I was in Winnipeg for work and to try and avoid restaurants and what not I booked two nights here as they had rooms with kitchenettes so I could cook my own food. Was a quite nice room, very modern looking and had a nice divider that essentially made the bed area into it's own room. Fortunately there wasn't a lot of flights at the airport so it wasn't noisy, but when the turboprops were pulling up to the gate I could hear them. Quite reasonable rates for being located right beside the airport terminal (even though I wasn't flying anywhere). Overall quite good. If I'm ever flying out of the Winnipeg Airport I will almost certainly stay here.

I stayed at the Four Points while on lay over. It was a great hotel; nice and clean, plus only a short walk from the airport. My room was right beside the elevator and I was concerned that it would be noisy but much to my surprise I found it very quiet. I ordered room service during my stay and it was fast and very delicious. I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend that others do as well!

Great location, clean room and an excellent view of the tarmac. Beds were comfortable. Hotel is older but has been updated. I also appreciate the blinds/window coverings in the room; they actually keep out the light and helped to get a good sleep in! Would be nice to have a menu for the restaurant in the room. Also, parking is not listed on the Wyndham website as “paid parking”, so this was an additional charge I wasn’t expecting. Not expensive, but knowing about it prior to check in would have been nice.

I booked the hotel and chose the rate which includes complimentary breakfast. First of all the rate for breakfast is a bit more. Upon check-in I was told vouchers only covered $9. When we went to the room and looked at the breakfast menu there was nothing that cost less than $13. Which means I still have to pay out of pocket. So my kids got meals. My partner and I didn't. Also parking is not free. Website says onsite parking but didn't indicate whether it was free or not. I was surprised at check-in that I had to pay.

We met several times to prepare for our event with John, the GM, and Lori, the Sales and Catering Manager, and also had input from the Head Chef, Jamie. The fact that all 3 of these people were involved in making our event a success was really the key to it being such a success. The F&B Manager, Brett, made the evening of the event a huge success in the way he treated us and our guests. Food was properly set up, the bar ran like clockwork, and the service was overall "a 10". The food was terrific and the room set up was very good. The music man, Dwight, was friendly, played the music our group was interested in, and made for a fun night for us all. The beds in the Guest Rooms were comfortable and there was absolutely no noise through the windows from the Airport or the planes leaving or arriving at the airport.

This hotel was included in a tour with Frontiers North to view the polar bears in Churchill. It is very conveniently located right next to the airport. While apparently there was a free shuttle, it was very easy to walk. This is an older style hotel with no surprises. Service in the restaurant was deplorable despite there being only about 8 people there. We would order something and the waiter just disappeared. Very limited choice on the menu and only one desert (a pumpkin cheesecake) that was inedible. A buffet breakfast was included in our tour package and was typical luke warm (at best) breakfast fare. Not a fan. We also stayed there on our return from Churchill and service was about the same. This time, the TV remote didn't work. Unless you need the closeness to the airport, I would not recommend this hotel. I have no idea what they charge for a room as it was part of our plan.

Airport location is excellent. You can walk from the airport (mainly indoors through the Grand Hotel) in under 5 minutes. Check in at 1:30 AM was efficient and friendly. We chose the business executive suite to have some living space. The bad: The room is extremely tired and in need of renovation. Old, chipped wood furnishings. They have taken the door/drawer fronts off many furniture pieces rather than replacing. Toilet paper holder was falling off, brown water poured out of the bath tap. Stains on sofa seats. The good: bed was comfortable and clean. Air con, fridge and wifi worked well. Location to airport 5*. I asked guest services for some glasses, bowls and blanket and they were all delivered within 10 minutes. I did not complain about the issues as they are all “old age” related. If you don’t mind the state of the furnishings, it’s a big room, clean, with a comfortable bed. If you like newer, modern properties, definitely pick elsewhere.

As a Diamond member, I received excellent treatment during check-in, and I appreciate that. However, the reception staff, particularly those working in the morning, were incredibly rude, lacking manners and politeness.
While housekeeping usually provided water bottles daily, on my third night, I found myself without water. When I approached the reception for a bottle, the staff member was exceptionally rude, stating that nothing is free in the hotel and insisted I either bring my water or pay $6 for it, laughing in an unprofessional manner.
To add to my disappointment, I discovered an additional $15 charge each night for parking, a detail not communicated during online booking, check-in, or checkout. Despite asking the receptionist, this information was never disclosed.
This experience was frustrating, and despite traveling frequently across Canada, I have reservations about staying at this hotel again. I am genuinely disappointed with the overall service.

My husband and I have stayed at the Lakeview Signature Hotel, Winnipeg airport location many times as we have found it to be very easy to catch early morning flights being just across the road from the airport itself. The hotel is a 2-minute walk away. In our recent stay we were very unimpressed with many issues at this hotel. First it has become very out dated. Bathrooms are old, with old ugly bathtubs and dirty looking wall tile around the shower. Our toilet pulsed to fill which was very noisy during the night. The manual door lock did not work at all. The safety bolt was half ripped off and totally useless but the worst was the cleaning staff obviously did not clean the bathtub area. There were 2 used face clothes hanging on the handrail in the tub. First off the face clothes should have been removed and secondly they would have been noticed by the cleaning staff if they had cleaned the bathtub. Another issue was all evening there was at least one family that were on the floor above that allowed their children to run up and down all night. We had an early flight and needed sleep so by 10pm we contacted the lobby and they did get the noise to stop but it should not have gone on that long. We could also hear the planes for a good part of the night but that is to be expected with being so close to the airport. We will not be staying there again unless it is up dated.

I overnight here twice per months coming and going from work. The place is neat and tidy. Rooms are nice and generally quiet (beside the airport.) The food is really really good. I suggest the steak wrap or the burger. Room service is prompt given that this food is cooked from scratch.
