We typically stay at Quality Inn every time we go out of town and are always happy with our stay and service. We have stayed at the Fredericton location many times and have always been happy with them. This time, I was very disappointed to see that after they recently just did renovations they removed the microwave from the room. Why would they do this. We are the type of people who do not necessarily eat out at take outs, we sometimes pick stuff up from grocery stores that require microwaves to heat it up, and sometimes like to reheat our coffee. I hope they did not decide to remove the microwave from all locations or I may start booking with another chain which I really do not want to. The room was very clean like usual and staff very friendly and professional like usual. I would highly recommend this chain for your stay out of town... but don't expect to be able to take food back to the room and heat it up!…
I had a king size room on the first floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Several mentioned that it was a great breakfast and I decided to come here. I was here for meetings. The breakfast was not my thing. The eggs were overdone, the bacon was oozing with grease and sausages weren’t that appealing either. Decided to try the hash browns and they tasted like they had been stuffed for days in a drawer full of stinky socks. They tasted horrible. I decided to grab some toast and an orange juice. There was no fruit or oatmeal I could see. Anyway, there was a waffle maker machine but I didn’t feel like rich foods at this point. Some fruit even canned would be nice. What I didn’t like was how unprofessional the staff was. Upon checking in, the attendent saying out loud my room number, with several other people checking in behind me. I’m a woman by myself and would rather keep that info confidential. It never happens anywhere, I’ve been before. Housekeeping, coming to my door twice to come clean my room when I’m still there. It was 8:45 again that has never happened to me before. Maybe it’s just the way it is in Fredericton? It did ask me when I was checking in when I had planned on leaving...I had marked 10:00 am. Maybe they don’t read? Anyway, I’m not usually negative in my comments but I found this hotel very unprofessional.…
We were looking for a hotel at the last minute and this hotel was available. For the rate, it exceeded our expectations. It was clean, updated and comfortable. The morning breakfast was included and offered many options.
We travel to Fredericton several times per year and always try to stay here. With two kids, a regular double room doesn't work because someone needs to sleep on the floor. We always get the family suite with a king bed for us and two singles for the kids. Only had one mixup where we were "upgraded for free" to a king suite (GORGEOUS ROOM), but it didn't work for us because there was only a king bed and sleeper sofa. No good for two kids. We thanked the front desk and they put us back in our regular suite without hesitation. Breakfast is good here. Lots of variety - three hot items, cereal, fruit, all that you would expect.
I'm just returning from 2 nights at the Quality inn in Fredericton. The room was soooo comfortable. It is well-appointed and clean. I would love to own that mattress and pillows-I slept very well. The TV is a good size and easy to figure out (channel 5 for the directory.) Breakfast was amazing. Eggs, hash browns, sausage (one day, bacon the next) beans etc. When visiting Fredericton I always check with this hotel's availability.
