Chose this Comfort Inn because we were travelling with a dog. Had a ground floor room and our parking spot was just outside the sliding door, so it was easy to transfer things to and from the room, particularly the dog. Room was a bit dated but had the usual appliances (fridge, microwave and coffee maker). Complimentary breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to several fast food places as well.

The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. My bed was comfortable. The property is well maintained. I had a room with two Queen beds. I had plenty of room to spread out. It would have been nice to have more than one chair in the room in case there is more than one guest.

This is one of the cleanest places I have stayed. You can see the pride of those who work and manage this hotel as everything is so well cared for. We used the guest laundry as we were travelling for a few weeks and it was an excellent and inexpensive experience. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel. What a pleasant stay!

The person at reception was excellent. After driving to our intended room, we realized our young pup would be stressed as she is afraid of other dogs. When I asked if we could move to a different room, we were offered a suite situated away from other dogs. It was wonderful. It allowed us to bring our dog in and out easily. The room was very comfortable. They also told us where to find a park just down the road. It was great to stretch our legs after a long drive. Thank you so much. It was a great stay.

I stayed here for one night. Nice clean room.. When I arrived the floor was wet and I told the front desk clerk. She said the maintenance man would be down. In the meantime I took a towel to clean up the floor as I could have fell. I thought the cleaning staff had just cleaned the room but not this late in the day. I took the towel to the front desk and showed her the dirt on it and said, I want you to know about this so I don't get charged for the towel. No problem she said. The maintenance man came down and mopped the floor and then put a fan on it. About an hour later the floor was nice and dry and things were fine. You get a continental breakfast here. Ice machines, etc. I was lucky to get a room as there were only 2 left at this busy time of the year. Most of the Comfort Inn's are laid out the same. Once you find your parking spot near your room you're good to go.

I was sent here by the manager of a former hostel, which had been itself turned into housing for homeless people. The desk clerk found me the cheapest room, which turned out to have a new queen-sized bed-perfect for a solo traveler.
The facility provided an excellent breakfast and had good WiFi. It helped that I was able to park close to my upstairs room, and not have to haul bags too far.

First time staying at this location. Have to admit I didn’t know what to expect. Very pleasantly surprised. Room was nicely maintained and clean. Had all the amenities as described. Only thing I would have preferred as a coffee maker was a Keurig. I like yo travel with my own flavoured coffee. But that’s just my preference. All said I would gladly stay here in the future. Thanks

Returned to the Comfort Inn because I had a great time last year. We went for a volleyball tournament again. Even though they were redoing the hotel it didn’t bother us any.it was quiet and the construction workers were polite. Breakfast is just your regular hotel breakfast. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are clean.

We made an unplanned stop here for one night on our way to Cape Breton, and though we weren't really disappointed it's nothing to write home about. Our room was very clean, supplied with the usual amenities and comfortable beds. It seemed as though it had been recently redecorated with the exception of the carpet, which looked a little worn and didn't quite match the rest of the room. The hotel was relatively full, but very quiet. Although the rooms on either side of us and across the hallway were occupied, we weren't bothered by any noise from our neighbors.

Breakfast was included in the room rate, but our two-year-old son woke up at about 4AM the next morning and couldn't be coaxed back to sleep. We decided to skip breakfast and make a very early start. On the way to the lobby we passed the breakfast room. We had to smile at the sign on the door which informs breakfasters in no uncertain terms that they are limited to ONE bread product, and ONE piece of fruit, etc. Apparently they have real problems with hoardes of uncouth, famished business travelers who pillage the breakfast room every morning, drinking up all the juice, tossing cereal about like confetti, and greedily trying to get away with having buttered toast AND a muffin with their banana.

For some unexplained reason the inside entrance to the lobby was locked, and the man at the desk just stood there looking at me while I balanced my son in one arm and tried to open the door with the other. Maybe he wasn't used to having people try to enter his lobby at 4:30 AM, or maybe it's standard policy to lock the door so that front desk staff aren't bothered by wandering insomniacs who want to chat with them while they're making up invoices. Who knows? Either way, my husband had to go outside to the front entrance to get into the lobby to check out. Strange.

The bottom line: This isn't a bad place. It's clean enough, and safe enough, and the location is all right. Judging from the reviews of other hotels in this area, though, you can probably find something better for your money.

The Comfort Inn Fredericton does have a storage area where people can store their belongings while they are in town. It's usually for guests who are leaving after regular check out times.
