was recently working in the area for a 3 week job and stayed at the lodge! 1st off the rooms were the perfect size. Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. it had all the amenities we needed (stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, satellite TV) i read the reviews on the food prior to arriving and honestly, the food is WAY better than expected! the portions are HUGE and the THAI food is authentic. Not a fan of Thai food, no worries, they have anything you could want on the menu and it is all just as good. the hospitality was TOP NOTCH. Steve and Thiti made sure to take care of our needs and made our stay that much easier and more enjoyable. i would highly recommend staying at the lodge if you are in the area. the views were awesome and can only imagine how great they are in the summer months! thank you to Steve and Thiti for making our job that much more enjoyable and for the great times! sincerely Dan, from Toronto. the foundation crew!

We came from Thompson to go snowmobiling for the day and it was an AWESOME experience. We skidoo-ed through interesting trails and on the frozen lake. Special shoutout to Steve and Rick for being the best guides and the most patient with a completely inexperienced driver. To top off the special day we had authentic Thai food at the lodge which was delicious - you have to try the spring rolls. Would definitely recommend Sasagiu Rapids Lodge, it was an amazing experience!

I made a reservation for Saturday mentioning that we had a small tent and just staying for the night before taking the hike to Kwasitchewan Falls just down the road. When we got there the main building was closed for a wedding so we called and they took us to the campsite they had available for me and it was just rugged gravel lot. Tire ruts like crazy and no where we could have put a tent in. Luckily we called Paint Lake and they had two sites available left so we rushed over there to claim one before they were gone. (Can't reserve over the phone)

Met friends from Thompson here after Riding 800 kms from southern Manitoba. They have Thai food here! We had Thai spring rolls with a nice chilli sauce, a nice steak and a fantastic supreme burger that had onion rings & coleslaw in it. Prices were reasonable for the north and petty much anywhere in Manitoba.
