I'm a bit late providing a review but felt the need to. I was supposed to stay at the Tundra Inn however the night before arrival they had had a fire. Therefore the rest of the hotels in Churchill had to accommodate last minute. Didn't know what to expect, but the rooms were ready despite it being last minute and...

The place is a former apartment building so the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Do not expect anything fancy, though. There is usually no one at the front desk and there is no restaurant or other amenities in the hotel. Our room had a full kitchen though. Towels were hard to come by and we were asked to vacate...

We were very impressed by the Aurora Inn. Nice living space with two leather settees, coffee table and tv. Fully stocked kitchen with full cooker and fridge, dining room table and chairs. Up stairs we had two queen sized beds and a bathroom. The heating was excellent, very important in Churchill. Whole place was very clean. We were checked in...

Stayed here 3 nights with Frontier's north during bear season. Group of 20+ arrived at 4pm, no one was at front desk. Tour leader had to call the owner's wife to come in, we all waited half an hour for her after a long tiring day of tour. When she finally came, no smile, no greetings, no apologies, just passed...

We were booked there for our Polar Bear adventure. this is a very small town, so if you are looking for a spa adventure you are out of luck,. But, the rooms were large, clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The inn is professionally maintained and the cleaner did a good job. In LA it would be a by-thought, but in Churchill...

Generous sized room with loft layout. Kitchenette and couch with TV downstairs, while beds, bathroom, and additional TV are upstairs. 1980s decor with blue carpeting, blue couches, water-stained walls, and chipped bathtub. Includes hair dryer, fridge, oven, microwave and ironing board. No front desk service. Free slow wi-fi. Not the top choice for accommodations in Churchill but good enough in...

We stayed at the aurora inn as part of our frontiers north trip. The inn was very clean, comfortable and warm. The owners also own a gift shop and a dog sledging experience both of which are also worth a visit. The owner isn't there very often but is available on the end of a phone. Highly recommend! Churchill itself...

We have had Churchill and the experience of the north on our to do list for years and this year we finally made it! We called Valerie at the Aurora Inn and booked 4 nights. Valerie was waiting for us at the hotel when we got off the train and walked to the hotel. Most everything is in walking distance!...

I'm only giving this place a terrible rating because when I tried to book a room, the person who answered the phone, basically told me that they were booked solid, even though technically the rooms are empty, but they're being held for a tour company and they would have to call the tour company to see if they could have...

The hotel was clean. The staff was mostly absent, they don't offer wake-up call service. The cleaning staff did not even show up 1of the days we stayed. Bedroom is a loft and no windows in the room you could see out of without a very tall ladder. The place needs a facelift or at least paint the rooms. From...

“The Aurora also had rooms for those unable to climb stairs. A lot of space in the rooms, which I heard were once apartments.”

“Some of the rooms are on one level, so if you can't climb a flight of stairs very easily, be sure to get one of those rooms. The bathroom is on the upper floor in the two story suites.”
