Rodd Moncton is a three and a half Star hotel located in the heart of Downtown Moncton. The hotel overlooks the famous Tidal Bore waterfront and sidelines Tidal Bore Park. The hotel is only one of a few within walking distance of the downtown Moncton business district and Champlain Place Mall. The beds are excellent.The rooms are clean,although a bit dated,but that did not deter our experience.We went here due to my Brother passing away.The hotel was really accommodating.The rooms were warm,inviting and comfortable.The staff could not be more friendly….even a handwritten card of condolence in my room! Walking distance to The Keg for a steak dinner as well.It is right beside a park so you could walk your dog.

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Rodd in Moncton. The Front Desk staff - Fatima - made us feel welcome. Housekeeping staff led by Jessi were able to respond quickly to anything we needed. The location is close to the main area of downtown and is situated right next to a beautiful walk that extends for a long distance. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and appreciated the service from the staff at the hotel! We will be back. By the way, the breakfast was good too.

It’s difficult to find a clean and affordable quality hotel in a convenient location these days of high inflation so we were very pleased that this Rodd property checked all the boxes. We were very happy with the property overall and the superb cleanliness. It’s obvious this hotel cares about the comfort off their guests. It is as nice as it sounds. This is not the Hilton but it is lovely. Good price point and clean.

50% of rooms are facing a busy road with T junction opposite and many bumps in road. There was no attempt to reduce noise from road traffic through windows or aircon unit consequently sleeping was broken by traffic noise and sirens.
The toilet pan is from a dolls house and even a waste bin is higher!!
Breakfast at the weekend was really poor with limited choice and on a weekday only marginally better.
We asked for a room on river side but we're told none available so don't rely on any requests made
Can only suggest booking somewhere else until they fit secondary glazing, ducted aircon, adult wc"s and improve breakfast.
Shame to write such a review as there were many good features. The hotel design team failed to design for the location in favour of aesthetic details.

This was my second stay over the past year and I plan to stay at the Rodd Moncton on futures trips to Moncton, New Brunswick. Rodd Hotels and Resorts are long established in the Canadian Maritime provinces. I remember this property on Rue Main Street in Moncton since it is a landmark in downtown Moncton and in my lifetime it was formerly The Park House. While the property is longstanding Rodd Hotels and Resorts is constantly investing in the property to maintain a decor that is on trend and making you feel like they anticipated your needs, staying up to date and continually earning your business and gaining your loyalty. Location is everything and with the free parking you could choose to explore downtown Moncton on foot, while everything else is in close proximity by car. Staff are welcoming and accommodating and the reception area is bright and cheerful. Rooms are tastefully updated and I love the modern-traditional plaid hallway carpeting that is a bit of a solute to the Maritimes history and a statement on its contemporary confidence. The complimentary breakfast is a time saving convince set in what would make a wonderful restaurant location with a view to the adjacent park and Rue Main Street. Staff were present and attentive to support patrons with their self-service breakfasts to ensure items were stocked and provide assistance. The Rodd Moncton Hotel is competitively priced without compromise.

It's a great location, about 5-10minutes walking distance to the stores and the restaurants. Very convenient location. There's the bike path right behind if you want to go for a nice walk and its along the river. Staff were friendly and clean hotel. If your coming on your motorcycle there's some rooms that you can park your bike right in font of your room.

The Good: check-in was simple. The room was clean upon arrival. Bed was comfy, and the heater actually worked.
The ok: toilet slow to flush. Hotel still uses individual bottles of shampoo and body wash, instead of a reservoir of the product

Staff is extremely helpful. Went for a business meeting and the facilities staff (Annalyn) was very quick to respond and helped customize the experience for exactly what we needed. Snacks and refreshments were great. Be aware that if you do get rooms at the front along the street, it can be a bit noisy, but not too bad if you are expecting it. Plus they provide a complimentary sleep kit with earplugs.

This is the second time our Cole Harbour Comets have stayed at this hotel for the annual Moncton Classic. We’ve stayed in many hotels across Atlantic Canada but the service for this group booking was fantastic. Danny and his team helped me set up the group booking which we had approximately 50 rooms. The hotel provided a board room for the teams to gather which allowed a safe space for eating meals, playing cards, making tik toks, team meetings, etc. managing a booking this large across 4 teams is difficult but Danny provide quick email support to me. We will be back next year!
