I had high hopes considering the price. My daughter and myself stayed in what is called the Deluxe 2 queen beds. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful and check in was quick. The room was just average. Bathroom was great tho with a huge shower. The biggest complaint with this hotel, NOISE! I swear the walls are made from paper. You can hear the conversations of your neighbours and people in the hallway very clearly. We were also fairly close to the elevator so heard every ding and the automated voice announce the floor, every. single. time 🤦🏻‍♀️ There was a concert on site so perhaps the price of our room was highly inflated, but for $361.66, definitely NOT worth it. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Moncton and there are some really greats ones for far cheaper. Also, no breakfast 👎🏻 probably will not return

This was a tough review to write, we stayed at the Casino hotel Aug 9th and 10th 2024, we were there to see a show at the Molson Canadian Centre. We stayed in room 414, room was very large and comfortable but had peeling wall paper in bathroom ( as seen in photos) chips and damage to bedroom wall, but over all comfortable room just showing it's age. The staff were wonderful 10 outta 10, both front desk and cleaning. at this point I would give a 4 outta 5 except for...........parking. Parking was horrible. if there is a show don't expect to have and parking out front of the hotel after 7pm. There are to parking area out back but no back entrance so expect a 100m to 200m walk around the hotel to get to the front, sucks if it raining. So if my advice if your coming to the casino or the see a show the hotel is great place to stay, if your coming to Moncton to see other attractions stay at a different Hotel.

Had the king size bedroom and it was huge. Robes were available, large bathroom , casino can be accessed from 2nd floor so you don't have to go outside. Beautiful wall unit with doors enclosing the TV, coffee and drink glasses, safe, closet. Bed was really comfortable. IHOP was within walking distance.

We have been to this hotel multiple times but the check-in changed within the last year or so and now NO ONE is allowed to check in before 4pm they advised. We arrived earlier this month at 2:20 pm and asked to check in, the girl told us to come back in an hour to and hour and a half. We asked if we could do all the paperwork now and then at 4 just grab our key and she said no, that we would have to do it again....that makes zero sense....if the paperwork is done beforehand why would we have to redo it....She was just too lazy to do it for us. We went back at 3pm and the lobby was full of people waiting to check in. They said none of the rooms are ready....that makes no sense because they can't clean all rooms between 3-4pm when check in is done. We did get checked in around 3:30-3:40pm but our room request was not ready so they moved us to another floor....I was not waiting in that line again. Every other hotel that we have stayed at, allows check in as soon as the rooms are released. Not sure why they don't. The guests in the lobby were all furious so not sure why the Casino Hotel wants to infuriate their guests and start their vacation in a bad mood. We walked by the lobby (intentionally) at 4:30 & 5:30 and there was still a line-up....this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. And as many other reviewers have stated the hotel rooms are very worn and need to be updated.

What a tired and depressing hotel. The exterior was not maintained; no weeding, parking lot clean up or TLC. The rooms were tired and stale. Felt like we better take everything with us because the locks might be on the doors when we come back. Check in was friendly and they accepted dogs; two positives. No email confirmation when making the reservation, no email reminder, no email final invoice. Like a trip back to the 1980s. Have stayed here previously when it was a going concern and had a much better experience. The price was top dollar compared to alternatives;I will be staying someplace that takes more care of their facilities and guests.

Stay away! I don’t write reviews often but I had to write one for this hotel. We stayed one night in a king room #416. The room was huge but very dark and dingy. The furniture has seen better days and the dump is the best place for it. The chairs in the room have no cushion left in the seats and they are faded and dirty. The carpet on the floors need replacing perhaps a good cleaning would help. There were red stains on the floor which we hoped were juice or wine but who knows. The bathroom was also very huge the tiles need a deep cleaning the corners have permanent dirt in them. Their shower is more of a mist it’s warm but definitely not hot. There is a huge gross stain in the shower along with cracked tiles. The walls had tape and stains on them from previous guest . We would have left but all the hotels in the area were full. I asked to speak to the manager in the morning but apparently he was much too busy. I did tell the staff I was going to write this review they seemed happy we were told they have heard this complaint many times and maybe management would listen if more people wrote reviews. Oh and we paid over 250$ for the night on this whole.

This hotel looked promising,. The rooms were large and although somewhat dated, had updated bathrooms..however the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything in neighbouring rooms..and when you are next to teenagers that does not make for an enjoyable stay..the hotel has yet to reopen the spa and the restaurant in the casino is only open minimal hours. The only saving grace was the courteous front desk staff who helped us in checking out early and cancelling with booking.com.

We stayed at the Casino Hotel on Feb 15 for the Trews concert. I was very disappointed with how thin the walls were in the rooms you could hear everything. With the cost of the rooms I would think that they would make the walls a little thicker so you do not have to whisper to the other people in the room. We got a noise complaint after the concert and all we were doing was talking and we did laugh a bit in our room with the door closed but dear God you should not have to whisper. The worst was the next morning we woke up to someone being sick in the next room and it sound like the person was in our room. You could hear people's conversations even with the tv on. It was our first and last stay at the Casino. When I pay over $300 for a room I expect to not have paper thin walls. Very disappointing for sure.

I stayed at the hotel for one night with my dogs. I thought the space in the room for the dogs was great. No complaints. But on the other hand, the restaurant was terrible. For anyone that has an allergy, I would advise you to avoid this restaurant at all cost! I am gluten-free because of celiac allergy. They absolutely knew nothing in regards to gluten-free food. They even had food listed on the menu as gluten free which totally was not. I ended up being very sick because of this. In this day and age every restaurant should know about allergies! It's not a joke. The hotel I would give a 4 rating. The restaurant a 0 rating.

Rooms are dark, not enough lighting. No luggage rack. Awful, hard slabs for pillows. Room was large, clean and the bed itself comfortable. Pool water was cold, rain shower cold and sticky slimy type stuff in spots above the water line in the hot tub. Check in was quick and clerk friendly even though the lobby was very busy with many people checking in.

Is the hotel kid friendly? We would like to bring our 1 year old.
Answer from Julien R
Moncton, Canada
Dear RightMeow, Thank you for inquiring about our hotel. Here at Hotel Casino NB each of our rooms does include free WIFI, free local calls and free parking. We also have our pool, gym and Spa facility for our guest to enjoy. The hotel does accept reservations including children. Unfortunately, children are not allowed in the restaurants, since you need to be over the age of 19 to walk on the gaming floor. Parents would be able to order in room dinning. Children are permitted in the pool area when accompanied by an adult. If you wish to make a reservation or obtain more information our reservation coordinator can be reached at 1-877-859-7775.
