Stayed for five nights on my return from Ontario to ensure I was COVID-free before returning home. My suite had EVERYTHING I needed to be comfortable and even get some work done. But the bed was outstanding and I slept so deeply. The building is located adjacent to the City Market and several restaurants. Will be recommending the "Suites" for friends visiting from out of town. And impeccably clean. Everything. Other hotels could learn from your standards.

My daughters and I had an extremely satisfying night stay at Chipman Hill. The emails sent before our stay provided us with all the information we needed for location, parking, etc. We were beyond surprised to receive a personal phone call asking if we would want to check in early. Wow!! Upon arrival we were met by a very welcoming and friendly hostess who showed us to our room and told us to let her know if we needed anything. The Christmas decorations in the lobby of the historic building and the garland on the stairway did not go unnoticed and were just special touches that made us smile. Our accommodations were out of this world, they provided everything we would ever need and more. We all slept like babies in the most comfortable king size beds and fluffiest pillows. The room was awesome. More like an apartment than just a room. It has everything you need. The girls that cleaned my room were very sweet. Having a washer and dryer in my room was very convenient. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a beautiful room at 1 Chipman Hill. It was very clean and had lovely furnishings. The full kitchen with complimentary coffee was great. When we had a minor concern with our toaster, Grace responded immediately with a new one. We will definitely stay with Chipman Hill Suites anytime we come to Saint John. They are all conveniently located in Uptown.

I’ve been staying with Chipman Hill Suites for the past 8 years during the fall turnarounds at the refinery. The places have character and the service is second to none. The staff do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable, With the fluent scheduling of turnaround lifestyle they are always the most accommodating with stay duration and cleaning schedules even for night shift guests. This cozy property was perfect for my husband's and my needs. Walking distance to the downtown, shops and restaurants, and the Bay of Fundy. Loved staying in a truly historic well maintained property with numerous 19th Century touch. And despite on a somewhat busy street, it was amazingly quiet. Would highly recommend to a couple, as a tad small for any more.

Your kind 5* review is very much appreciated. You and your husband had one of our smaller suites, however, we have suites up to two bedroom with two baths and even three bedroom with three baths if you ever need something larger. People are always shocked at how quiet the buildings are, even though they are on popular and busy uptown streets. These buildings are very old and have up to three layers of brick on the exterior which keep things very quiet on the interior. They built buildings very solidly back in the 1800's. All nine of our historic addresses were constructed prior to 1900, and the ones on Chipman Hill and Union, as early as the 1850's. We stayed in Room 4 of 76 Union Street, and paid for parking there. Location was extremely convenient for walking to the downtown area, restaurants and sights. Our room was very comfortable, including a kitchenette (we only used the refrigerator), table/chairs, king sized bed, modern bathroom. We didn't expect daily room service, and appreciated fresh towels each day. We especially liked free washer/dryer down the hall. Made life easier since we were on extended vacation with limited luggage. Very good communication, along with instructions/directions for parking and entry.

We have stayed at many Chipman Hill properties over the years and always look forward to returning.This past visit was to 1 Chipman Hill. The suite is lovely with a great comfortable bed,good size kitchen area, TV. The bath area is fully appointed.They have parking available on site. The location is close to so many places in Uptown Saint John. It is perfect for us when we visit.
