Detailed Reviews
I needed a place to stay in between apartment rental move in and out times and thought of the Prospect Inn which is nicely situated at the end of Prospect Street and close to uptown Fredericton.
From the very beginning we were met with warm hospitality and ease. This family owned and run business offers its clients a pet friendly place to stay weather for extended short visits like mine for three weeks or much longer including permanently. There are even laundry facilities on site making it very convenient! If I should ever be in the need again, I would not hesitate to stay here again, given its warm and friendly environment and affordability for people on a budget like me.

After we had left another hotel that had turned out to be a disaster we fled to the Prospect. The woman running the place was Fantastic. We looked at the room before checking in and when we saw how well kept the rooms are we decided to stay. The rooms are outdated but there was a mini-fridge, a coffee machine, and a television with cable and we were comfortable with that. As long as we're sleeping in a clean place we're pretty happy. The breakfast the next day, along with being super cheep, was super tasty. Once again we everyone was super helpful in directing us about the city and giving us suggestions about where to go and what to see. This place has excellent service from excellent staff!

I have stayed here many times over many years. In the last 3-4 years it has become a regular stop on my way to Nova Scotia. It's exactly as advertised, a basic hotel with great prices. Our room had a microwave and fridge plus the usual fittings. Some rooms are drive-up which is handy for a one night stay or with lots of luggage. There's a lovely little home style restaurant (Uncle Pete's) with great breakfasts. It's a 10 minute drive from downtown along the river. On this trip we found lovely Christmas treats in the lobby!
It's the excellent service that makes the difference here. Call for a reservation. Thank you Norm, we hope to see you again next trip.

Hello Gary and Kim. Its always a pleasure having you stay here on your way thru. I am grateful for your glowing review but it did make my ego swell just a bit haha. I just want people to know that they get their money's worth and we are offering a regular room without all the bells and whistles. Thanks again. See you later this month. Cheers Norm

I had the opportunity to stay at the Prospect Inn last weekend and I have to say that I was very impressed. I met Norm Boudreau, the Manager and felt immediately comfortable I could tell by his friendly and thoughtful manner as well as his in depth knowledge of Fredericton and its attractions that he would be a great help to me during my first visit to the area. I also felt that he would be there for me with his amazing customer service if I was to find any problem with my room/stay. I am very pleased to say that my room was great. It was very clean and looked inviting. I had everything that I needed and found that the bed was amazing and I had a really great sleep! I found the price to be very affordable as well and I will definitely be back! I recommend you try out the Prospect Inn on your next trip to Fredericton.

Arrived very late, with reservations, the lobby was staffed by a very drunk middle women sleeping on a lazy boy who upon our very late arrival woke and said "I wasn't sleeping".
The room were old, and smelled, the TV looked like it was the first color TV ever made.
Thinking things couldn't get worse, upon pulling down the sheets we found stains with pubic hair!
We couldn't believe it...

Upon arrival I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and had a great layout. I was able to get a musician's rate which really helped to cut some of my costs for the weekend. I would recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting Fredericton!

My husband and I have been staying at the Prospect Inn for the past 18 years whenever we travel out East. This Motel has nice, clean and renovated rooms and has a Restaurant connected. Very simple but affordable and super nice people are running it.

Hi William. Thanks for taking the time to review your stay here. We do love the business and working away at this property to bring it back it its glory days. Our prices reflect the ongoing work. What we try to excel at is treating people like yourself the way we want to be treated in a Maritime hotel. Thanks again. Hope to see you again. Cheers Norm

We happened to come across the Prospect Inn driving threw Fredericton. It was very late, but the manager Norm was there to greet us with the most friendliest, courteous, professional attitude that made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, and fantastically refurbished, at a very reasonable price. We had a great night sleep and a fantastic stay! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Norm for the wonderful service!
