The washroom had a smell of mold or mildew. When I called the Spa there was no room for the clients of the hotel. There was some people on our floor smoking cannabis and it could be smelled all down the hallway. Breakfast at the Pancake House was good, I wish they had one at the hotel though. The shuttle to the airport was very nice. The decor is very dated and needs a good refresh. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice and tried to accommodate us well, my partner got ill and the manager was very kind and sent a driver to pick up her medications for us. We truly appreciated the help with the meds.

Great location close to good restaurants and shopping. Friendly and accommodating staff Very relaxing and great staff at the spa with very reasonable prices for the services offered. Mineral spa and hot tub was great but only one miner issue was steam room out of order hopefully repaired soon.

Thank you for keeping rooms so clean, much appreciate the housekeeping staff. I enjoyed that they had a beautiful pool and slide. The only thing is choices of snacks, at lobby. Also had no energy drinks. Thank you. Lol

We stayed during a weekend when the entire hotel was booked (we heard from a few in the lobby trying to check in that couldn’t get rooms) because there were so many people places like the pool and mineral spa were very crowded and not enjoyable for us. We travelled with our 1 year old and it was hard to find a spot to take him into the pool due to it being so crowded. We also found the rooms to be extremely loud so it was hard to sleep. You hear every single noise from other doors opening to people talking in the hallways. We paid for a suite and it was not worth the cost at all. The room was the same size as a regular room just separated into a bedroom and living room with a sliding French door entrance. The room was not very clean when we arrived so we avoided the shower and tub for the night and tried to avoid putting our son on the floor at all. Overall for the price we paid I would not give this more than 3 stars.

The room had a thermostat that didn’t work to adjust the temperature. I couldn’t sleep because my room was 73 degrees. I called down to the front desk around midnight and they said it couldn’t be turned down because something was turned off as they were expecting a snow storm later in the week. They said they’d try to send a fan up. No fan ever arrived. At check out the next morning I was offered a $50 discount on the room. I accepted and was told it might take 5 days for the credit to show up on my credit card bill. Ten days later the credit had not shown up so I emailed the reservations sales coordinator who replied “I have asked our Front Office Manager will follow up with you.” From that confusing sentence I’m not sure who was supposed to follow up with me but it has now been an additional 6 days and I have not heard back or received my partial refund. My son enjoyed the pool but it was a very expensive swim considering that was the only thing worth paying for. We will not be back.

We rented two rooms for three nights. One was an "accessibility" room for my daughter, the other a "regular" room for me. If I wasn't around my daughter could not have lived in that room. It requires an able bodied person to set up a way of using the toilet. There are no grab bars around the toilet. Getting into the bed required a step stool because of the bed's height. We were told when booking that the shower would not be accessible because it was in a tub and my daughters left leg is paralyzed so she couldn't get into the tub. The staff was very accommodating when our keys weren't working and they changed my room when the humming sound could not be eliminated (confirmed by the maintenance worker, Ian, who was especially helpful. The lift for the pool area was not working. Again staff helped my daughter get to the level of the pools and helped her get down the steps when we left. Clearly the definition of accessibility is not consistent with needs. However, the Clarion staff were willing helpers to overcome the problems we encountered.

Quite a list. Could not adjust heat. Someone came but clearly had no idea a what to do. Got a fan. This room was over $250 a night. Shower head couldn’t be moved to adjust, door separating bedroom off track Coffee provided was terrible.pool itself had rings of green discolouration all around d. Water was murky. For that price should have access to steam room and mineral pool without having to pay a daily rate

The first issue was parking. Limited space out front. Front desk staff was great! Thanks Raj!! It was busy when we arrived and he was fast, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious but not cleaned well and some of the furniture needs repair. Hot tub was not working. Pool area was very busy. There should be security or someone to deal with the homeless outside. The front of the hotel was not very appealing. A lot of garbage and cigarette butts on the ground. Very $$$$ for what you get.

Friendly staff, easy check in/check out, great location, highly recommended! My only issue was my truck was too high to fit into the underground parking, so if you have a lift on your truck you might want to look for other options. Luckily we were able to find a parking spot on the street in front of the hotel. Also Pancake House next door is a bonus.
