booking.com. Like the price of another night. I've never once been charged a service fee by booking.com. So I looked into it and it turned out that they are passing along the commission they pay to booking.com.
Will avoid Holiday Inns from now on.

Air conditioner, fridge and shower all worked well. Lot of room in our room but would have been nice if there were two chairs. It was good to have the pool and exercise room open. The service was great. Excellent breakfast. Good variety of food with hot options. It was so nice to be served and be able to sit at a table to eat instead of having to eat in your room (because of Covid). Place was clean. Location was easy to find. The only problem we had was that all of the communication I received from the hotel chain said that the check in time was 3 so when we arrived in Brandon at 2:30, I did not think it would be a problem getting in the room. However, actually, check in time was 4 and our room was not ready. Had I known that I would have planned differently. The room rate is on the higher side.

My husband and I stayed here with friends of ours for a night out in Brandon. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are modern and spacious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to great restaurants (which we took full advantage of). I can’t wait to stay here again!

Holiday Inn Express hotels is our number one choice anytime we travel. Twice in July we stayed at the one in Brandon just to get a break from our hot apartment. We love this hotel and will stay there anytime we are in Brandon. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well laid out. The beds are very comfy, although I found them to be a little high. Having breakfast served to us was not as nice as the usual breakfast area, but it is a good workaround during COVID restrictions. The tables are spaced in accordance with social distancing. The pool is wonderful - clean and comfortable temperature. The location is great - very easy to find and there are restaurants within walking distance. Overall, this is a great place to stay no matter what your reason is for travelling.
