We stayed at Bamberry house one night, the room was very nice and clean and there's a private parking space in front of the house. Breakfast is very good. We really want to thank the owner because we lost our luggage ,and she helped us a lot. We didn't like Saint John's too much but this bb is what we liked...

We enjoyed a very relaxed 3 night stay in a very comfortable, clean and private room. Our spacious room looked out over the multicoloured homes on military road, where we could hear the soothing sounds of beautiful city life. Our hostess served a delicious breakfast each morning. The pancakes were hearty and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place, if...

Beautiful rooms and period furniture and art. Only problem is that the caretaker was not very friendly at all when we arrived, and not very accommodating with a request for an early breakfast for our children when we had to fly out early. I found that very unfortunate, after staying is so many other places where people go out of...

Stayed for two nights after 12 day west to east trip across Newfoundland. Well maintained and graceful period home with modern amenities. Convenient for downtown, 10 minute walk (albeit rather strenuous!). Convenient and free parking. We had beautiful room on ground floor at back of house with ensuite bathroom. Hostess Eileen extremely accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with wide...

We stayed at this elegant Bed & Breakfast on our way in and out of St. John's. Our flight was delayed and Eileen was most accommodating in leaving a key for us as well as a parking place right outside the door. The bathroom was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is served anytime between 8 - 10 - "come...

The Banberry Inn is a charming B&B centrally located with off street parkin. The proprietor, Aileen, went out of her way to prepare codfish cakes (we don't eat meat) as a substitute for breakfast meats as part of a sumptuous breakfast.

For this, our first trip to Newfoundland (and now I know there will be many more), we feel we really lucked out by discovering Banberry House, a beautiful Victorian B and B in the heart of St John's. I am absolutely certain we will stay at Banberry House on return trips. This is luxury at a very reasonable price and...

A good location no more than 10 minutes walk from most of St John's centre and attractions. Rooms were excellent, only gripe was the windows were difficult/impossible to open. Breakfasts were cooked to order after yoghurt and fruit and were delicious. Eileen created a home from home. Thoroughly enjoyable, and next to Moo Moos.

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, and the location was very convenient for strolling into town. Free parking is available across the street (or anywhere within a block radius thanks to the handy B&B parking tag). The rooms facing the road certainly do get noisy in the mornings, and unfortunately you can't choose which room you get,...

Our bike tour had booked this place in St. John's and as we were coming 2 days before and one day after we decided to go with this place. Bed and breakfasts are always a hit or miss but this was definitely a hit. We had a large wood panelled room on the main floor with an attached bathroom and...
