We came here for our honeymoon and drove from St Johns. This place was by far the best one. It was very clean and worth the money. There are little kitchens so we were able to get some fresh seafood and cook it ourselves for something different. I recommend anyone staying here if you are passing by

Fairly new owners who are obviously taking the time to upgrade the motel to be more than a "workers" overnight stay. Good, clean, affordable accommodation with kitchenette hosting fridge, micro, coffee maker and everything you need to eat in.
Definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I travel regularly as a commercial traveller and started using this place a few years ago for short and long term stays. I like the convenience of a motel entrance and having a small full sized kitchen is great. (24 inch range & full single sink) Fast food is not healthy so I carry my own or shop instead of eating out. The units I have stayed in are all newly renovated and well kept, bedrooms are at the back making for a quiet night in a comfortable bed.The rooms are well kept and clean and the dishes even match. Service is high quality, casual, friendly and professional. Meets all my needs!!

Do not believe the previous posters if your used to staying in a hostel or a tent then this motel might be consider ok.
The location is right on a T intersection which is very busy with semi's and cars. We arrived at 4 pm for check in only to find the office locked up and no one to be seen.A small sign in the office 2 inches by 4 inches that said office and a board that had a phone number to call.
If you want your guests to call, then have a phone for them to use, as not everyone has a cell phone.
We found a pay phone to call and when we called we where told to go to Room #7 which was left open and a key was inside why don't you just leave a note for your reservations and which room they have. In most places leaving the door open is trouble but don't worry at this motel as there is nothing of value in the room, except maybe a 1970 pull out couch or the $99.00 flat screen TV or the $10.00 wal-mart kettle
Room 7 was totally beat up,every wall had scratches, dents in the drywall, finger prints on the walls it's just a dive. The room had a small flat screen TV with a screen no bigger than my lap top that I am using to write this review. The room is dark and maybe 12 ft wide by 24 ft long and includes a very cheap table, extremely small kitchen area.I do understand you get what you pay for but @ 86.00 tax in, it is not worth it.
Posters have mentioned a view but the only view is of the very busy road in front from all rooms.

Another disturbing thing is that the rooms have no secondary lock so you can't securely lock your self in the room so anyone who might have a key can gain access to your room also it has one small window out to the parking lot with see though cheap shear curtains that any one can stand out side and look inside your room.
The room only has one smoke detector in the bedroom and it should have two.
The amenities are a couple big bottles of soap and shampoo from wal mart so everyone can do what ever with and no individual single use amenities
The extra pillows in the room stink and had gross dirty pillow cases.
Pass on this place we wont be back it is a dive that they have put some siding on, to give it some curb apeal

We chose the River's End Motel knowing we had to get on the road early the next morning. It is conveniently located just off the highway. It is busy location but amazingly quiet at night. Hostess Lisa was extremely helpful and personable in helping us decide what to do with our short time in Corner Brook and where to eat. We took the northern peninsula drive, very beautiful scenic drive. Lisa gave us suggestions of things to see and along the way. The hotel is clean and comfortable, bathroom spotless and very reasonable priced. Our room had a kitchenette, coffee supplied, and a sitting area . Glad we chose to stay here, all our needs were met and more.

Close to town, spotlessly clean, beautiful veiw and reasonable rates! I picked here because of good reviews and I was very happy with my choice. The rooms looked like they had just been renovated and looked brand new! I spoke with several people who stay here on a regular basis through work and all agree it is the best value in Corner Brook.

I stayed for a week and was pleased with the accommodations. I was in room 10 so only had neighbours on one side, rarely heard them. The room was clean and well maintained. I loved having the kitchenette so I didn't have to eat out every day. Excellent value for the money, the option of a weekly rate meant saving a few dollars which is always appreciated. I'd definitely stay here again.

Got to the motel and gave Lisa a call. She was only 10 minutes down the road and quickly got us checked in and into our room. The room was great. Little kitchenette with a bar fride small stove and dishes. Nice pull out couch that would have been ok to sleep on if it wasnt for the two beds in the bed room. Everything was clean and comfortable and the convience store across the road had exactly what we needed. For 75 bucks i can not fault this motel. Would definitely come back.

We were looking for something under 100$ and this had the highest star rating for that rate. I have to say, I thought it would have cost more, it was quite a nice location, on the edge of Corner Brook, near the river.

Had we stayed longer we might have gone tubing on the river as we saw many people doing.

The suites had a double and single bed in a bedroom, a futon and tv in the living/entry room. A bar fridge, small stove, sink in the kitchen area of the front room.

The owner was very pleasant, we showed up at 11am, as we had just packed up a camping site and were looking for a place to dry out. Our room was not ready, but she let us pay and gave us our key and went and cleaned it immediately, we were in when we came back at noon.

It was nice to have the functional kitchen.

The futon was not much to talk about, would not recommend sleeping on it but the beds were very comfortable and firm, but not to hard.

The bathroom and rest of facility were clean.
