This was terrible. Dirty small rooms, and a bathroom that is indescribable. In fact if you are large you may not be able to get in the bathroom!!
The "owner"? is Asian and there is a language problem. In fact my reservations were made for the wrong day! There was a room available but I would have been better of if there was none.
Ask about a building on the lower highway and I was given the wrong information. Come on at lest know the area.
Sleep in your car before staying here! And I have no idea what the B&B means. I got a cup of coffee and a store purchased small muffin.

We had a terrible experience at this motel.

The room was great at first, even if there were several dead bugs in the bathroom. However, during the night, we had a major problem. The toilet was flushing used water in the shower. You can imagine the scene. It was disgusting! We called to have another room (more dead bugs) only to find that the toilet wasn't working at all in that second room! We asked to be reimbursed and we were. We left at 1am to find a proper establishment.

Conveniently, the owner changed our booking reservation to ''no show'', which prevents to leave a review on the booking website. So I thought I would leave my comment here. It might get deleted since this motel doesn't seem too concerned about the customer experience, but oh well.

The location is amazing and it could have been a great motel if the management wasn't so cheap with the maintenance. The irony is that on the fridge of the first room, there was a plumber company magnet.

If somebody is curious, we have everything on camera and recorded calls.

A B&B without breakfast?!?!?! We were expecting a clean little room. Instead, we got this beyond cheap room (#5) with a non-working fridge, doors wide open. Little microwave that nothing fits in. Dirty dirty place, spiderwebs everywhere. Tiny bathroom. Old and used bed. Owner was waiting for us, but left the place after we checked in. They never returned! Left the key in the mailbox the following morning, because there was still nobody.... Positive element: nice view on the water in the back. But still, avoid this mess at all cost!!!!

Loved that place. Staff very accommodating. They even bought a new fan just for us to use in the room. Very friendly, very clean and comfortable room. Nice scenery. Nice place to sit and relax in the back yard. Bed very comfortable extra pillows provided for my wife who has stomach problems.

Considering the current review of the hotel on Booking.com, and its price, I never expected to be on the road at 2 o’clock in the morning in search of another hotel because Admiral’s quay could not provide us with a functioning bathroom. In the first room, we killed three spiders and one grasshopper in the bathroom, but we could live with that. We could also live with the box of springs they called a bed. However, the worst arrived when the content of the toilet came out of the shower, showing how deep the plumbing problems at the hotel go. In the room we were giving in reparation, there was a dead grasshopper in the bath, but we could live with that too. However, when we tried the toilet, we found that flushing had no effect whatsoever. It was just not functional.
The rooms look okay, the view is nice, but I would never recommend it to anybody.

We were on our way to Nova Scotia via the Digby ferry so we thought that the close proximity of the motel to the ferry terminal would be ideal. By the time we arrived it was too late to book anything else and as we had pre-booked with our credit card we were forced to take a very sub-standard room. I believe that the Admiral's Quay is a two story split level that was converted to a motel and I am positive that the modifications were not done by professional decorators. Our unit had a bedroom and kitchen that both smelled of mold and even though we needed heat there was no thermostat in the room. The very soft double bed took up most of the space with a TV on a table that required us to crane our necks to watch TV. There were no extra pillows, no restaurants close by, etc., etc.

After 10 hours of driving couldn't wait to arrive to what we thought would be a nice bed and breakfast.. We arrived and the owners of the B&B were waiting for us. Were very nice people, very friendly. Gave us room # 5. Went into room and couldn't believe it. Bugs everywhere. Everything was very old, like it hadn't been redone in years. Spider webs on walls and floors. Rust all over heaters and in bathroom as well as refridgerator. No breakfast availble like brouchure says. About a ten minute ride downtown. Overall very disappointed. If we didn't arrive a little before midnight after hours of driving would have left right away. Definately not a B&B more like a cheap motel. Very Disappointed.
