We stayed at the Amsterdam Inn and Suites three times in June/July. It was our 'home base' for a trip to the east coast. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the ground floor rooms have lovely balconies where you can sit and watch the traffic on the highway. While close to the highway, you cannot hear the traffic sounds. The rooms are very quiet even on the side facing Hwy 2. This place offers a free breakfast and it is really good. The breakfast items are plentiful and hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff at the front desk are professional and we were also impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the chamber maids. This hotel is minutes from downtown Moncton and not too far from the airport. In our 20 day stay on the East Coast (NFLD, NS and NB) the Amsterdam Inn & Suites was among the best and most economical! If you need to stay in Moncton, this is a very, very good choice!

This place is gleaming!! Everything is spotless! I was very impressed that the staff served the buffet breakfast. I hate getting my food with utensils that have been used by a dozen people ahead of me who may or may not have washed their hands! They wore gloves, gave as much as you wanted of eggs, toast, sausage, beans, and hash browns. There was cereal and other items as well. You could serve yourself if you wanted muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea etc. I had a room facing the street with a little porch and an Adirondack chair. ( I prefer to sit and watch the traffic, the back is just some grass but if you prefer privacy and no traffic, choose the back) The office desk had ample space to work and the chair was height adjustable with a contoured back. The bed is by Beauty-rest and was very comfortable! Each room has its own heating/cooling unit so you can set the temperature where you like. There are plenty of plugs and usb ports as well. The blinds on the door do allow a slight amount of light in so if you like pitch black, you may be better off on the 2nd floor where there is no door. The tub was so clean!! The shower was hot with plenty of pressure and I really liked the shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. I am booked here again in 2 weeks…. loved it!!!

It's been a while since we have visited Moncton so remembering this hotel from our last visit, we booked with them again. Checkin was easy and our rooms were still under reservation and clean. The rooms were exactly what we needed after being in the sun and water all day and not wanting to drive the 3 hours back to Halifax at night. The mattress in our room was awesome, not too hard, very comfortable, we had a great sleep on those beds. We knew that there was some type of breakfast but had no idea that it was sausage ( not GF ), bacon, eggs ( hard boiled and scrambled ), toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, beans, yogurt and potatoes. I asked the delightful women at the front desk if she knew if I could eat anything they had to offer because of serious and significate food allergies and she handed me a "special menu". That menu included plant based sausage, bacon, gluten free and lactose free toast and cereal and even had silk for coffee. I wanted to ensure that I reviewed this inn because I researched gluten free and lactose free on TA before we booked and could not find any info. This is above and beyond for guests and the millions of people who are allergic to gluten and lactose and an outstanding commitment to a community who are often left out.

The room was very clean and mostly quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
I was really disappointed to find out the hotel doesn’t recycle. I’ve not been to a hotel in the maritimes in the past few years that doesn’t have a plastic recycling program and in this day and age it seems like it should be common practice.
The wifi didn’t work at all. When we called to front desk to ask about this we were told that it was a “full house” and nothing could be done. So maybe you need a new wifi provider that can accommodate when you’re full.
We were also not that impressed with the breakfast. After the way people talked it up in the reviews, we expected more. The eggs were runny and likely powdered eggs? There was no fruit. It would have been nice to have the option of hard boiled eggs and some fresh fruit and unsweetened yogurt.
Finally, the shower water in the morning was cold. I’m guessing because the hotel was full but still made for an unpleasant shower.
We had chosen this place because it got better reviews than the Marriott and Delta but other than the cleanliness it wasn’t any better.

We stayed at the Amsterdam Inn & Suites in December and had the best experience! The staff were amazing and very accommodating! They even set up our room with rose petals, wine, flowers and a fruit tray (at my husband's request). When we arrived for check-in, we were surprised to hear that they upgraded us to a larger suite with a king-sized bed, kitchenette, and living area for no extra charge. There was also complimentary wifi and breakfast! We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Moncton. Thanks again for making our stay so incredible!

The staff were great. The hotel was nice and clean. As a hotel I can recommend this place. However as an EV owner, they installed a 3rd party charger. The first night it worked well, but cast a lot of $$$ compared to all other chargers. The second night, it did not work, failed 4 times, and each time they charged me $4.00 just for the hookup. So our reason for choosing this location was the charger. With all the additional cost of their charger, I could stay at a much nicer hotel and get a charge. I asked to have the manger call me. Never got a call back.

I have stayed in this hotel several times. Every time there has been no hassles, just a good clean spacious room. You can pull right up to your door and the room has both an interior and exterior entrance. It is pet friendly. The breakfasts are a cut above your usual hotel fare. We stayed in the Amsterdam Inn & Suites in Moncton to break up a long road trip between Maine and Cape Breton. The Inn is right on the Trans Canada Highway, and very convenient to access. If your into betting, there is a large casino next door that we did not explore. The rooms were spacious for this kind of mid-range hotel/motel, and the beds and linens are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped. The full buffet breakfast was very good. The only downside was the lack of elevator for rooms on the second floor, but the managers are happy to accommodate people with disabilities and accessible rooms are available.
