We rented the room with an en suite bathroom which was good for us. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great, she made sure I got gluten free waffles - the first time I've ever had them! The room did not have an open window so we used the A/C most of the night. The house is on Main St., but after 11 or so the traffic noise dies down. We were in town during lobster fest so we caught a live band just down the street. We had our bikes so instead of driving to the wharf for supper in Pointe du Chene, we biked. The trail is great and walking on the beach at low tide brought back memories from my childhood.
La Louisiana BnB did not disappoint. Very comfortable and in a great location. We had the best sleep of our trip so far there. Both Lady Janet and Lady Judi were welcoming and friendly. Lady Judi made us a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this BnB.
Just as a proviso: I believe the hostesses were trying to sell the B&B (they want a quieter low key less work thing to retire to), so maybe actually contact the people and talk to them about your stay. Regarding the stay itself ... my room we really nice (it's got that great, "old well kept up old house B&B look and feel). I was on a cycling trip and they accommodated my bike lock up ans security needs really well. Breakfast happens in a roomy and sunny location, it's speedy and tasty.
Stayed here for 1 night in August 2016. Judy was very friendly and check in was good. Was given lots of information and shown room. Parking is carefully thought out for the three rooms, and no-be gets blocked in. Fairly quiet location, even though near a main road. Very good to be able to walk to the town, and we were impressed by what there was nearby, including many eating places and the giant lobster. Room was very clean, with good sized bathroom. Breakfast was good, included waffles and both Judy and Janet were around and friendly.
Judy and Janet were super friendly and fantastic hosts. The home was in a great location and within walking distance of the main street with shops, banks and restaurants. Also within walking distance of the tourist information and giant Lobster statue. The ladies were the most home-like hostesses. Our room was super comfortable with all the amenities (queen room with en suite bath) We stayed 3 nights and each morning were offered a different breakfast which all were really wonderful.Judy was a great cook and breakfast service was everything you would ask for. We even were given a treat bag each day for our afternoon snack & yummy baked goods were inside. A.very nice touch! We highly recommend them and give them a 15 out of 10 and really can't say enough to do them justice. Free wifi access was very good as well.…
