Nice older home, very well kept, very clean.
Friendly owner/ host. Our room was very comfortable, clean and charming.
Our host had prepared us a beautiful breakfast, had given us great advise as to the local attractions.
Over all we would recommend this B@B and would be happy to stay here again on our next road trip. Also Fredericton is a lovely small city. Lot of parks, walking and biking trails. A very nice city to go for a walk in.

Lovely old building overlooking St. John river and Fredericton and 15 minute walk from downtown via a walking trail across the old railway bridge. We booked a very large room split between bed and a lovely seating area with comfy settee and TV area which overlooked the river. Ultra fast Wifi connection. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. All very clean. Excellent large and varied breakfast and opportunity to sit around table with other guests. Really is a good base for exploring Fredericton and surrounding area.

Well worth visiting Kings Landing Settlement and Carribean Flavas in downtown does great carribean food.

We visited Fredericton, NB recently and stayed in the Rifles Suite of the Colonel's In B & B.
This suite is separate from the house over a garage and perfect in every respect. Cindy's attention to detail was flawless. The room had a big comfortable bed, a jacuzzi tub, a separate (excellent) shower, and refrigerator.

We were only steps away from the old railroad bridge (now reserved for pedestrians and bicyclists) to downtown Fredericton. The location couldn't be better.

Cindy served us a marvelous breakfast of blueberry scones, french toast with peaches, yogurt parfaits, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea. Cindy also gave us great information about what to see and do in Fredericton; it is not difficult to see why this inn has been so highly rated for the past 11 years!

When we return to Fredericton, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

We truly enjoyed this B&B during our one night stay in the quaint Hussar room. Cindy was a wonderful, welcoming hostess and very helpful. We could really see the attention to detail in everything (high quality toiletries, towels, amenities, fresh food ingredients). Our room was meticulously clean and the bed was very comfortable. Even the morning shower was a delight. Breakfast was heavenly and delicious...very satisfying yogurt fruit parfait, an egg souffle with toast and the freshly baked cinammon rolls were to die for! The B&B is also in a great location and we enjoyed our stroll along the pedestrian bridge for dinner. Fantastic experience...you can't go wrong with this B&B.

We stayed two nights in the Rifles suite (above the garage) over the Thanksgiving long weekend and thought it was terrific. Cindy and Ian were excellent hosts. The room was comfortable and quiet (the jacuzzi and private balcony were both nice perks!) and the breakfast was delicious. We loved being able to walk downtown across the footbridge in 20 minutes.

The Colonel's Inn where we stayed in the Rifles Room above the garage was spacious, well appointed and had everything we wanted from a coffee maker and fridge, to a bathroom with both bath and separate shower and plenty of space. Breakfast was ample and tasty and the hostes Cindy bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stayed with Jade just one night but it was an enjoyable experience. We stayed in the Garden Suite above the garage and it was quite lovely and very private. In the morning we joined other guests around the dining room table for a fabulous gormet breakfast. The price was right and the location just off the main highway was perfect for our travels. We will stay again when we are in the area.

We arrived with crossed fingers and no reservations.
After climbing a few steps onto the enclosed porch, I called the number and was greeted by a woman on the phone as though she was expecting me - very welcoming.

The Inn overlooks the river with pretty public parks and walkways for an evening stroll if you'd like.

This pretty young woman arrived and chatted like an old friend for a few minutes before taking us up to a second-story room. It was beautiful, clean, crisp, fresh and thoughtfully appointed.
Little touches like a night light in the bathroom, an honour-system snack bar in the room (just put the coins in the birdhouse next to the basket of snacks)(who'd put potato chips with in my reach! Cruel!!! LOL), a flashlight in the bedside table drawer, a supply of women's 'accessories' in the bathroom. A bathtub that allowed me a comfortable soak that night and a very comfortable bed. It was the nicest B&B I've been to.
Then it got better.
Breakfast in the morning was a delight - we visited with another couple who'd been on the road a while, while we enjoyed our deluxe breakfast platters. A bowl of vanilla yogurt with a sprinkling of blueberries and granola. Two perfectly cooked eggs with bacon AND a stack of perfectly made pancakes. Real maple syrup on the table. Juice, coffee refills ... Jade is a real pro and her professional and friendly manner make The Colonel a delight to stay in.
The decor is fresh and bright with lots of big windows and comfy seating, interesting artwork and antiques downstairs while upstairs is a tribute to regal military. Wide-plank pine floors that are beautifully restored throughout the house. Twelve inch baseboards.
Very well done.
Yes, we would not hesitate to come back again and truly hope we get the chance.

Had a lovely overnight stay at this B and B. The host was sweet and the property very clean. The queen room was a good size with large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, eggs and bacon on croissant plus fruit. Location within walking distance across the bridge to downtown Fredericton! I would return here for sure!
