A beautifully restored Victorian villa in the heart of downtown Shédiac which earns its 4 stars as a B&B with its spacious and comfortable rooms (all with TV, A/C & WiFi), copious breakfasts, and welcoming hosts. The building is as described and is exquisite. Although mature of age it has all modern attributes with a very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Everything was very clean. Although located on the corner of a Main Street the room was very quiet.
In addition to the bedroom you have use of a kitchen and a relaxing siting room with very nice furniture.
The breakfast was excellent and substantial cooked by the host. We had a very nice chat too.
Overall an excellent experience.
We also dined at their restaurant which was close by and had an excellent meal at a reasonable price. However, if you like board/ card games it could be a dangerous place as there are literally hundreds of games available - quite amazing.

Absolutely wonderful!!!
This bed and breakfast in a historic building did not disappoint. The room we stayed in (l’échiquier) was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was quite comfortable and every detail was perfect.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the hostess was friendly and helpful.
There is plenty of parking on the property (off of the street).
There is also a parlour that guests are welcome to use; board games are available as well.

This spot met all our expectations as an excellent bed and breakfast! Our room, with historic detail, was spacious and immaculate, with all amenities. Our bed was very comfortable and linens were soft and crisp. Our very generous hot breakfast was prepared fresh by our host, with lots of happy banter back and forth.
The host’s restaurant just down the street was also a wonderful treat. Food and drinks were all excellent, while a very talented guitarist provided discreet but very enjoyable musical accompaniment!
We travel regularly to PEI, and this will certainly be our place to stay (and to highly recommend to others!!) while passing through Shediac!

Room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. You do go up two or three sets of stairs, depending on which room you’re in. Jackie was very personable, shared information of places to go and she made a great breakfast every morning. The Inn is centrally located in town close to restaurants. No road noise and plenty of parking.

This is the B&B experience that travellers look for. A well preserved older house with warm common areas, comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast in the heart of Shediac. Access to a common kitchen to store food, make coffee, etc is appreciated. The hosts are discrete, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I can't begin to say enough about the wonderful experience I had.
The house is old and full of charm, my room and bed were very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
The location is within easy walking distance of downtown shopping and restaurants. The beach is only about a twenty minute stroll away following a trail easily accesible. I am most impressed with Sebastien the inn keeper. I was the only guest at the time and we spent hours talking while breakfast was being prepared and consumed. He is a very charming and well educated person who can speak easily about many interesting topics with a point of view well worth listening to.
I will recommend his business to all who travel and am looking forward to returning once life gets back to normal.
He took me in when I needed a place after my return from Florida and had to self-isolate for 2 weeks

Fabulous place to come home to after a busy day with family. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. The delicious breakfast with an abundance of fresh, seasonal fruit was prepared and presented with love.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Le Griffon. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms , a helpful and charming staff ,including the sister of the owner. A gourmet breakfast was served along with very interesting conversation.
