It is not a five star Inn let me say that first. No ritz or glamour. It is the oldest hotel in Fredericton. Having said all that the price was great the place was clean and breakfast was a lot better than most of the standard free breakfasts. We were lucky and were able to check in early and front desk was very helpful in making sure we could. Thank you

I had an overall wonderful experience here. The outside looked a little dingy so I was a bit hesitant but all the rooms are renovated inside with microwaves, fridges very comfortable beds and bedding. I stayed for three nights in May and made a special request for my stay in June and the front desk staff were able to accommodate my request. It really made a big difference, for my trip. The staff overall were friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to help me and it ensured a wonderful stay.

Need to accommodate the disability. Great A/C for the extremely hot weather. Nice central location. Great bar fridge to keep our milk and juice very cold. Wifi went out to fix it promptly, just needed to tell the customer that it was fixed.

charged $155 per room. booked 4.5 weeks in advance when rates were lower (~$110). received invoice for $155 after my stay. no confirmation email sent when I booked because they "didn't have my email" so I can't even contest the rates (I gave them my email during booking), but I know that booking 4.5 weeks in advance should not have cost 155/night. I am 100% sure of this because I chose not to stay at another hotel that gave a special rate for the tournament I was attending. That hotel was $135 a night and I chose to save money instead, so I certainly would not have paid $155/night. When I asked for the booking confirmation email to be sent to me (after the stay), the concierge declined to do so. Food was bad too. Sausages tasted like it had cardboard.

Stayed here because it was pet friendly (and in case you are not familiar, when a hotel says they are 'pet friendly' they really mean that they have a couple rooms that they allow pets in, if they are already booked no more friendly!... for this hotel that pet had to be 40lbs or less). Pretty run down, might have been an OK hotel at one time but whoever owns it now doesn't seem to plan to upkeep it. You could see how they cut corners at every turn... we cross the country a lot, and stay at Days Inns often so are familiar with how they usually are. This one had a mish mash of shampoo and soap brands, usually they are uniform but it's like this one picked up the scraps from 3 seperate hotels. There was no soap in the room, I had to go ask for that. The beds are comfortable. The toilet handle sticks and even when unstuck the toilet runs every few minutes. The breakfast area is small and crowded, and it seems that they turn down the heat or the time on their very old looking waffle makers because everybody's waffles were coming out looking half cooked. Mushy to eat. Lots of awkward sudden slopes and little steps to trip on. The check in staff were friendly.

We used the hotel twice this week, booked online through a booking site. Travelocity, I think. We were 3 people and two very small dogs so we needed a pet friendly room. The first time, after payong a premium for a pet friendly hotel online, we were told it wasn't a pet friendly room but we could have it anyway (they didn't want to put us out) but there was an extra pet fee. We accepted it and didn't complain when we saw how run down it was with dirty stained bedskirts falling off the beds and used condoms and sanitizer bottles outside the back entrance. The second time we booked (very late notice of travel and need gor last minute bookings) we made certain to select a pet friendly room on the booking site after putting in our info. Upon arrival they stated that we did not put in the third person so that was an extra fee. Again there was the same fee for the dogs, although I had a screen shot that proved it was booked as a pet friendly room. I was told the fee is in the fine print. Last time it was because we didn't book pet friendly. This time it was just policy. Each time the cost was near 200 for very uncomfortable mattresses, far below industry decor and cleanliness, and a bad experience. We won't be returning. I've attached images of the corridor, interior walls and decor, and the used bottles still outside the door. Note that single people may not feel safe using the back entrance. It's poorly lit, hedged, and far away from the road.

Hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Zero regard for the guests. The hallways stunk like cigarette smoke and everything could use a good cleaning. Had an employee try to enter my room without knocking at 5:45pm with an armload of towels. I told them we were ok because I was heading out and didn't think we needed fresh ones in the room. (Clearly I should have taken all he would give me) because later the same day when we asked at the front desk for a towel for the pool (as stated to do so on the door of the pool) we were told we needed to use the towels in our room, which we only had 2 of, for 2 people, for 2 nights. When I said we would need another so my daughter could shower after the pool I was told I needed to use the one from my room, bring it back to the desk and swap it for a clean one. When I stated that I thought that was ridiculous because I was already down there, and shouldn't have to go back and forth 3 times for the sake of 1 towel I wad told "mam, your room isn't that far" EXCUSE ME? It was actually a decent trek, but regardless, you don't know my mobility or anything else. I just want a towel for the pool.
After that whole debacle, I came back to my room and tried to microwave something for a few seconds and we lost all the power to our room. I proceeded back to the front desk to tell them we lost all of our power and she sends someone up to check the breakers. This girl tries to tell me it's my fault because we used the hair dryer and the microwave at the same time. We never touched the hair dryer. The only thing we were using was the one ceiling light and the microwave. So then she comes into the room and starts switching the plugs around and plugs the microwave into the alarm clock as if that will make any difference, it's all still using the same power source all while making comments implying that I'm the reason that the appliances were plugged in the way they were.
I've stayed in many hotel rooms in my lifetime and never once was I treated with such an utter lack of respect. I will never be back and I urge others to choose elsewhere as well.

Room - not swept - felt dirty Breakfast - absolute worst I've ever had at a hotel - sausages - not fit for rats, eggs - extremely runny Noise - woke up to banging on the next door around 12:15 - this lasted for 15-30 minutes. When I finally had had enough and went to see what was going on - a member of staff just explained that the door was stuck and these people had just arrived. Oh - okay, so I'm supposed to wake my whole family because you're hotels don't open and close properly? I wouldn't stay here again if it were free.

We booked this hotel last minute as we were coming into Fredericton and just needed a place to stay over for the night so we booked here. The hotel is slightly outdated but the room itself was fine. We were totally expecting the worst staying in an older hotel however the floors in the room are brand new. There was no carpet anywhere. Although some of the reviews say that the hotel has a bad smell we did not find that at all. The bathtub was very new and a deep soaker style so me being pregnant I loved that part! We normally stay at a higher end hotel than this but we both said this morning that this was the best sleep we ever had. The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. I find at most hotels I’m up all night fiddling with the pillows trying to find a comfortable position but I didn’t wake up once. The breakfast this morning was top notch for compared to other hotels! Lots of options! Eggs, sausage, fresh fruit (pineapple, watermelon, banana, etc.). They have tons of bread options, yogurts and a make your own waffle station. There were a lot of kids here as I think there was a hockey game going on however we didn’t hear anything in the halls. We didn’t check out the pool however it looked great! We highly recommend this place and we will stay here again if we are ever in the area :)

We booked this facility as a pet friendly property. 90 minutes prior to our arrival we were called out of the blue by the facility and informed that the pet friendly room we booked was in fact not pet friendly. The facility told us that they were cancelling our reservation and we would have to find accommodation elsewhere. Notwithstanding the error in booking I have never been cut loose by a hotel without the hint of assistance or a suggestion of an alternative. They just continue to blame us for not booking the correct room via Hotels.com even though we searched for pet friendly facilities. We were able to book with Holiday Inn Express which is our Go To from now on.
