We were passing through Shediac and decided to try Gabriele for a lobster dinner. The ambience was really nice, the lobster was fresh and very tasty and accompanied by a dish of fresh vegetables. The service was exceptional by our waitress Joline who showed two fairly inexperienced English people how to get the best out of our lobsters. A brilliant evening.
We arrived just after a rain storm so the plastic awnings were down but we chose to sit in the patio area. We soon had to raise the awnings which made it perfect for dining. The restaurant was comfortable and the service good while a little slow. We were 5 adults for dinner. The escargot were terrific. If I show the picture, there is only the dish left. We enjoyed a few glasses of white wine including the happy hour special. Our food choices ranged from fish & chips, scallop salad, seafood casserole and lobster. All dishes were very tasty and prepared well. All in all, we had a great family dinner and stayed until sunset which was visible to the side of the property. The total bill came to $230 before gratuity including drinks food and taxes. At $46 per person that was well worth it and we would dine there again.…
We overnighted here on a cross-Canada road trip and found it quite acceptable for a stopover. Our room on the third floor involved a few steep flights of stairs, but was roomy, very clean and quite comfortable. The large bathroom had both a big shower and a spa bath. The weather was hot, and the air conditioner struggled to keep up and was VERY loud. However, the restaurant in the hotel is excellent and very popular. Their warm scallop salad is excellent, and the staff are delightful. Breakfast is also included in the room tariff, with an excellent range of hot or cold options.
My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night for our anniversary. We ordered a bottle of white, appetizers and entrees. The service was prompt, friendly and on point. I had a salad to start and the chicken Alfredo linguini for my main. The salad was pretty basic, but the pasta was fabulous. I ate every bite. My partner has the escargot to start and the seafood casserole for his main. The app was great but his main was just ok. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would probably visit here again!
The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. We have no complaint about our stay except for the shower because the water would get colder on and off, and for the air conditioning that was loud (although we were glad to have it because of the hot weather!). Breakfast was good, and the service was excellent.
