My bedroom and bath were excellent and clean. The breakfast was a full hot one made by a cheerful lady, Charlene. The location was perfect and easy to find. We enjoyed the safe for securing items, and the large fridge that wasn't full of high priced treats

unfortunately, this experience was a failure for us. from the extra facecloths left on the floor ( ! ) in the corridor ( ! ) in front of our room, where dogs also walk... to both our magnetic keys which did not work one single night on six, which forced us to go back down, and up again every time, being told how to carry their cards (except we are frequent travelers, and nothing of the sort ever happened anywhere else)... to free access to utensils where we would see only the handles and had to touch to see which was which (isn't it pandemy ?)... urrgh...

They were late to check in, I wasn’t even assisted by the two staff behind the desk, who were apparently too busy looking at a phone to notice me waiting. It was a late check in, I said no problem. Went off and did what I needed to. Came back to find I had waited for nothing because apparently housekeeping missed my room completely. My sheets were dirty, and when I went to call down to the front desk I realized the phone was broken.. I went down to the lobby and politely told the lady at the front desk about my issue, and she said housekeeping is done for the day and handed me sheets for me to carry up to my room and remake the bed myself. I won’t be back.

We just got back from a 4 day 3 night stay here. To be honest, the hotel did the job for what we needed. We booked a room with a large sofa/sofa bed, kitchenette (sink, bar fridge and microwave) and a separate room with a king size bed. Perfect for us as our 4 year old had his own bed and tv and we could shut the door once he was asleep. The only downside is that the AC unit is in the main bedroom, so with the door shut, it got a bit warm in the living room..The beds are very comfortable and the room itself is large. However, the carpet is quite old and makes the room feel a bit dingey. If you are staying less that three nights, you do not have any cleaners come to your room. Hence, no fresh towels, top up of toilet paper or changing of garbage. We did go to the front desk and ask for more towels/washcloths/toilet paper and they were happy to supply. I wasn’t bothered by the beds not being changed as they were very clean when we arrived. The proximity to Magic Mountain/Magnetic Hill etc is amazing! Less than a 5 minute drive. You also have The Boardwalk and every possible restaurant you could ever want! Something for everyone. Location is a major pro for us and this was just perfect. Now onto the major cons - free breakfast. Yes, it is free. BUT you cannot serve yourself. They have one worker (bless her as people are NOT very nice) who is serving everyone. This includes making their toast, bagels and serving up the hot food. She’s doing a lot and the line was very long each morning. We didn’t stay our first morning as it was going very slow, second morning I almost got to it and my son had a meltdown (yay us). The selection of items available was great though (we did manage to come down closer to the end and there was no line - so we grabbed a few things). Eggs, potatoes, sausages, oatmeal, bagels, toast, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, milk/juice, and tea/coffee available 24/7 in the lobby as well. Just the time it takes to get your food is a bit silly. Lots of families and the one worker having to serve up 4-6 plates at a time. We managed to score breakfast on our last morning and I made sure to let her know she was doing a great job! We were booked on the highway side of the building which, depending on how much of a sound sleeper you are, can be very loud. I didn’t mind too much but my husband did. There also happened to be a group of bikers here on our first two days and because our windows are in the parking lot, it made it very noisy when they would start their bikes and drive away/ come back. So not very soundproof. The grounds themselves had lots of cans/garbage laying around (very busy here so possibly due to that) and it seemed to take a while for it all to get cleaned up. It didn’t really bother us but just something we noticed. The stairways had a lot of dust and dirt in them. As we were only on the second floor we just parked on the side and came through the side door. But both stairways looked as though they haven’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a very long time. Lots of cobwebs and spiders as well. All in all, it did the trick. Proximity was good, size of the room and cleanliness was good and hotel staff were pleasant. Worth the $$ we paid to stay. I’m not sure I would pay any more than what we did (119 a night for a two bedroom suite). A bit dated and needs some refreshing.

Is just and old Hotel room form the 90s, with a scary bathroom and not a good breakfast service, plus WIFI is a joke, too much money for a single stay. I have been in other hotel from Travelodge and this one is far behind from the others
