This historic house is centrally located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do while in St. John's. Earl was super helpful in recommending things to do, places to eat and other little tips for our stay. Breakfast was excellent and changed each day. We stayed on the top floor which did get hot at night. I would definitely...

Beautiful historic home. Stayed there twice while in St John's and would recommend to anyone who appreciates a fabulous location, excellent historical value and a very informative host. I don't think you could find a better location as we were in walking distance to downtown and many excellent historical sites

The Rendell Shea is a fine old house, with a bit of history and character. Felt like a step back in time! We had a spacious room with a four poster - a high climb into bed! Earl was a genial, helpful host with a relaxed, friendly style, keen to volunteer information on where to go, eat, etc., and we...

We stayed 3 nights in total at this delightful B&B. Lovely old historic house, very comfortably furnished and little extras like tea, coffee and homemade buns freely available were much appreciated. Earl and Helen were welcoming and friendly hosts and did cook the most delicious breakfasts!

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful historical B&B. Earl was a superb host - very friendly, helpful and informative. It was within easy walking distance to the tourist centres in St John's - as well as some fabulous dinner places. The breakfasts were superb and varied from morning to morning. Our breakfasts were very informative as we chatted with...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our two week Newfoundland trip. We were in the Signal Hill Room on the third floor which could be a problem for you if you don't like stairs. Our host Earl, was very welcoming and informative and gave us a great map and tips on eating places...

We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful history B&B in St. John's. during July, 2016. Our host was most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed each tasty breakfast and lively conversations with other happy guests. It was the best B&B on this 2.5 week trip in Newfoundland. We would stay there again for sure.

Friendly, elegant charm within minutes of restaurants and Signal Hill! My wife and I just spent 6 wonderful nights at the Rendell Shea B&B in historic downtown St John's. In fact, we flew to St John's, stayed at Earl's beautiful and friendly B&B for 4 nights , toured the island then returned to the Rendell Shea for 2 more nights...

We stayed here for our wedding night, and the accommodations were perfect - beautiful historic manor in our wonderful city, very clean and comfortable. We were late for breakfast which surprisingly ended at 9:30am on a weekend, however the staff still prepared us our meal which was very nice of them to do. We were told later that we could...

This location is an easy walk downtown or stay up on the ridge and walk along looking at the lovely homes and gardens. Breakfast is enjoyably shared which I really enjoyed as I was travelling along. After a few days of pleasant accommodation I left St.John's late in the evening. I appreciated using the lower level of the house for...
