The room was pretty good with the exception of the shower area that could use some updating. Good location however you still need the shuttle so it doesn't really matter if you stay a few blocks up the street and save a lot of money....More
A 2 night stay in Winnipeg en route to Churchill. Walkable from airport terminal. 10-15 taxi rdie to city center, the Forks, Museums and more. Comfortable, clean rooms. Sports bar a noce feature. Staff was pleasant and courteous.
I stayed at this hotel October 17, 2016 for just one night prior to my trip to Churchill with Frontiers North. I was able to get a good rate with CAA and being a member also entitled me to cancel within 24 hours without penalty....More
This is a great place to stay if only flying in and out of Winnipeg. There is a shuttle that can pick you up, but the hotel is almost across the street. Out the door of the airport, through the Grand Hotel, follow the signs,...More
It was hard to find this hotel. Checking in was difficult. With two staff at the front desk, they did not seem to know what they were doing. They spent a long time to discuss and finally decided on one free breakfast when we had...More

Hi Caroline, the airport noise really varies per day / per guest. I'm sorry I can't be more specific. We've found that depending on our guest's sensitivity to noise it can be louder for some than others. It can also depend on the weather - if you can believe. Depending on wind strength and direction the planes can appear louder, along with temperature. We've found that when the air is colder, it seems to carry the noise further. Most people say they can't hear anything but there are a few people who are very sensitive to it and are disrupted. As for the breakfast, our prices vary from $9 for a continental buffet to $19 for steak and eggs. **personal recommendation - try the Eggs Benedict!

Parking lots are available next to the hotel, parking fee for hotel guests is $10 CAD per night. As far as I know they provide parking for hotel guests only, but it's well worth a try if you stay there at the beginning and the end of your trip. Otherwise, there's the Airport Parkade within a walking distance from the hotel/airport starting from $170 CAD for 12 nights.
