Overall, I was pleased with my stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza hotel in Saint John. It's not a five-star hotel, but it had all the basics and most of the amenities were up to date. This hotel had the fastest Wi-Fi I've seen at a hotel which was nice considering we didn't have a Canadian data plan while visiting...

We switched rooms, but it didn't help. The carpet in the 1st room was filthy, and the bedding looked 20 years old or more. The 2nd room was mostly better, but I wouldn't step foot in the shower of either room. The bathtubs looked painted over, and the mats they provided were disintegrating and disgusting. We were checked in for...

It was clean. It was in a decent location. It was cheap. Priceline was $62 US and advertised rate was well over $100.00. I described it as comically lacking and my wife disagreed saying it was just phenomenally nondescript. All the little things add up. We were given a room on the first floor with no view and the noise...

I stayed in this hotel for one night. although the name has changed, not much else has. The wifi is terrible. I stayed on the fourth floor and I could only access the sixth floor wifi. I ordered a cot, and it took some time for it to arrive. The pillows were much too soft and the room was stuffy.

The hotel is changing from an Howard Johnson when we stayed 2 years ago to a Canada's Best Value Inn. So it was a little hard to locate since the Howard Johnson banner was taken down. The room was very comfortable, spacious, clean. It provides both a fridge and microwave. The breakfast is served at the Vegas restaurant in the...

During a recent trip to New Brunswick with friends who have a small dog we were unfortunate to stay at this old tired Hotel which may have been good at one time but was certainly no longer that. Its only saving grace was that it allowed small dogs for a fee. Another thing about it that was of note that...

We booked this hotel for one night, as the rate was reasonable and we had stayed there in the past. Upon arrival, we were informed that due to a booking error, the room type we had booked was not available. The front desk clerk apologized, and offered us a free upgrade. Very nice! If you consider a ground-level, smoke-filled, dusty...

The hotel is overall not bad, especially since the pricing is great. Our room was located on the third floor, in an extended area. There are elevators that took us to the third floor but we had to carry the luggage up the stairs to the extended area. Our room was a good, comfortable size and had all basic amenities...
