This was my second stay here for business week. The staff is great and the rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is good and you can have eggs made to order with it as well. You can walk to tons of bars/restaurants or just go to the pub at the hotel, which is actually really nice.

This hotel is very beautiful. I stayed there for 3 nights in January 2020 for business.
The lobby is gorgeous--lots of marbel and a grand staircase. There are to bar/restaurants accessible thru the lobby so you don't need to go outside in the extreme January cold for lunch/dinner or beverages. Breakfast buffet is good.
I had a King bed room which was nearly new in decor. Very clean, with a comfy bed. The only note I would like to tell management is that the heat in the room needs to run constantly to keep a decent temp in winter because the heating units let in a lot of cold outside air, which you can feel on your feet. I'm sure this adds great expense to the hotel and fixing it could save them money and increase guest comfort. Also, the window drapes practically cover the heating unit exhaust, so the heat gets directed into the window and not into the room. I tucked the drapes into the window frame and the room did a better job staying warm.
Aside from that this is a lovely destination in downtown Fredericton and I plan on returning both for business and perhaps with my family in summer. Service was A+ on every level.

The Lord Beaverbrook is a grand old hotel. I'm glad it hasn't been torn down or ruined, as so many others have. It has been refurbished fantastically. The lobby was gorgeous and decorated beautifully for Christmas. Elevators worked great. I stayed on the sixth floor of the old, original part of the hotel. The room was nice and dark in the morning. It was quiet (a bit of street noise and hallway doors, but not bad). Outlets, lighting, wifi, TV, heat, etc. were all excellent. The bed was very comfy. Water pressure and shower were awesome. My corner room was very big and had three big windows with nice views. It was clean. A nice touch was some very nice artwork in the room. I had a fridge but no microwave (might have been able to get one if I had asked....didn't need it). Ryan at check in was excellent (I think he upgraded me). Penny at the desk in the morning was very helpful (made sure I had my "Fredericton bucks" that came with my package). Breakfast buffet was excellent, one of the best I have ever had. Great service there. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but checked them out and they seemed great. Parking was a breeze (got a pass at check in which allowed access to the back parking lot). The location of the Lord Beaverbrook can not be beat.....right across from the Legislature, the Playhouse, and the Convention Center and right next to the Beaverbrook Gallery. I paid about $200 US for the room (for Friday night). It was well worth it. My second stay here and it won't be my last! Best place in Fredericton and highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, my family and I will not be staying here again. Everything at this hotel has a fee which is not realistic for a young family. We splurged on a king suite and it was absolutely beautiful, but there was an additional fee for parking and no complimentary breakfast. Also, you can hear everything from the rooms. We were kept awake all night by people in the hallway. I will say the aesthetic of the hotel is amazing.

First off, we booked a 2 bath riverview suite, we were given a one bath city view suite, same price. Called the front desk, was connected to a dismissive kid, who told me you get what you get because you used 3rd party booking partner. I insisted a call from the manager, he called and gave me a big story about demand. I told him I booked a certain class of room and if he couldn't supply, don't charge me for it, adjust the price. He agreed, but it still cost me $200 extra.
2nd, the breakfast is $36 for a couple and it is cold eggs, cold waffles, and some other dried out bread and pastries. I have had better free lobby breakfasts. We paid $72 extra for 2 nights.
The hotel is dirty, we like using the stairs.This hotel back stairway is so dirty , grease from the back kitchen is half inch thick on some of the stair treads. The place is gross. Our sink is plugged, our garbage cans we full when we checked in.
The staff at this hotel is obviously beat up from customer complaints. They look like a deer in the headlights when you complain. It must be a terrible place to work.
Worst $1000 I ever spent for 2 nights. Hope they get this place back to good health.

We requested a larger room/suite, they told us "our best suites in the hotel" is one of the king suites on ground level. We knew it would be bad before we even opened the door (you go down a ramp next to pool area) but OMG , dark and dingy doesn't even come close. Please Crowne Plaza , don't market this as a top suite. It faces the parking lot next to the side door where all the smokers congregate and the lighting is a florescent of some type (looks like a lunchroom or pool changeroom was converted into a hotel room) . Stains all over the 2 couches. The bathroom circa 1975 and we didn't even take photos as we turned around so quickly to escape this joke of a room. I guess this is a pet friendly suite, but it is not a guest friendly suite that is for sure. Our friends stayed on 6th floor which they said was much better. We had no luck to change rooms and checked into the hotel across the street instead.

Very nice hotel. Check in was awesome with very welcoming front desk staff. The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Wifi services are easy to sign onto and the speeds are very quick. Breakfast is included. Parking is available. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting an elderly relative in Woodstock. Beautiful older hotel, very pretty details in the main lobby and Maxwells restaurant. Would be a lovely venue for a wedding.
We stayed in the west wing in room 101. Rooms were renovated in 2018 I believe, so they have a more modern feel. Keurig machine in the room for coffee. Mini fridge and microwave. Everything was very clean. Room 101 was close to the elevator and pool and there were hockey teams staying there this weekend so it was a bit noisy at times but not too bad.
Pool and hot tub were nice. The hot tub is large and could accommodate at least 10-12 people. Pool was a nice temperature, but needs a bit of maintenance as the paint was chipping off and bits of paint were always on the floor. Sauna was not working. Pool had great hours, 5:30am - 11:00pm, so we were able to enjoy with our older kids after all the hockey teams got out of there around 9-9:30
Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which was in Maxwells restaurant. Buffet was well appointed. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes or waffles, muffins, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, granola, cereal, juices etc. I really liked that they brought an insulated carafe of coffee to the table so you didn’t need to ask for refills.
Staff were lovely and responded positively to any requests during our stay. Parking on site is $13/day. Location is great, right on the river and running/walking trails right behind the hotel along the water. Would be a great spot in the summer.
Overall an excellent stay and so nice to see an older hotel with character and history that’s been well maintained.

We stayed at this hotel because it is directly across the road from the Fredericton Playhouse. It's very convenient to be this close to downtown. Our room was VERY tiny. And it was $300 for one night with the tax and $15 parking. You could literally not turn around in the room it was so small. The room was not very clean, the extra comforter that was in the closet was covered in stains. The bathroom was reasonably clean except for the shower door which was glass and covered in smears. The onsite restaurant had a pretty good breakfast, the server made me fresh oatmeal because I didn't want the small packaged Maple Syrup oatmeal that was provided. They didn't have non dairy creamer for the coffee, but she provided Almond Milk for us from the kitchen. The bathroom in the restaurant area wasn't very clean either. There were patched holes that had been plastered over but were not painted. The hotel needs a major refresh. Some paint and cleaning would go a long way. I think next time I'll stay at the hotel across the street (Hilton Garden Inn).

I stayed at the Lord Beaverbrook for two nights while in Fredericton for business. The room was pleasant enough albeit with disproportionately small windows given the size of the room and the potential for a lovely view of the river. The room was comfortable and clean. My colleagues and I booked a small meeting room for the purpose of having a video call with clients in other parts of Canada. The internet was woefully slow and made the call almost useless. I cannot understand how a hotel that's part of the IHG chain could have such pathetic internet in 2022.

Our Club floor guestrooms feature: a newly renovated guestroom, full hot buffet breakfast served daily in Maxwell’s restaurant, one daily alcoholic beverage and daily hors d'oeuvres served in our Club Lounge from 5pm-8pm, complimentary bottled water, premium Beekman bath amenities, Keurig coffee maker, bath robes, mini fridge.
All of our guestrooms have been recently renovated, and all feature a mini fridge.
Breakfast is not included. My wife and I chose to spoil ourselves with breakfast in bed and we fully enjoyed our leisurely morning. We don't recall the cost but I recall it was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food we ordered.
