Everything is more expensive north of 60.... Unlike most B&B’s there was no - “home-cooked breakfast shared with fellow travelers is a much-loved perk of the B&B experience.” The B&B was more like a hostel as you prepared your own food and cleaned up after. White bread ,margarine (no jam or spreads) coffee (KURIG!) tea ,sugar, cereals ,milk juice ,filtered water carafe ,kitchen with pots pans bowls plates etc apples oranges The food and kitchen were available throughout the day Large Comfortable sitting room w TV which flows from kitchen area Shared bath like most B&Bs Wonderful view of the lake from deck - watch float planes come n go Watch floating community of house "boats" New house comfortable beds curtains block most light - if you’re a light sleeper bring your mask. If your spouse snores bring your earplugs. WiFi sitting room themed on the B&B name. Still not sure what the keys above each guest door were for. Leone & Clem Paul are good hosts.

Here on Latham Island is a real gem of a place, where you will be most welcomed by Leone and Clem Paul. It has three bedrooms a twin and two doubles, a shared kitchen, lounge and bathroom/shower. So lots of good vibes and the opportunity to talk with other guests. BUT THE MAIN ADVANTAGE. is that you can really see the Aurora from their back garden!!!! WOW YES WOW!! Forget any trips! save your money for beer at the NWT Brewery! I stayed for ten nights and saw them on 8 evenings. Awesome Trust me you will not be disappointed. Martin Izzard Esq., B.E.M.

I stayed for 3 nights and I saw Northern lights for 2 nights on August 16&17. My room is very clean and spacious. They offer breakfast, coffee, fruit. The B&B is in old town, beside the great slave lake. I really love the location. The host even gave me a ride to the airport on the day I left.

I enjoyed staying here very much and was sorry I didn't have more time to spend just chilling in the very comfy and spacious living room. The hosts (Leona and Clem) have lived in Yellowknife their whole lives and know everything about the area. Clem will keep you entertained with his humor. They were kind enough to lend me a big jacket to stay warm, and to drive me into town and to the airport. The house is in a lovely area of Yellowknife on the "island" across the water from Old Town with beautiful houses and lake views. Its an easy cab ride there or in summer you could walk. There is a full kitchen and a lovely big balcony and platform with grill. I would love to stay here again.
