Just checked out. James and Janet the hosts were great. Very well maintained, clean and great food. The house is older with a lot of character. Some basic munchies such as cookies and popcorn are always available. James was a great resource offering excellent travel suggestions and recommended excellent restaurants. You will not be disappointed. Frank

James and his family provide a fabulous experience where attention to detail is the norm. They really look after you in every possible way. It was unseasonably warm in St John’s and we had a lovely large room with a claw bath in the adjacent bathroom. James had provided two fans knowing that the room would be warm. Slippers were provided, a microwave in the kitchen together with an excellent collection of David’s teas including Robison tea fromSouth Africa. Freshly baked goods for breakfast with croissants, scones and other delectable goodies appearing with the home made muesli. Lots of good books on NFL in the common sitting room, a free parking pass for your car and lots of information about local sights, dining, hikes and most other things. James has travelled a lot and

A vintage home in the heart of Jellybean Row. Great location to downtown St. John's. We had the room on the top floor with the claw-foot tub. Nothing short of spectacular as is the whole home. The brother sister team are fabulous hosts offering suggestions and assistance for all your needs. A great continental breakfast is offered each morning that include freshly baked breads and muffins. Will return and recommend to all!

Where to begin?! My partner and I stayed at this lovely family-owned B&B in Downtown St. John's and were impressed and refreshed by our visit. Before you think it's a little "pricey" let me tell you something. My partner manages a restaurant in downtown Toronto, and I have been working in the service industry myself for the past seven years. We know how hard it can be to think of and implement the finer and often unnoticed details of excellent guest experience. They really know what they're doing, and given the incredible service being offered, I'm surprised the price isn't higher. They've thought of everything. Books to read, playing cards, and cribbage board for rainy days. Bandaids in the washrooms for hiking blisters. Q-Tips. The softest sheets I've ever slept in. Not to

An updated older three story with lots of charm. Period furniture is combined with new showers and plumbing. Breakfast has lots of fruit with yogurt, fruit juices, homemade granola and tea and coffee. Near downtown so that you can easily walk to attractions and restaurants.
