Spent 4 nights in room 4 and can't say enough great things about the experience . The old house is a dream ......spotlessly clean.....the bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in.....the breakfasts were unbelievable gourmet treats, different every morning ,couldn't wait to get downstairs. The hosts Janet and Gary were a warm and inviting couple who...

We stayed at this lovely B&B in Feb and really enjoyed the experience. Janet (our host) was very hospitable to us. Our bedroom on the third floor was very nice with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was served in a warm and inviting dining room. I would recommend this B&B especially for visitors who would like to be close to...

What a great experience Janet and Gary gave us as hosts of the Wit Inn. We could not wait to get to the dining room each morning anticipating the fresh baked muffins or the banana bread along with a full breakfast and lots of great coffee. Great atmosphere instantly felt at home. If you are travelling to St. John Nfld....

The Wit's Inn is an absolutely gorgeous old house, and surprisingly also extremely quiet; wouldn't know whether there was someone in the adjacent room or on the next floor. We stayed there for 6 nights and were lucky to enjoy a variety of breakfast, all different and delicious. The Wit's Inn is close to everything. Just across from a nice...

We stayed here in October for 2 nights, and everything about this B&B was perfectly done! the owners are amazingly kind people and they go out of their way to provide anything you might need or want during your stay. Janet makes the best breakfasts each morning with something freshly baked to go along with it. The rooms are excellent...

At Wit's End was our last stay on our whirlwind tour of Newfoundland...What an excellent way to end our trip... While we had stayed in more elegant B & B's on this trip...this still was very much a treat... Our room was on the 3rd. floor..# 4...very quiet.. not hear anyone else...and the traffic was not a bother.. and very...

We stayed at seven B&Bs during our road trip to the East Coast and this was our least favourite. Not that it was a bad experience, but we didn't feel it merits the glowing reviews it receives on Tripadvisor. We were in Room 4 at the top of two steep staircases. The room was large, clean and comfortable, as was...

We had a couple of really comfortable night's stay at this well located B & B. Our hosts, Janet and Garry were great ambassadors of the city and gave us some good advise on highlights to hit. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so getting up with 2 large suitcases was interesting, but our room was so quaint and...

While at a conference, I stayed 4 days in this beautiful historic, immaculately clean and immensely comfortable B & B. Janet and Garry are welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts are varied and delicious; fresh fruit salad with yogurt, fresh baked bread, and homemade jam along with eggs and ham; with an option of continental if you need to leave the...
