Stayed here while in town for some work. Quick drive from the airport. Friendly staff when I check in and out. Room was clean and large. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom was nice and had a nice sized shower and water got hot quickly. Also had an actual door on the shower which I have been finding a lot of places that do Reno’s do that new age no door just half wall thing. Located in a good area. Multiple places to eat with in walking distance. Did not drive a car so not sure if you pay for parking or not.

I quite enjoyed the room—particularly the floors, as the dingy carpet so typical in these chain hotels had been removed. This gave the room a much cleaner, modern, and appealing vibe. Lots of space for office work with plenty of plug ins. From my 26th floor room, the view was great. Bed is comfy. I do wish that the hotel would provide a plain kettle for boiling water. I am a tea drinker not coffee, and boiling water in those little ‘coffee makers’ is very awkward, not to speak of the lingering coffee aftertaste. There was a fridge but no microwave. No safe. Unfortunately the restaurant which I only tried once was TRULY mediocre. For wine lovers, don’t bother—they only had 1-2 selections of horrible wine. Go with beer — much safer.
My main issue is that the location of the hotel has become quite troubling, with many First Nations individuals in the area, many clearly suffering from substance abuse. Often they were congregated around the doors, and there seemed to be very little in the way of security. As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe. Even during the day, there were two fights that broke out nearby during my four day stay. Very sad and unfortunate but I would not elect to stay here again until this situation improves.

Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. The hot water sometimes took a bit to get going, but then I was up over 20 floors! The wait time for elevators always seemed to be long even though there were four of them. I attended for a local convention being held at the hotel. There is no longer any shuttle service from/to this hotel to the airport even though it was advertised at the airport. I would expect a hotel chain such as Radisson to have an airport shuttle available as the other hotels do.
Security was always present around the lobby and I could guess why. Even during the day, there seemed to be numerous homeless people wandering the area. It was worse at night (when the hotel actually locks their front doors - forcing people to use a side entrance). With a good restaurant in the hotel AND coffee shop off the lobby - you really did not have to leave. Staff seemed pleasant enough. Rooms towards the top of the hotel give a great view of Winnipeg. Also it's a quick walk to Portage & Main if you're looking to snap a photo of that!

Ideal location for the purpose of taking in a Jets game but that’s it, the room itself was less than what I’d ever expect from a Radisson hotel. So many things were rundown and didn’t work: The washroom had a huge stain on the back wall and the toilet didnt stop running. The thermostat wasn’t connected to anything and the heater unit didn’t have a thermostat control that worked. The fridge was certainly not cleaned and the floor was vacuumed but I suspect it hadn’t been well done. The remote control for the tv was dirty and one button didn’t work. It wasn’t a big deal but given the current situation in the world thses things are supposed to be cleaned if not removed and replaced every customer. The tap in the bathtub was opposite from every other one I’ve used in that the farther you turned it the colder it got, backwards from the labels on the control. This will be the last time to stay there. It’s run down, dirty & needs upkeep.

While the staff was friendly/knowledgeable & the hotel was clean, we had one “issue”. We wanted to order an “actual” breakfast (and supper later in the day), but all that was being served was buffets this weekend. For the breakfast, we were JUST able to get in and get food. Because we were “late” getting there, we could only have 1 plate of food each as they cleaned it up when we got to the table. Food tasted good though.

Pros: Bed is comfy. Room on 23rd floor had a nice view. Cons: Showers set off smoke detectors - has happened twice in less than 12 hours. Room looks dated, dark and dingy. Garbage in hallways from cleaning staff stayed in the hallway for hours. Noisy hotel, doors slamming throughout the night, rooms are not soundproof Booked a queen room, had none left, accepted two doubles, received two free breakfast vouchers 12th Floor Restaurant: Walked in at 7:45, half the tables were dirty, half the buffet options were almost out, no servers to be seen for first 5 minutes I usually stay at the Delta, but it was booked. I'm amazed this can be called a Radisson. If there is no other option downtown, stay at the airport or in a different part of the city and taxi downtown. I will never return.

I would highly reccomend this hotel. I was here for a conference and so the location was perfect. I definitely took advantage of the Starbuck right inside the front lobby and having Brown's Socual House across the street was handy. Staff were extremely friendly and house keeping went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. I had a really great experience.

My wife and I have stayed at this location numerous times over the years. As it's directly across from the Canada Life Center it is a busy place when hockey games or concert's take place. We were there because we were attending an event. The place was busy when we arrived as a lot of people were obviously staying there to attend the event as well. The front staff were great and helpful. However the room was showing it's dated life. Upon entering the room you could tell by the furniture it was old and hadn't had any updates in a while. The furniture is worn and tattered. The beds seemed ok but the bed skirts looked like they were just thrown in place and very ruffled and creased. The chair in the room was worn out and one armrest was totally ripped apart. The towels were frayed and old. Tops of furniture looked dusty but it was because they were worn out. One lamp had part of the finish peeling off. This is a hotel that is in there most prime location when it come to providing a great place to stay for the majority of the main events in Winnipeg. I'm a little perplexed by the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the rooms. Hopefully they make some changes in the near future.
