Big room (top floor) but the lighting was not great to read by. But the room had a big bathroom with the longest claw foot tub i've ever experienced (i'm 5'6"). This B & B is in a great location for walking around St. John and 2 minutes from the Sheraton if you're attending a conference or convention there. The B & B is outfitted in period pieces and the best part about it are the excellent breakfasts (different each day) and the gracious hosts. Please note that this B & B has no elevator. Highly recommended B & B.

We stayed at Wit's Inn in the last week of June and it was a terrific stay. The proprietor James is absolutely delightful and charming and runs a beautifully appointed and well run b&b. Perfectly located, spacious, scrupulously clean and a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back to stay with them again.

Believe the reviews! At Wit's End is a lovely B&B with pretty rooms, comfortable beds, steamy showers, delicious breakfasts and a great location. James was a wonderful host and helped us think through our plans for three days in St. John's NL, making some great suggestions. It was a good base for exploring the city and using our rental car to see some of the Irish Loop. We spent three nights at this wonderful establishment and recommend it highly. Looking forward to returning!

What can I say about this place but WOW!! This Queen Ann Home is immaculate thanks to host James. He has kept this early 1880’s home as close to its originality as possible. To stay in this historic home was a reason alone to travel to St.John’s! The beds were Devine to crawl in at night...they were so comfortable. We had the room with a claw foot tub so a bath had to happen! The location was perfect. Walking distances to Single Hill, nice coffee shops, fantastic restaurants, and downtown shopping. The host, James, sure knows how to treat his guests. The breakfast was amazing! The absolute best French toast I ever had! Yummy hot out of the oven breakfast cookies, yogurt, fruit, cheeses! I felt spoiled. There is a lovely old fashion pantry open to all the guests to
