My partner did an early check in to book our room. We showed up 10 minutes early and they said the room wasn’t ready yet, but they could get everything set up that we could just come get the keys in a bit. When we came back an hour later, our room was GIVEN AWAY 😂 and now we’re on the parking lot side of the second floor above the pool. Happy anniversary my love. Free breakfast though.
Was a bit skeptical about this hotel based on the reviews, but had a great stay. Room was on the fourth floor so noise wasn't an issue during our stay. Hotel is fairly new and given the price, which seems lowest in the general area, they're well appointed and very comfortable. Close to the Avenir Center, and steps from the heart of the downtown. The pool is actually heated, which is a plus. Decent fitness center. Restaurant and bar with patio seating on site. Would definitely recommend this hotel for staying downtown Moncton.
We used this hotel as a half way stop on our way to Nova Scotia. It exceeded our expectations. Clean, quiet and comfortable, what else could you want. Food service was very good, again much better than expected. This is a little off the Trans Canada highway, but a reliably comfortable stop over hotel.
This hotel is perfect! It is extremely clean, rooms are spacious and quiet! Close by everything and the beds are very comfortable! If you are attending an event at the Avenir Center, it is 2 minute walk from the front door! Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Moncton!
My wife and I stayed here twice because we were so pleased with our first stay. The hotel is pretty new and has all the features you need like USB plugs everywhere for your devices. The bathrooms are wonderful with huge walk in showers. The pool is nice too, The front desk staff were great, friendly and helpful, and a special mention to Carrie the housekeeping manager, she was wonderful. So that is why we stayed there again on your way back from Nova Scotia
We booked for 5 days from August 20 to 25, but stayed only 4. On the first evening, the entire wall unit holding the safe fell off the wall on my wife when she went to open the safe. She suffered bruised arms, knees and an injured back. NOT A WORD of apology from the hotel manager. Not a letter under the door or anything. Management never even bothered to leave a message. Nothing. The housekeeping manager took photos of the unit that was mounted in plain drywall. Nothing structural, just drywall. Had this fallen on a child, there would have been more serious injuries. The front desk staff said that management would "do something for us". Didn't see the hotel manager. They did give us three "complementary breakfast coupons" which aren't really free - only up to $15, which limits choices on the menu. They never replaced the safe in our room. The second day, while my wife was at the front desk, one of only two elevators dropped several floors with a person inside. He was understandably shaken by this experience. That's two incidents in two days. Not a good safety record. Other items. The parking garage door sometimes doesn't open.. We occasionally needed to back up and approach several times for it to recognize our Kia Niro. This is a new hotel. Clearly there are construction problems here.…
Only stayed here one night on my 2 wk trip. Decent location. Property was very clean and staff were exceptional. Breakfast was included. It was a full service breakfast and was delicious. Hotel was very quiet and I had a decent sleep. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
Stopped here while returning from a trip to the Gaspe Peninsula. It is hands down the best Hilton Garden we have had the pleasure of staying in. It is new, so all of the suggestions that have been penned by guests over the years to improve a hotel stay has been accommodated. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and get this - there are more than enough outlets to take care of everyone's devices to include iPhones, laptops, razors, electric tooth brushes and hearing aid chargers. Life is good! The restaurant is also a great spot to sample locally crafted beer, and some good dinner options. We had a minor delay at check-in, but otherwise this is a superb hotel.
Just stayed for the one night but overall a decent stay in the heart of downtown Moncton. There was a little league hockey team in for the night which made things quite annoying with kids playing hockey stick in the hallway and running up and down but other than that it was a really nice property. The rooms were spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage place. Had in room microwave and fridge, which is always added bonus, decent size tv, and workstation with built in luggage bench. Bathroom layout was a little cramped but it worked! Did not get a chance to eat in the onsite restaurant but it look really nice! Hotel is within walking distance of all downtown Moncton has to offer and very easy to find.
We booked this property last minute on points. We had enough for a free night and paid for the additional night. We had a two queen bed room on the 4th floor. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn when we visit Moncton but, due to a problem with our reservation at Hampton, we booked this the night before we arrived. Overall, nice hotel. I liked the area. It did not seem sketchy to me at all. It was close to the downtown area which we liked because we could walk to dinner. Our room was nice. The two beds were very comfortable. Shower was great, lots of water pressure. Our fridge, as with the previous review, did not seem to work. The first night it lit up but nothing was cold. The second night it kept things cold, which is strange. One thing I noticed was that we had a coffee machine, but no cups. I had to go to the front desk for that. We didn't even have cups (other than the paper coffee ones I got from the front desk) for water. I found that very disappointing. I did not think I had to bring my own cups to a hotel, especially at the price this one was charging to stay at. I would booked this hotel again. I am hoping it is new and some of the kinks need to be worked out. Our first night we checked in, dropped out bags, and headed out for dinner. Upon our return, we noticed a face cloth stuck at the top of the shower, like it was left there to dry. We did not put it there, and we had no face cloths in the room. Very limited towels too (one towel for each of us and one hand towel to share, nothing else). We called the front desk for face cloths for the shower. Someone came up about 30 minutes later with two more hand towels, saying they did not have face cloths. We showered them the face cloth at the top of our shower. The person offered to take it, but she did not have gloves on and we had no idea who had left it, so we said no. I assumed someone might come in the next day while we were out to get it but they did not. We left it there. I was a little uneasy about a dirty face cloth in our shower. We did not touch it so it might still be there, who knows. This made me question the COVID protocol at this hotel. I included my Pros and Cons list here: Pros -Location, good for restaurants and window shopping -Great bed, although the pillows left something to be desired (one long 'body' pillow and two regular pillows. Very strange) -Relatively quiet. The people next door only woke up once when they came back late, early morning -Shower was good -Once you figured out the air conditioning, it worked well. First night was a little warm but second was perfect -Blackout shade on the window, great. -Front desk staff was great Cons -As mentioned, the dirty face cloth left by someone. -Not enough towels -No cups or mugs in our room for coffee or water -Carpet in our room not the cleanest -No face cloth to use -Fridge was strange, or did not work -The website says room service. It even says it on the phone but I pressed the button twice for breakfast and no response. -TV channels did not work with the guide at all -The hotel restaurant was not very friendly. We stopped in our first night and asked to see the breakfast menu, for room service or even in the restaurant service the next morning. They did not seem to understand why we asked, and then kept asking us if we wanted to order. We said "no thank you" to breakfast at 7pm, which they stop serving it at 10am). Also, no desserts. We hoped for dessert our first night after dinner. The menu said cakes made daily. They had a New York cheesecake with berry topping, a cookie, or a brownie, which you could get in the little shop area. Kind of deceiving. -The parking. $12/day plus tax is excessive for this place. We parked underground and it was not full at all. Hilton, really offer a rate with parking or decrease it. $24 plus tax for two days is a little much. I was given a paper to put on my dash, but forgot about it completely and nothing happened to my car. I am assuming no one even checked so I guess I could have parked for free. Like I said, I would try it again. I think someone said it was $400 for one night. I used points one night and paid $200 for the second. $400 is over the top for this place and I would not pay it. Not worth it at all. But, given the location, I might book it again. I likely will park my car at a parking lot down the street for half the price though. $12/day plus tax is taking advantage, in my opinion.…
